Supply Coordination Based on Bonus Policy in Assembly under Uncertain Delivery Time

The existing research of supply coordination under uncertain delivery time mainly focuses on the collaboration between the supplier and the manufacturer, which aim at minimizing the total cost of each side and finding comparative optimal solutions under decentralized decision. In the supply coordination, the collaboration between suppliers in assembly system is usually not considered. As a result, the manufacturer’s production is often delayed due to mismatching delivery of components between suppliers. Therefore, to ensure supply coordination in assembly system, collaboration between suppliers should be taken into consideration. In this paper, an assembly system with two suppliers and one manufacturer under uncertain delivery time is considered. The model is established and optimal solution is given under decentralized decision. Furthermore, the cost functions of two suppliers are both convex, and a unique Nash equilibrium exists between two suppliers. Then the optimal decision under supply coordination is analyzed, which is regarded as a benchmark for supply coordination. Additionally, the total cost of the assembly system is jointly convex in agreed delivery time. To achieve supply coordination a bonus policy is explored in the assembly system under uncertain delivery time, and the total cost under bonus policy must be lower than under decentralized decision. Finally the numerical and sensitivity analysis shows the cost of assembly system under bonus policy equals that under supply coordination, and the cost of each side in assembly system under bonus policy is lower compared to that under decentralized decision. The proposed research minimizes the total cost of each side with bonus policy in assembly system, ensures the supply coordination between suppliers and the manufacturer, and improves the competiveness of the whole supply chain.

Influence of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau snow cover on interannual variability of Western North Pacific tropical cyclone tracks

We developed an adaptive optics system to correct the wave-front distortion of an intense fs laser beam from our multi-TW laser system, Jiguang II. In this paper, the instruments of the adaptive optical system are described and the experimental results of the closed-loop wave-front correction are presented. A distorted laser wave-front of 20 wavelengths of P-V values was corrected to 0.15 wavelength of P-V values. The beam quality of the laser system varies from 3.5 diffraction limit to 1.5 diffraction limit.

Photoelectric properties of thin Eu^(3+)-doped TiO_2 films sensitized by cis-RuL_2(SCN)_2·2H_2O

Thin nanocrystalline TiO2 films doped by europium ions (Eu3+) were obtained by the sol-gel method. The photoelectric properties of Eu3+-doped TiO2 film electrode sensitized by cis-RuL2(SCN)2·2H2O (L=cis-2,2′-bipyridine-4,4′-dicarboxlic acid) ruthenium complex were studied. The thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Effect of doping Eu3+ on microscopic structure and photoelectrical properties were discussed. The result shows that doping europium ions makes specific surface area of these films larger, which contributes to improving the photoelectric properties. It is found that an optimal composition doped with 0.2 mol.% Eu3+ exhibits the highest photoelectric properties. Isc is 0.37 mA·cm-2, which is 0.17 mA·cm-2 bigger than that of un-doped films; Voc is 405 mV, which is 50 mV bigger than that of un-doped films.

Interleukin 17-Producing γδ T Cells Increased in Patients with Active Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Although it has been known that γδ T cells may play an important role in the immune response to infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis （M. tb）, the mechanisms by which the γδ T cells participate in the innate and/or acquired immunity to tuberculosis （TB） have not been full elucidated. In the present study, 27 patients with active pulmonary TB and 16 healthy donors （HD） were performed. We found that proportion of IL-17-producing cells among lymphocyte was similar between TB patients and HD, whereas the proportions of γδ T cells in IL-17-producing cells （59.2%） and IL-17-producing cells in γδ T cells （19.4%） in peripheral blood were markedly increased in TB patients when compared to those in HD （43.9% and 7.7%, respectively）. In addition, the proportions of IFN-T-producing γδ T cells in TB patients were obviously lower than that in HD. Upon re-stimulated with M. tb heat-treated antigen （M. tb-HAg） in vitro, fewer IL-17-producing γδ T cells were generated from HD and TB patients, whereas IFN-T-producing γδ T cells were increased in TB patients compared to that in HD. Our findings in TB patients and healthy human were consistent with other murine investigation that the IL-17- producing γδ T cells were main source of IL-17 in mouse model of BCG infection, suggesting that γδ T cells might be involved in the formation of tubercular granuloma in pulmonary TB patients, but need further identification.

A numerical study on the circulation and tide in a zigzag bay

The Shacheng Bay （SCB） is one of the most complex coastal bays in southeast China and due to the fact of complicated geometry and dynamic coastal processes, it is considered as a challenging area for the nu- merical simulation of its hydrodynamic characteristics. The most advanced finite volume ocean model, fi- nite-volume coastal ocean model （FVCOM）, has adopted to simulate this hydrodynamic system, where tidal currents, tidal residual current and dye diffusion processes were studied and analyzed quantitatively. The validation of this numerical model matches well with various observation data, including elevation and current data. The misfit of a tidal elevation has a relative standard error of 3.66% and 4.67% for M2 and S2 tide components. The current validation shows a good match with an average error of 10 cm/s and 8° in the speed major axis and its direction respectively between the simulation and the measurement. This proves the robustness and reliability of this model. It is also found that the cape effect is significant and important in this system. The dye diffusion simulations show a 53 d flushing period for the whole inner bay waterbody. The results are of its first kind for understanding the hydrodynamic system in the SCB and they can provide helnful and trustful scientific information for others.

Reversible and irreversible heat generation of NCA/Si–C pouch cell during electrochemical energy-storage process

To meet the requirements of electronic vehicles(EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs),the high energy density Li Ni_(0.8) Co_(0.15) Al_(0.05) O_2(NCA) cathode and Si–C anode have attracted more *** we report the thermal behaviors of NCA/Si–C pouch cell during the charge/discharge processes at different current *** total heat generations are derived from the surface temperature change during electrochemical Li+insertion/extraction in adiabatic *** reversible heat is determined by the entropic coefficients,which are related with open-circuit voltage at different temperatures; while the irreversible heat is determined by the internal resistance,which can be obtained via V–I characteristic,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and hybrid pulse power characterization(HPPC).During the electrochemical process,the reversible heat contributes less than 10% to total heat generation; and the heat generated in charge process is less than that in discharge *** results of thermal behaviors analyses are conducive to understanding the safety management and paving the way for building a reliable thermal model of high energy density lithium ion battery.

Geochemistry of Heavy Oil in the T Block,Oriente Basin and its Origin Mechanism

Exploration and development experience show that there is obvious oil gravity difference between the southern part and northern part of the ＂M1＂reservoir in the Fanny oil field in the slope of the Oriente Basin, Ecuador. The American Petroleum Institute Gravity （API） values of oils in the northern part are higher than the one in the southern part of the Fanny oil field, with the values of 20° and 10.0°-13.0°, respectively. So the primary purpose of this study was to analyze the heavy oil characteristics of biodegradation and the oil-oil correlation according to the biomarker data and the δ^13C signature of oil samples from T block. The results of the hydrocarbon gas chromatography fingermark and the inversion attribute characteristics indicated that there are fluid compartments between the ＂M1＂ reservoir of Fanny south. Finally, the models of oil-gas accumulation under the control of multiple-activities of complicated fault systems, as well as the origin of heavy oil, are contended. The early stage oils from the western part of the basin were biodegraded heavily in varying degrees in the whole basin, and the later stage oils were derived from the southern part in a large scale and were mature and lighter. Generally, oil mixing is the primary control of net oil properties, such as API gravity in Oriente Basin. We therefore predicted that the API gravity variation of oil pools radically depends on the injection amount of the later stage oil. Because of the shale barrier in the ＂M1＂reservoir of Fanny south, the later stage hydrocarbon could not pass through and contribute to increase the oil API value.
