The superplastic behavior and associated deformation mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of the BCCβphase and a small amount of the HCPαphase,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of this alloy was achieved by employing high-ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was achieved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where tensile elongations of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding stage of the tensile samples prior to tensile loading,a significant increase in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider this effect when analyzing and understanding the superplastic deformation behavior and *** the investigated strain rate range,the superplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,while at high strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was the rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded that solute drag creep is unlikely to *** the late stages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed that grain boundary sliding led to the agglomeration of theαphase,resulting in significant strain *** mechanism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in the form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate,stress,temperature,and grain size,using the constitutive equations for various deformation mechanisms derived based on the data of the current tests.

Multi-metal hydroxides possess unique physical and chemical properties,making them promising candidates for supercapacitor working *** their electrochemical performance can be achieved through a combination with carbon *** this study,we synthesized a composite material by hydrothermally dispersed 4,6,and 10 wt%carbon nanotubes(CNT)into ternary cobaltbismuth-samarium hydroxide(CoBiSm-TOH).These nanocomposites were employed as the material for the working electrode in a *** findings reveal that at 1.5 A/g,the specific capacitance of CNT3@CoBiSm-TOH,using a three-electrode system,was found to be 852.91 F/g,higher than that of CoBi-BOH,CoBiSm-TOH,CNT1@CoBiSm-TOH and CNT5@CoBiSm-TOH-measuring 699.69,750.34,789.54 and 817.79 F/g,***,CNT3@CoBiSm-TOH electrodes exhibited a capacitance retention of around 88%over 10,000 *** demonstrate practical applicability,CNT3@CoBiSm-TOH was grown on woven carbon fiber(wCF),and a solid-state supercapacitor device was developed using the VARTM(vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding).This device displayed a specific capacitance of 272.67 F/g at 2.25 A/***,it achieved a maximum energy density of 53.01 wh/kg at a power density of 750 w/kg and sustained excellent cycle stability over 50,000 cycles,maintaining 70%of its initial *** results underscore the importance of interfacial nanoengineering and provide crucial insights for the development of future energy storage devices.

This paper developed a new method that adaptively adjusts a design space by considering the actual solution distribution of a problem to overcome the conventional design-space adaptation method that assumes the solutions distribution to be a normal distribution because the distributions of solutions are rarely normal distributions for real-world *** developed method was applied to nineteen multiobjective test functions that are widely used to evaluate the characteristics and performance of optimization *** results showed that this method adapted the design space to an appropriate design space where the solution existence probability was *** optimization performance achieved using the developed method was higher than that of the conventional ***,the developed method was applied to the conceptual design of an unmanned spacecraft to confirm its validity in real-world design and multidisciplinaryoptimization *** results showed that the Pareto solutions of the developed method were superior to those of conventional ***,the optimization efficiency with the developed method was improved by more than 1.4 times over that of the conventional *** this regard,the developed method has the potential to be applied to complicated real-world optimization problems to achieve better performance and efficiency.

NaA zeolite(Si/Al=1.00)has been commercially applied for capturing radioactive 90Sr^(2+)because of its high surface charge density,effectively stabilizing the multivalent ***,owing to its narrow micropore opening(4.0Å),large micron-sized crystallites,and bulkiness of hydrated Sr^(2+),the Sr^(2+)exchange over NaA has been limited by very slow *** this study,we synthesized nanocrystalline low-silica X by minimizing a water content in a synthesis gel and utilizing a methyl cellulose hydrogel as a crystal growth *** resulting zeolite exhibited high crystallinity and Al-rich framework(Si/Al of approximately 1.00)with the sole presence of tetrahedral Al sites,which are capable of high Sr^(2+)uptake and ion ***,the zeolite with a FAU topology has a much larger micropore opening size(7.4Å)and a much smaller crystallite size(~340 nm)than NaA,which enable significantly enhanced ion-exchange *** to conventional NaA,the nanocrystalline low-silica X exhibited remarkably increased Sr^(2+)-exchange kinetics(>18-fold larger rate constant)in batch *** both the nanocrystalline low-silica X and NaA exhibited comparable Sr^(2+)capacities under equilibrated conditions,the former demonstrated a 5.5-fold larger breakthrough volume than NaA under dynamic conditions,attributed to its significantly faster Sr^(2+)-exchange kinetics.

This study was performed to investigate the learning curve of transurethral enucleation with bipolar energy(TUEB)for benignprostatic *** study involved 494 consecutive patients who underwent TUEB for benign prostatic hyperplasia fromAugust 2018 to March 2022 by one surgeon(SJJ,Seoul National University Bundang Hospital,Seongnam,Korea).The patientswere followed up at 1 week,1 month,3 months,and 6 months *** evaluate the learning curve of TUEB,perioperativeparameters including the enucleation ratio(enucleated tissue weight/transitional zone volume),TUEB efficiency(enucleatedtissue weight/operation time),and enucleation efficiency(enucleated tissue weight/enucleation time)were *** and postoperative complications were also assessed,including the International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),IPSSquality-of-life(QoL)score,and uroflowmetry *** patients’median age was 72(interquartile range[IQR]:66–78)years,and the estimated prostate volume and transitional zone volume were 63.0(IQR:46.0–90.6)ml and 37.1(IQR:24.0–60.0)ml,*** enucleation ratio,TUEB efficiency,and enucleation efficiency were 0.60(IQR:0.46–0.54)g ml−1,0.33(IQR:0.22–0.46)g min−1,and 0.50(IQR:0.35–0.72)g min−1,respectively,plateauing after 70 *** functional outcomes,including total IPSS,IPSS QoL score,and uroflowmetry outcomes,significantly improved at 6 months after TUEB(all Pwithout significant differences over the learning ***-five(13.2%)patients developed complications after TUEB,21.5%of whom experienced major complications(Clavien–Dindo grade≥3).The rate of major complications declined as the number ofTUEB cases increased(P=0.013).Our results suggest that the efficiency of TUEB stabilized within 70 procedures.

AIM:To investigate the association between juvenile open angle glaucoma(JOAg)and mental health among ***:This study used nationally representative data from the 8th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(KNHANES)*** diagnosis followed the International Society of geographical and Epidemiological Ophthalmology criteria based on glaucomatous structural defects,visual field defects,corrected vision,and intraocular *** outcomes,suicidal behaviors,psychiatric counseling,and depression were evaluated through mental health *** ratios(ORs)with 95%confidence intervals(CIs)were estimated using logistic regression models,adjusting for ***:Among 7090 participants,3446 met the inclusion criteria for analysis,and 88(2.6%)were diagnosed with open angle glaucoma(OAg).After adjusting for age,sex,and best-corrected visual acuity(VA),participants with OAg were revealed to have significantly higher odds of suicidal behaviors(i.e.,ideation,planning,or attempts)compared with those without OAg(OR:2.70;95%CI:1.12-6.54;P=0.028).This association remained significant after further adjustments for socioeconomic status,lifestyle factors,and presence of chronic conditions(P=0.031 and 0.035,respectively).However,there was no significant difference for the other two outcomes,psychiatric counseling and *** age-stratified analysis revealed a stronger association between OAg and suicidal behaviors in younger JOAg participants(g participants(≥40y;OR:3.80 vs 2.22;95%CI:0.79-18.22 vs 0.56-8.80,respectively).CONCLUSION:OAg patients show a higher risk of suicidal behaviors than those without glaucoma particularly in JOAg patients.

Mutualistic interactions between marine phototrophs and associated bacteria are an important strategy for their success-ful survival in the ocean,but little is known about their metabolic ***,bacterial communities in the algal sphere(AS)and bulk solution(BS)of nine marine red algal cultures were analyzed,and Roseibium and Phycisphaera were identified significantly more abundantly in AS than in *** metabolic features of Roseibium RMAR6-6(isolated and genome-sequenced),Phycisphaera MAg 12(obtained by metagenomic sequencing),and a marine red alga,Porphyridium purpureum CCMP1328(from genBank),were analyzed ***6-6 has the genetic capability to fix nitrogen and produce B vitamins(B1,B2,B5,B6,B9,and B12),bacterioferritin,dimethylsulfoniopropionate(DMSP),and phenylacetate that may enhance algal growth,whereas MAg 12 may have a limited metabolic capability,not producing vitamins B9 and B12,DMSP,phenylacetate,and siderophores,but with the ability to produce bacitracin,possibly modulating algal *** CCMP1328 lacks the genetic capability to fix nitrogen and produce vitamin B12,DMSP,phenylacetate,and *** was shown that the nitrogen-fixing ability of RMAR6-6 promoted the growth of ***-pureum,and DMSP reduced the oxidative stress of *** metabolic interactions between strain RMAR6-6 and *** CCMP1328 were also investigated by the transcriptomic analyses of their monoculture and *** together,potential metabolic relationships between Roseibium and *** were *** study provides a bet-ter understanding of the metabolic relationships between marine algae and algae-associated bacteria for successful growth.
