Effects of low molecular weight heparin on clot rate and activated clotting time： an in vitro study

Background Due to lack of point-of-care testing, the use of low-molecular-weight heparin （LMWH） therapy in some special patients is restricted. This study was designed to explore the effects of LMWH on clot rate （CR） and activated clotting time （ACT）, and to search for an appropriate method for bedside monitoring of anticoagulant activity of LMWH. Methods Thirty-two healthy volunteers were selected from the staff of Beijing Tongren Hospital. CR and ACT were measured with different reagents （glass beads, diatomite, kaolin and magnetic bar） on blood samples spiked with increasing concentrations of LMWH （dalteparin, 0.2-1.8 IU/ml）. Correlations between concentrations of LMWH and values of CR and ACT were analysed based on the data obtained and regression analysis was performed to establish a regression equation. Results With the increase in doses of dalteparin, CR values reduced gradually. The values of CR of four reagents （glass beads, diatomite, kaolin and magnetic bar） were 20.4-4.5 IU/min, 27.4-6.9 IU/min, 27.5-7.9 IU/min and 7.8-0.1 IU/min respectively and an linear relationship was observed between the CR values and dalteparin concentrations （P〈0.05）. The values of ACT were 173-615 seconds, 130-270 seconds, 123-226 seconds, 337-1411 seconds respectively, which showed a linear regression between the ACT values and dalteparin concentrations （P〈0.01）. Differences in slope of the regression curves of ACT were observed with all the reagents tested （glass beads 248.2 s/IU, diatomite 74.8 s/IU, kaolin 58.2 s/IU and magnetic bar 1112.2 s/IU, P〈0.01）. While the minimum concentration of dalteparin was 0.2 IU/ml, 0.4 IU/ml, 1.4 IU/ml and 0.2 IU/ml separately, the ACT values of the four coagulants （glass beads, diatomite, kaolin and magnetic bar） were beyond the normal limit and showed a noticeable increase respectively （P〈0.01）. Rebuilding the theory of isotope fractionation for evaporation of silicate melts under vacuum condition

Isotope eff ects are pivotal in understanding silicate melt evaporation and planetary accretion *** on the Hertz-Knudsen equation,the current theory often fails to predict observed isotope fractionations of laboratory experiments due to its oversimplified ***,we point out that the Hertz-Knudsen-equation-based theory is incomplete for silicate melt evaporation cases and can only be used for situations where the vaporized species is identical to the one in the *** propose a new model designed for silicate melt evaporation under *** model considers multiple steps including mass transfer,chemical reaction,and *** derivations reveal a kinetic isotopic fractionation factor(KIFF orα)αour model=[m(^(1)species)/m(^(2)species)]^(0.5),where m(species)is the mass of the reactant of reaction/nucleation-limiting step or species of diffusion-limiting step and superscript 1 and 2 represent light and heavy isotopes,*** model can eff ectively reproduce most reported KIFFs of laboratory experiments for various elements,i.e.,Mg,Si,K,Rb,Fe,Ca,and ***,the KIFF-mixing model referring that an overall rate of evaporation can be determined by two steps jointly can account for the eff ects of low P_(H2)pressure,composition,and *** addition,we find that chemical reactions,diffusion,and nucleation can control the overall rate of evaporation of silicate melts by using the fitting slope in ln(−ln f)versus ln(t).Notably,our model allows for the theoretical calculations of parameters like activation energy(E_(a)),providing a novel approach to studying compositional and environmental eff ects on evaporation processes,and shedding light on the formation and evolution of the proto-solar and Earth-Moon systems.

A Fibonacci View on the Galois NFSR Used in Trivium

Trivium is an international standard of lightweight stream ciphers(ISO/IEC 29192-3:2012).In this paper,the Trivium-like NFSRs,a class of Galois NFSRs generalized from the Galois NFSR of Trivium,are studied from the perspective of Fibonacci *** is shown that an n-stage Trivium-like NFSR cannot be equivalent to an n-stage Fibonacci NFSR,which is proved by showing the existence of“collision initial states”.As an intermediate conclusion,a necessary and sufficient condition for a kind of linear degeneracy of a Trivium-like NFSR is obtained from the persepective of interleaved ***,the smallest stage number of a Fibonacci NFSR that can generate all the output sequences of an n-stage Trivium-like NFSR is shown to be greater than n-7 and this value is no less than 371=287+min{93,84,111}specifically for the 288-stage Galois NFSR used in *** results contradict the existence of a equivalent Fibonacci model of Trivium NFSR of small stage,which implies that Trivium algorithm possesses a fair degree of immunity against“structure attack”.

In this paper,a novel adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control(FTC)strategy is proposed for non-minimum phase Hypersonic Vehicles(HSVs)that are affected by actuator faults and parameter *** strategy is based on the output redefinition method and Adaptive Dynamic Programming(ADP).The intelligent FTC scheme consists of two main parts:a basic fault-tolerant and stable controller and an ADP-based supplementary *** the basic FTC part,an output redefinition approach is designed to make zero-dynamics stable with respect to the new ***,Ideal Internal Dynamic(IID)is obtained using an optimal bounded inversion approach,and a tracking controller is designed for the new output to realize output tracking of the nonminimum phase HSV *** the ADP-based compensation control part,an ActionDependent Heuristic Dynamic Programming(ADHDP)adopting an actor-critic learning structure is utilized to further optimize the tracking performance of the HSV control ***,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed FTC algorithm.

Total knee arthroplasty （TKA） is an effective treatment for severe knee arthritis. However, TKA is more challenging when that arthritis is associated with femoral deformity that has resulted in irregularity of the canal and variation in anatomic landmarks. In such cases, it is difficult to restore the mechanical alignment of the lower limb using intramedullary instruments.

State-sensitive convolutional sparse coding for potential biomarker identification in brain signals

The identification of prototypical waveforms, such as sleep spindles and epileptic spikes, is crucial for the diagnosis of neurological disorders. These prototypical waveforms are usually recurrently presented in certain brain states, serving as potential biomarkers for clinical evaluations. Convolutional sparse coding(CSC) approaches have demonstrated strength in identifying recurrent patterns in time-series. However,existing CSC approaches do not explicitly explore state-specific patterns, making it difficult to identify state-related biomarkers. To address this problem, we propose state-sensitive CSC to learn state-specific prototypical waveforms. Specifically, we model signals of a certain state with specific waveforms that only appear frequently in this state and background waveforms that are independent of states. Based on this,state-sensitive CSC separates state-specific waveforms from background ones explicitly by incorporating incoherence constraints into optimizations. Experiments with epilepsy brain signals demonstrate that our approach can effectively identify prototypical waveforms in pre-ictal states, providing potential biomarkers for seizure prediction. Our approach provides a promising tool for automatic biomarker candidate identification.

Quaternion-Based Adaptive Trajectory Tracking Control of a Rotor-Missile with Unknown Parameters Identification

This paper investigates the adaptive trajectory tracking control problem and the unknown parameter identification problem of a class of rotor-missiles with parametric system ***,considering the uncertainty of structural and aerodynamic parameters,the six-degree-of-freedom(6Do F) nonlinear equations describing the position and attitude dynamics of the rotor-missile are established,respectively,in the inertial and body-fixed reference ***,a hierarchical adaptive trajectory tracking controller that can guarantee closed-loop stability is proposed according to the cascade characteristics of the 6Do F ***,a memory-augmented update rule of unknown parameters is proposed by integrating all historical data of the regression *** long as the finitely excited condition is satisfied,the precise identification of unknown parameters can be ***,the validity of the proposed trajectory tracking controller and the parameter identification method is proved through Lyapunov stability theory and numerical simulations.

The early diagnosis of cancer is vital for effective treatment and improved prognosis. Tumor biomarkers, which can be used for the early diagnosis, treatment, and prognostic evaluation of cancer, have emerged as a topic of intense research interest in recent years. Nucleic acid, as a type of tumor biomarker, contains vital genetic information, which is of great significance for the occurrence and development of cancer. Currently, living cell nucleic acid probes, which enable the in situ imaging and dynamic monitoring of nucleic acids, have become a rapidly developing field. This review focuses on living cell nucleic acid probes that can be used for the early diagnosis of tumors. We describe the fundamental design of the probe in terms of three units and focus on the roles of different nanomaterials in probe delivery.
