Ordered mesoporous materials have received great attention due to their well-defined pore structures and potential applications in catalysis,adsorption,separation,drug delivery,*** various compositions of mesoporous solids have been successfully prepared,the preparation of crystalline non-metallic oxyacid salts with ordered mesoporosity remains a major ***,we report the synthesis of a mesoporous solid acid crystalline boron phosphate(BPO_(4))catalyst with a bicontinuous shifted double diamond(SDD)hyperbolic surface *** BPO_(4) scaffold was obtained by synergistic selfassembly in a mixed solvent of water and tetrahydrofuran using the diblock copolymer poly(ethylene oxide)-block-polystyrene as template and phosphoric acid and orthoboric acid as inorganic *** structure consists of two sets of diamond networks adjacent to each other with a mesostructural scale tetragonal symmetry(space group I4_(1)/amd)with unit cell parameters of a=80 nm and c=113 nm,which affords the scaffold a specific surface area of 44 m^(2)/*** a solid acid catalytic material,the SDD BPO_(4) scaffold exhibited excellent catalytic activity at room temperature with a conversion of furfural to 2-(dimethoxymethyl)furan over 70%and can be reused after recovery without serious loss of *** the propane oxidative dehydrogenation reaction,SDD BPO_(4) demonstrated high olefin productivity and selectivity while maintaining high reaction *** study provides ideas for the preparation of ordered mesoporous crystalline catalytic materials and demonstrates their potential for practical applications.

High quantum yield yellow emission carbon dots for the construction of blue light blocking films

white light illumination is essential in daily life, however, the substantial amount of blue light it contains can damage human eyes. Therefore, it is important to block this high-energy blue light to protect visual health. In this study, yellow-emitting carbon dots(CDs) with a quantum yield exceeding 94% were synthesized using citric acid and urea. These CDs effectively absorb blue light. By incorporating them into polystyrene, multiple films termed CDs-based blue light blocking films(CBFs) were developed, each offering different levels of blue light absorption. These CBFs exhibited excellent transparency and efficient blue light filtering capabilities. This study highlights the potential of high quantum yield CDs, which specifically absorb blue light, as foundational materials for developing light-blocking solutions against highenergy short-wavelength light.

The controlled oxidation states of the H4PMo11VO40 catalyst induced by plasma for the selective oxidation of methacrolein

In this paper,low-temperature dielectric-blocked discharge plasma （DBD） was employed for the first time to treat silica-doped H4PMo11VO40（HPAV） catalysts (DBD（Ar/x）-MF-Catal) and apply them in the catalytic methacrolein （MAL） selective oxidation to produce methacrylic acid （MAA）.This work investigates in detail the controllable regulation of the concentration of oxidation states on silica-doped HPAV catalysts by adjusting the DBD discharge with controlled changes in voltage,current,treatment time,and treatment *** reports the intrinsic correlation between oxidation states and MAL oxidation *** research results indicated that the catalytic performance was related to the presence of oxygen vacancies and oxygen species (VO2+),and are the main reason for the selective oxidation of MAL to ***,the generation of oxygen vacancies and VO2+altered localized electrons,which resulted in the easier activation of *** calculations of DFT also proved the formation mechanism of oxygen vacancies and VO2+and electron properties on high-performance polymers,which elucidated the intrinsic influence of catalyst *** DBD（Ar/10）-MF-Catal catalysts with suitable VO2+and oxygen vacancy concentrations exhibited the highest catalytic performance with 90%MAL conversion and 70%MAA selectivity and showed good stability （500 h）.

Deformation energy of tectonic coal under hydrostatic conditions:A new calculation model based on critical state theory

Synthesis and Photochromism of Diazocine Derivatives:Relationship Between Photoswitching Properties and Molecular Structures

we design and synthesize five novel diazocine derivatives,using diazocine as the core,amide or imine bonds as the connecting units attached with different peripheral *** photoisomerization yield and thermal stability of these derivatives are tested by^(1)H NMR and UV-Vis absorption *** them,the imine-linked derivative exhibits the lowest photoisomerization efficiency,while the amide-linked ones show an elevated switching efficiency in transitioning from the cis to the trans configuration,compared to the unmodified 3,3′-***,based on experiments together with density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we find that the thermal stability of these derivatives is associated with the electron cloud density and steric hindrance of their *** to these unique photophysical properties,diazocine derivatives provide a foundation for the development and application of molecular optical switches.

Factor-adjusted tests for generalized linear models with multimodal data:An application to breast cancer data

with the advancement of modern scientific research,multimodal data is increasingly being collected from multiple sources or *** outcomes derived from generalized linear models with high-dimensional and multimodal covariates,we develop two distinct factor-adjusted tests to assess the significance of high-dimensional modality data and specific low-dimensional linear combinations of predictors from one or more modalities,***,we propose a factor-adjusted decorrelated score test to evaluate the significance of a single *** approach simultaneously transforms a high-dimensional test into a fixed low-dimensional one while addressing the impact of high-dimensional nuisance ***,we construct a factor-adjusted wald test based on partial penalized estimation to assess the significance of certain low-dimensional combinations of variables from one or more *** limiting distributions of these two proposed tests are analyzed under both the null hypothesis and local alternatives to characterize the asymptotic type-I errors and *** finite sample performance of our proposed tests is evaluated through simulations and further demonstrated with a breast cancer dataset.

Environmental Inequality in China’s Urban Expansion:A Case Study of Guangzhou,China

Environmental inequality is a prevalent issue in developing countries undergoing urban *** expansion induces the formation and evolution of environmental inequality by creating environmental and structural conditions that lead to the spatial relocation of environmental hazards and the socio-spatial segregation of different groups in developing *** study investigated the spatial patterns and temporal trends of environmental inequality under urban expansion in Guangzhou,a megacity in *** considered how environmental disparities and socio-demographic attributes interact in terms of industrial pollution exposure using additive semiparametric quantile regression,combined with spatial visualisation,on the basis of the economic and population census data from 1990 to *** study revealed that urban expansion sparked the spatial displacement of environmental risks and the social-spatial differentiation,exposing the peripheral regions and disadvantaged groups to higher environmental risks.A reciprocal transformation occurred between central and peripheral regions,as well as a process of redistributing environmental risks across social *** the context of urban expansion in developing countries,the causes of environmental inequality shifted from individual socio-economic differences to structural factors,such as industrial layout and social division of labour in cities,leading to the spatial displacement and concealment of environmental *** study provides insights and guidance for policymakers to address the issue of environmental inequality in the context of urban expansion.

Arsenic exposure and oxidative damage to lipid,DNA,and protein among general Chinese adults:A repeated-measures cross-sectional and longitudinal study

Arsenic-related oxidative stress and resultant diseases have attracted global concern,while longitudinal studies are *** assess the relationship between arsenic exposure and systemic oxidative damage,we performed two repeatedmeasures among 5236 observations(4067 participants)in thewuhan-Zhuhai cohort at the baseline and follow-up after 3 *** total arsenic,biomarkers of DNA oxidative damage(8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine(8-OHdG)),lipid peroxidation(8-isoprostaglandin F2alpha(8-isoPGF2α)),and protein oxidative damage(protein carbonyls(PCO))were detected for all *** we used linearmixed models to estimate the cross-sectional and longitudinal associations between arsenic exposure and oxidative ***-response curves were constructed by utilizing the generalized additive mixed models with thin plate *** adjusting for potential confounders,arsenic level was significantly and positively related to the levels of global oxidative damage and their annual increased rates in dose-response *** cross-sectional analyses,each 1%increase in arsenic levelwas associated with a 0.406%(95%confidence interval(CI):0.379%to 0.433%),0.360%(0.301%to 0.420%),and 0.079%(0.055%to 0.103%)increase in 8-isoPGF2α,8-OHdG,and PCO,*** importantly,arsenic was further found to be associated with increased annual change rates of 8-isoPGF2α(β:0.147;95%CI:0.130 to 0.164),8-OHdG(0.155;0.118 to 0.192),and PCO(0.050;0.035 to 0.064)in the longitudinal *** study suggested that arsenic exposurewas not only positively related with global oxidative damage to lipid,DNA,and protein in cross-sectional analyses,but also associated with annual increased rates of these biomarkers in dose-dependent manners.

Insect herbivory is ubiquitous in various ecosystems,and directly influences the growth and survival of individual plants,especially during their vulnerable early life stages like the seedling ***,in turn,exerts a significant influence on forest community diversity and structure,as well as ecosystem function and *** variation in herbivory has been detected both among and within plant *** decades,many hypotheses have been proposed to explain such variations,including both biotic and abiotic ***,most studies have considered only one or several of these hypotheses by focusing on a few potential variables,and their results were usually inconsistent;thus,the factors driving herbivory remain *** this study,we examined leaf herbivory by insects of woody species seedlings in a subtropical forest in southwestern China over two *** total,24 potential variables that represented abiotic resource availability,characters of individual seedlings,conspecific and heterospecific species,and the whole seedling community were selected to test several commonly discussed alternative herbivory ***,our findings showed that the plant apparency hypothesis was more supported than the other hypotheses in explaining insect seedling *** results further indicated that the mechanisms and causes of insect herbivory are complex,multifactorial,species-specific and vary with seasons,indicating that there may be no uniform rules in explaining herbivory for all ***,such complexity may play an important role in promoting species coexistence and biodiversity maintenance in seedling communities,which may further translate into the following generation of saplings or even adult *** in the community of insect herbivores and/or variables influencing insect herbivory,may disrupt stability of the original seedling community,thus affecting the regeneration and development of the entire forest comm
