The Jitang metamorphic complex is key to studying the tectonic evolution of the Northern Lancangjiang *** structural-lithological mapping,structural analysis and laboratory testing,the composition of the Jitang metamorphic complex was *** macro-and microstructural analyses of the ductile detachment shear zone(Guoxuepu ductile shear zone,2–4 km wide)between the metamorphic complex and the overlying sedimentary cap show that the shear sense of the ductile shear zones is *** presence of various deformation features and quartz C-axis electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)fabric analysis suggests multiple deformation events occurring at different *** average stress is 25.68 MPa,with the strain rates(έ)ranging from 9.77×10^(−14)s^(−1)to 6.52×10^(−16)s^(−1).The finite strain of the Guoxuepu ductile shear zone indicates an elongated strain *** average kinematic vorticity of the Guoxuepu ductile shear zone is 0.88,implying that the shear zone is dominated by simple *** muscovite selected from the protomylonite samples in the Guoxuepu ductile shear zone yields a 40Ar-39Ar age of 60.09±0.38 *** is suggested that,coeval with the initial Indo–Eurasian collision,the development of strike-slip faults led to a weak and unstable crust,upwelling of lower crust magma,then induced the detachment of the Jitang metamorphic complex in the Eocene.

野外实践是地学特色化基础教学环节。野外三维地质体实践教学是理论联系实际的重要桥梁,是学以致用的先决条件。受制于时空范围约束,如何将不同尺度地质体简化成地质专业图件是科学研究的一项基本技能。但受到技术(自然)条件限制,一目不可及和肉眼不可见的区域不能集中呈现的问题是一大教学难点,理论和实际联系困难,由此导致地质观和地质思维的形成周期动辄数载。自从虚拟仿真技术应用于教学以来,突破了地质学教学的时空桎梏,将自然界的地质现象与专业术语一一对应,通过可视化呈现强化了地质现象的直观性和内在性,便于学生对现象的理解。通过大数据平台实时监测反馈实现了教学相长,缩短了地质人才的成才周期。虚拟仿真技术的应用填补了野外地质实践教学中的时空短板,实现了周口店野外实践线上和混合教学质的飞跃。

Revision of the Genus Conophyllia d'Orbigny 1849(Anthozoa, Scleractinia, Triassic) and Conophyllia from the Renacuo area of Gêrzê, Tibet

Age of the Purported Zhanjin Formation in Gêrzê County, Tibet: A New Understanding and Its Significance

Petrogenesis of the Late Triassic shoshonitic Shadegai pluton from the northern North China Craton: Implications for crust-mantle interaction and post-collisional extension

Latest Permian to Triassic plutons are widespread in the northern North China Craton(NCC); most of them show calc-alkaline, high-K calc-alkaline, or alkaline geochemical features. The Shadegai pluton in the Wulashan area has shoshonitic affinity and I-type character, and is composed of syenogranites containing abundant mafic microgranular enclaves(MMEs). LA-MC-ICP-MS U-Pb data yield weighted mean 206 Pb/238 U ages of 222 ± 1 Ma and 221 ± 1 Ma for the syenogranites and MMEs, respectively, suggesting their coeval formation during the Late Triassic. The syenogranites have high SiO_2(70.42-72.30 wt%),K_2O(4.58-5.22 wt.%) and Na_2O(4.19-4.43 wt.%) contents but lower concentrations of P_2O_5(0.073-0.096 wt.%) and TiO_2(0.27-0.37 wt.%), and are categorized as I-type granites, rather than A-type granites, as previously thought. These syenogranites exhibit lower(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i ratios(0.70532-0.70547) and strongly negative whole-rock εNd(t) values(-12.54 to-11.86) and zircon εHf(t) values(-17.81 to-10.77),as well as old Nd(1962-2017 Ma) and Hf(2023-2092 Ma) model ages, indicating that they were derived from the lower *** and petrological observations reveal that the MMEs within the pluton probably represent magmatic globules commingled with their host magmas. Geochemically, these MMEs have low SiO_2(53.46-55.91 wt.%)but high FeOt(7.27-8.79 wt.%) contents. They are enriched in light rare earth elements(LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements(LILEs), and are depleted in heavy rare earth elements(HREEs) and high field strength elements(HFSEs). They have whole-rock(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i ratios varying from 0.70551 to 0.70564, εNd(t) values of -10.63 to -9.82, and zircon εHf(t) values of -9.89 to 0.19. Their geochemical and isotopic features indicate that they were derived from the subcontinental lithospheric mantle mainly metasomatized by slab-derived fluids, with minor involvement of melts generated from the ascending asthenospheric mantle. Discovery of the Plagiogranites in the Diyanmiao Ophiolite,Southeastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt,Inner Mongolia,China and Its Tectonic Significance

In this study, plagiogranites in the Diyanmiao ophiolite of the southeastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt （Altaids） were investigated for the first time. The plagiogranites are composed predominantly of albite and quartz, and occur as irregular intrusive veins in pillow basalts. The plagiogranites have high SiO2 （74.37-76.68wt%） and low A1203 （11.99-13.30wt%）, and intensively high Na20 （4.52-5.49wt%） and low K20 （0.03-0.40wt%） resulting in high Na20/K20 ratios （11.3-183）. These rocks are classified as part of the low-K tholeiitic series. The plagiogranites have low total rare earth element contents （∑REE）（23.62-39.77ppm）, small negative Eu anomalies （JEu=0.44-0.62）, and flat to slightly LREE-depleted chondrite-normalized REE patterns （（La/Yb）N=0.68-0.76）, similar to N-MORB. The plagiogranites are also characterized by Th, U, Zr, and Hf enrichment, and Nb, P, and Ti depletion, have overall flat primitivemantle-normalized trace element patterns. Field and petrological observations and geochemical data suggest that the plagiogranites in the Diyanmiao ophiolite are similar to fractionation-type plagiogranites. Furthermore, the REE patterns of the plagiogranites are similar to those of the gabbros and pillow basalts in the ophiolite. In plots of SREE-SiO2, La-SiO2, and Yb-SiO2, the plagiogranites, pillow basalts, and gabbros show trends typical of crystal fractionation. As such, the plagiogranites are oceanic in origin, formed by crystal fractionation from basaltic magmas derived from depleted mantle, and are part of the Diyanmiao ophiolite. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of zircons from the plagiogranites yielded ages of 328.6±2.1 and 327.1±2.1Ma, indicating an early Carboniferous age for the Diyanmiao ophiolite. These results provide petrological and geochronological evidence for the identification of the Erenhot-Hegenshan oceanic basin and Hegenshan suture of the Paleo-Asian Ocean.

Type division and controlling factor analysis of 3rd-order sequences in marine carbonate rocks

Type division and controlling factor analysis of 3rd-order sequence are of practical significance to tec-tonic analysis, sedimentary environment identification, and other geological researches. Based on the comprehensive analysis of carbon and oxygen isotope trends, paleobathymetry and spectral-frequency of representative well logs, 3rd-order sequences can be divided into 3 types：（a） global sea level （GSL） sequence mainly controlled by GSL change;（b） tectonic sequence mainly controlled by regional tectonic activity;and （c） composite sequence jointly controlled by GSL change and regional tectonic activity. This study aims to identify the controlling factors of 3rd-order sequences and to illustrate a new method for classification of 3rd-order sequences of the middle Permian strata in the Sichuan Basin, China. The middle Permian strata in the Sichuan Basin consist of 3 basin-contrastive 3rd-order sequences, i.e., PSQ1, PSQ2 and PSQ3. Of these, PSQ1 is a GSL sequence while PSQ2 and PSQ3 are composite sequences. The results suggest that the depositional environment was stable during the deposition of PSQ1, but was activated by tectonic activity during the deposition of the middle Permian Maokou Formation.

造山带可分为增生型、碰撞型和板内型3种类型。增生型造山带由于能最大程度保存大洋俯冲过程中的地质信息,对反演古洋盆的俯冲碰撞历史具有重要意义。因此,识别增生型造山带所包含的海沟、增生杂岩、弧前盆地、岩浆弧和弧后盆地等古俯冲带基本单元,是阐明其大地构造意义的关键。其中,增生杂岩作为大洋俯冲增生的主体产物,其内部物质组成、平面和垂向结构,以及所记录的构造变形变质历史等信息,可直接揭示汇聚过程中的动力学演化和增生造山历史。南羌塘增生杂岩是近年来在西藏中部新识别出的地质单元,是解答古特提斯洋形成演化、羌塘中央隆起的成因等科学问题的重要载体,具有重要的资源和能源意义。然而,该套杂岩在大地构造属性、动力学过程、精细的俯冲带结构以及深部地质过程等方面仍存在大量未解决的问题。本文因此开展古俯冲带识别、增生杂岩物质和结构精细研究以及高压变质岩折返机制探讨等研究,以期阐明南羌塘增生杂岩的组成、结构及地质演化,为研究资源、能源成矿背景及勘查布局提供理论基础。本文研究发现,羌塘地体中部保留着相对完整的沟弧盆体系,包含陆缘弧、弧前盆地、海沟斜坡盆地、含高压变质岩增生杂岩等构造单元,证实了羌塘中部古俯冲带的存在。造山带结构解剖研究表明:南羌塘增生造山带平面上呈现为不同尺度的“糜棱结构”,体现了板块俯冲过程中广泛而强烈的韧性剪切流变作用;垂向上则具有明显的双层结构,上层为南羌塘地体的史密斯地层变形而成的褶皱冲断带,下层由多期变形的非史密斯地层组成,体现了造山过程中陆缘俯冲的重要作用。此外,带内高压变质岩变质演化具有明显的差异性,折返机制复杂、多样,体现了俯冲带复杂的深部作用过程。综上,根据目前研究资料,南羌塘增生造山带是晚泥盆世—早石炭世扩张的龙木错双湖古特提斯洋盆在二叠纪—早三叠世俯冲增生的产物,并于中—晚三叠世随着南北羌塘陆陆碰撞而定型。

Reconstruction Paleoclimate Dased on Sporopollen Record of Re'nacuo Lake,Tibet

The sedimentary sequences since 33 ka B.P. to 10 ka B.P. have been established in the Re＇nacuo-Lake, Gaize area of north Tibet, through a study of a lacustrine section. The climate since 33 ka B.P. to 10 ka B.P. may be divided into two cycle include 5 dry phases and 5 moist phases from reconstructing the paleoclimate through a study of sporopollen analysis. It mainly reflects the general regularity of global climatic change through contrasting with the pale environment in northern hemisphere. Our pollen record reveals a regional climate history similar to those from the neighboring sites, including the GISP2, the Guliya ice core and core RM in Zoige, and thus supports the notion that the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau acts as an important link between climatic events in the North Atlantic realm and the Asian monsoon domain. The response of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the global climatic change is relatively sensitive.

Distribution of glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers in Tibetan hot springs

Isoprenoidal glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers （iGDGTs） from the Gulu hot springs （23--83.6 ℃, pH 〉 7） and Yangbajing hot springs （80-128 ℃, pH 〉 7） were analyzed in order to investigate the distribution of archaeal lipids among different hot springs in Tibet. A soil sample from Gulu was incubated at different temperatures and analyzed for changes in iGDGTs to help evaluate whether surrounding soil may contribute to the iGDGTs in hot springs. The sources of bacterial GDGTs （bGDGTs） in these hot springs were also investigated. The results revealed different profiles ofiGDGTs between Gulu and Yangbajing hot springs. Core iGDGTs and polar iGDGTs also presented different patterns in each hot spring. The PCA analysis showed that the structure of polar iGDGTs can be explained by three factors and suggested multiple sources of these compounds. Bivariate correlation analysis showed significant positive correlations between polar and core bGDGTs, suggesting the in situ production of bGDGTs in the hot springs. Furthermore, in the soil incubation experiment, temperature had the most significant influence on concentration of bGDGTs rather than iGDGTs, and polar bGDGTs had greater variability than core bGDGTs with changing temperature. Our results indicated that soil input had little influence on the composition of GDGTs in Tibetan hot springs.
