The title compound was synthesized and characterized by IR, ^1H NMR, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Its biological activities were also tested. The results show that the title compound reveals inhibiting activities towards wheat gibberellin, apple ringspot, tomato early blight, peanut cercospora arachidicola and stem wilt of asparagus.

1,2,4-Triazole derivatives represent an interesting class of heterocyclic compounds and have become the most with rapidly expanding group of antifungal compounds the advantages of toxicity, high oral bioavailability, and broad spectrum of activity against several fun- gi, including most yeasts and folanentous fungi . The triazole fungicides are agrochemicals that are used world wide in the agricultural industry because of their wide spectrum of action, A variety of benzotriazoles exhibit growth-inhibiting activities against some microorganisms and other derivatives possessing anti-inflammatory properties.

Lots of work has been done to investigate slab surface microstructure evolution during continuous casting in order to improve hot ductility and avoid transverse *** slab surface microstructure after continuous casting was characterized by optical microscopy,and the precipitation behavior was investigated by transmission electron *** the same time,the mechanical properties of the slabs were measured using a Gleeble 1500 Dthermal simulator and the transformation temperatures were examined by means of a thermal *** experimental results show that homogeneous microstructure without film-like ferrites and chain-like precipitates at grain boundary can be obtained through surface intensive cooling and transverse cracks do not occur on the slab *** the experimental steel,fine ferrite can form at slab surface when the water flow rate is larger than 1560L/min at vertical *** the distance to surface increases,microstructure turned to ferrite and ***,nano-size carbonitrides precipitated in the ferrite grain and the size was larger at the junction of the *** mechanical experiment results show that the hot ductility of the sample deformed at 650°C was better than that of the sample deformed at 750°*** reason is that filmlike ferrite formed at the grain boundary in the sample deformed at 750°***,the slab must be cooled quickly below Ar3 to prevent the occurrence of film-like ferrite and transverse cracks on the slab surface during casting.

The geometry structures of 6 triazolone compounds containing benzenesulfonic amide were fully optimized with DFT （Density Functional Theory） method at the B3LYP/6-31G level, and the structural and electronic parameters of the compounds were calculated. The hydrophobic and topological parameters of the title compounds were calculated by HyperChem software. The mono- and bi-parametric models between the parameters and biological activity of the compounds were analyzed by Multiple linear Regression method based on Hansch-Fujita model. The results show that the activities of the title compounds were increased with higher hydrophobic property logP and molecular volume V, lower molecular energy ETOTAL and electronegative of benzene ring Qph.

Isatis indigotica Fort., belonging to Cruciferae, is one of the most commonly used plants in traditional Chinese medicine. The accumulation of the effective components of I. indigotica is related with its growth conditions. The GRAS genes are members of a multigene family of transcriptional regulators that play a crucial role in plant growth. Although the activities of many GRAS genes have long been recognized, only in recent years were some of them identified and functionally characterized in detail. In the present study, 41 GRAS genes were identified from 1. indigotica through bioinformatics methods for the first time. They were classified into ten groups according to the classification of Arabidopsis and rice. The characterization, gene structure, conserved motifs, disordered N-terminal domains, and phylogenetic reconstruction of these GRASs were analyzed. Forty-three orthologous gene pairs were shared by I. indigotica and Arabidopsis, and interaction networks of these orthologous genes were constructed. Furthermore, gene expression patterns were investigated by analysis in methyl jasmonate （MeJA）-treated I. indigotica hairy roots based on RNA-seq data. In conclusion, this comprehensive analysis would provide rich resources for further studies of GRAS protein functions in this plant.

Heart valve disease in elderly Chinese population： effect of advanced age and comorbidities on treatment decision-making and outcomes

Background A considerable proportion of elderly patients with symptomatic severe heart valve disease are treated conservatively de- spite clear indications for surgical intervention. However, little is known about how advanced age and comorbidities affect treatment deci-sion-making and therapeutic outcomes. Methods Patients （n = 234, mean age： 78.5 ± 3.7 years） with symptomatic severe heart valve dis- ease hospitalized in our center were included. One hundred and fifty-one patients （65%） were treated surgically （surgical group） and 83 （35%） were treated conservatively （conservative group）. Factors that affected therapeutic decision-making and treatment outcomes were investi- gated and long-term survival was explored. Results Isolated aortic valve disease, female sex, chronic renal insufficiency, aged _〉 80 years, pneumonia, and emergent status were independent factors associated with therapeutic decision-making. In-hospital mortality for the surgical group was 5.3% （8/151）. Three patients （3.6%） in the conservative group died during initial hospitalization. Low cardiac output syndrome and chronic renal insufficiency were identified as predictors of in-hospital mortality in the surgical group. Conservative treatment was identi- fied as the single risk factor for late death in the entire study population. The surgical group had better 5-year （77.2% vs. 45.4%, P 〈 0.0001） and 10-year （34.5% vs. 8.9%, P 〈 0.0001） survival rates than the conservative group, even when adjusted by propensity score-matched analysis. Conclusions Advanced age and geriatric comorbidities profoundly affect treatment decision-making for severe heart valve disease. Valve surgery in the elderly was not only safe but was also associated with good long-term survival while conservative treatment was unfavorable for patients with symptomatic severe valve disease.

Two new steroidal saponins, diuranthosides D and E, were isolated from the whole plant of Diuranthera inarticulata wang et K. Y. Lang. By means of spectral and chemical analysis, the structure of the new compounds were established as neotigogenin-3-O-(-D-glucopyranosyl (1?3)-(-D-xylopyranosyl-(1?3)-[(-D-glucopyranosyl(1?2)]-(-D-glucopyranosyl(1?4)-(-D-galactopyranoside (1) and neotigogenin-3-O-(-D-glucopyranosyl(1?3)-(-D-glucopyranosyl (1?3)-(-D-xylopyranosyl(1?3)-[(-D-glucopyranosyl(1?2)]-(-D-glucopyranosyl(1?4)-(-D-galactopyranoside (2) respectively.

The mesomechanics of geotechnical materials are closely related to the macromechanical properties,especially the mesoscale evolution of shear bands,which is helpful for understanding the failure mechanism of geotechnical ***,there is lack of effective quantitative analysis method for the complex evolution mechanism of threedimensional shear *** this work,we used X-ray computed tomography(CT)to reconstruct volume images and used the digital volume correlation(DVC)method to calculate the three-dimensional strain fields of granite residual soil samples at different loading *** trend of the failure surface of the shear bands was obtained by the planar fitting method,and the connectivity index was constructed according to the projection characteristics of the shear bands on the failure trend *** results support the following findings:the connectivity index of the shear band increases rapidly and then slowly with increasing axial strain,which is characterized by a near'S'*** the stress reaches the peak value,the connectivity index of the shear bands almost exceeds *** contribution of the new shear band volume to the connectivity of the shear bands becomes increasingly small with increasing axial *** by quartz grains and stress at the initial stage,the dip angle gradually and finally approaches the included angle of the maximum shear stress from the discrete state with increasing axial *** tendency and dip angle of the resulting shear bands are dynamic,and the tendency slightly deflects with increasing loading.

Electrochemical nitrate reduction to NH_(3)holds a great promise for N-upcycling in nature,while its sluggish reaction kinetics involved in both the stepwise deoxygenation and hydrogenation processes necessitates the development of bespoke catalysts with multi-site ***,we report a hybrid catalyst composed of rare-earth(RE)yttrium(Y)single atoms and copper phosphide(Cu_(3)P)nanoparticles loaded on N,P-doped carbon(Y_(SA)-Cu_(3)P/CNP)through a chelating and pyrolysis *** to a synergistic contribution of Y single atoms and Cu_(3)P nanoparticles,Y_(SA)-Cu_(3)P/CNP achieves an impressive NH_(3)Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 92%at-0.5V(***)and the highest NH_(3)yield rate of11.4 mg·h^(-1)·cm^(-2)at-0.6 V(***)in an alkaline media,which surpass most of the reported *** intricate reaction pathway has been explored by online differential electrochemical mass spectrometry(DEMS),and the synergistic effect between Y single atoms and Cu_(3)P nanoparticles has been studied by in situ synchrotron X-ray absorption ***,density-functional theory(DFT)calculations unveil that the high-efficiency nitrate reduction on Y_(SA)-Cu_(3)P/CNP is attributed to a reduced energy barrier of the rate-determining deoxygenation step coupled with the enhanced stabilization of active hydrogen favorable for the hydrogenation steps,thereby boosting the overall reaction *** addition,a prototype Zn-nitrate battery utilizing Y_(SA)-Cu_(3)P/CNP as the cathode is *** work not only elucidates the mechanism behind the enhanced catalytic performance but also paves the way for the future development of highefficiency electrocatalysts through dual-site engineering.
