＜正＞The structure and electrical properties of CVD-w films on various PVD or MOCVD TiN films have been *** growth orientations of the TiN adhesion layers were controlled by deposition method and film *** growth orientations of CVD-w films were found to depend strongly on the microstructures of TiN. The grain sizes and electrical resistivity of CVD-w were found to increase and decrease,respectively,with the grain sizes of underlying TiN layers.

we investigated the emission properties of Eu3+-doped GdNbO4-based oxide phosphors,aiming at improving the Eu3+emission by codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Eu3+singly doped,Eu3+and Bi3+doubly doped,and Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+triply doped GdNbO4were prepared using a high-temperature solid-state reaction *** red-orange emissions from Eu3+in the singly doped samples are significantly improved by the codoping of Bi3+,mainly due to the energy transfer from Bi3+to Eu3+.The additional codoping of Li+is found to increase the Eu3+emission *** improvement might be attributed to the increase in the photoluminescent quantum yield originating from larger grain sizes and better crystallinity.A detailed analysis of the X-ray diffraction pattern and the asymmetric ratio estimated from the photoluminescence spectra show that the local lattice environment around Eu3+in GdNbO4does not change significantly with the codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Our results indicate that Li+doping is a promising way to improve the emission properties of rare-earth ion-doped GdNbO4phosphors.

BACKGROUND Retroperitoneal high-grade serous carcinoma(HGSC)of unknown origin is a sporadic tumor that can originate from ovarian ***,we report the case of a woman with retroperitoneal HGSC of unknown origin and describe how she was diagnosed and *** SUMMARy A 71-year-old female presented with the tumor marker CA125 elevated to 1041.9 U/mL upon a regular health *** tomography revealed retroperitoneal lymph node ***,positron emission tomography scanning revealed lesions with increased F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose uptake at the *** a result,she underwent laparoscopic lymph node resection,and pathology revealed metastatic adenocarcinoma with CK7(+),PAX8(+),wT1(+),PR(-),and p53 mutational loss of expression,indicating that the origin may be from the *** patient was admitted to our ward and underwent laparoscopic staging;however,the pathological results were *** the suspicion of retroperitoneal HGSC of unknown origin,chemotherapy and targeted therapy were *** marker levels decreased after *** we present a case of HGSC of unknown origin managed using retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy,staging surgery,chemotherapy,and targeted therapy.

Antimicrobial resistance(AMR)has become a global health crisis in need of novel *** this end,antibiotic combination therapies,which combine multiple antibiotics for treatment,have at-tracted significant attention as a potential approach for combating *** facilitate advances in anti-biotic combination therapies,most notably in investigating antibiotic interactions and identifying synergistic antibiotic combinations however,there remains a need for automated high-throughput plat-forms that can create and examine antibiotic combinations on-demand,at scale,and with minimal reagent *** address these challenges,we have developed a Robotic-Printed Combinatorial Droplet(RoboDrop)platform by integrating a programmable droplet microfuidic device that generates antibiotic combinations in nanoliter droplets in automation,a robotic arm that arranges the droplets in an array,and a camera that images the array of thousands of droplets in *** further implement a resazurin-based bacterial viability assay to accelerate our antibiotic combination *** a demonstration,we use RoboDrop to corroborate two pairs of antibiotics with known interactions and subsequently identify a new synergistic combination of cefsulodin,penicillin,and oxacillin against a model *** *** therefore envision RoboDrop becoming a useful tool to efficiently identify new synergistic antibiotic combinations toward combating AMR.

Ni_(47)Ti_(44)Nb_(9)shape memory alloy(SMA)is a promising material in the aerospace field due to its wide transformation *** application of shape memory effect depends on multistep thermomechan-ical loading,viz.,low-temperature deformation and subsequent heating to ***-temperature deformation prestrain plays a pivotal role in shape memory properties tailoring of SMA ***,microstructure evolution and deformation mechanisms of Ni_(47)Ti_(44)Nb_(9)SMA subjected to vari-ous prestrain levels are still *** this end,microstructure evolution and shape memory behaviors of Ni_(47)Ti_(44)Nb_(9)alloy subjected to multistep thermomechanical loading with prestrain levels of 8%-16%at-28℃(M_(s)+30℃)were *** results demonstrate that the stress-strain curve of the specimen exhibits four distinct stages at a maximal prestrain of 16%.whereas stageⅡand stageⅢend at prestrains of∼8%and∼12%,*** stageⅡ,the stress-induced martensitic transformation is accompanied by the dislocation slip of the NiTi matrix andβ-Nb *** stageⅢ,in addition to the higher density of dislocations and further growth of stress-induced martensite variants(SIMVs),(001)compound twins are introduced as a result of the(001)deformation twinning in stress-induced ***{20-1}martensite twins are gradually introduced in stageⅣ.Correspondingly,after subsequent unloading and heating,a higher density of{114}austenite twins form in the specimen with a larger prestrain of 16%.with increasing prestrain from 8%to 16%,the recoverable strainε_(re)^(T)upon heating increases first and then ***ε_(re)^(T)obtains a maximum of 7.03%at 10%prestrain and de-creases to 6.17%at 16%*** increase ofε_(re)^(T)can be attributed to the formation of new SIMVs,the further growth of existing SIMVs,and the recoverable(001)compound *** the decrease ofε_(re)^(T)is mainly associated with the irrecoverable strain by{20−1}martensite *** effe

The Brown-Preston-Singleton(BPS)stopping power model is added to our previously developed hybrid code to model ion beam-plasma *** simulations show that both resistive field and ion scattering effects are important for proton beam transport in a solid target,in which they compete with each *** the target is not completely ionized,the self-generated resistive field effect dominates over the ion scattering ***,when the target is completely ionized,this situation is ***,it is found that Ohmic heating is important for higher current densities and materials with high *** energy fraction deposited as Ohmic heating can be as high as 20%-30%.Typical ion divergences with half-angles of about 5°-10°will modify the proton energy deposition substantially and should be taken into account.
