Formation of the dislocation hoe zone(DFZ),and initiation and propagation of microcracks have been investigated by in situ transmission electron microscope(TEM)tensile test for NiAlFe *** TEM foils are strained,a great number of dislocations are found to emit from a crack tip during microcrack propagation and drive out of the crack tip area,leaving behind a *** maximum normal stress exists in the DFZ, thus nanocracks initiate discontinuously ahead of the crack tip in the highly stressed DFZ. connection of the main crack and nanocracks results in steady propagation of *** fracture and bluntness of the crack tip indicate that propagation of the crack is a leaping process. The second phase in the NiAlFe alloy obstructs propagation of the crack, which results in deviation of the crack path.

Background:Oral anti-coagulants(OAc)are the intervention for the prevention of stroke,which consistently improve clinical outcomes and survival among patients with atrial fibrillation(AF).The main purpose of this study is to identify problems in OAc utilization among hospitalized patients with AF in ***:Using data from the Improving care for cardiovascular Disease in china-Atrial Fibrillation(ccc-AF)registry,guideline-recommended OAc use in eligible patients was ***:A total of 52,530 patients with non-valvular AF were enrolled from February 2015 to December 2019,of whom 38,203 were at a high risk of stroke,9717 were at a moderate risk,and 4610 were at a low *** admission,only 20.0%(6075/30,420)of patients with a diagnosed AF and a high risk of stroke were taking *** use of pre-hospital OAc on admission was associated with a lower risk of new-onset ischemic stroke/transient ischemic attack among the diagnosed AF population(adjusted odds ratio:0.54,95%confidence interval:0.43-0.68;Pcharge,the prescription rate of OAc was 45.2%(16,757/37,087)in eligible patients with high stroke risk and 60.7%(2778/4578)in eligible patients with low stroke *** utilization in patients with high stroke risk on admission or at discharge both increased largely over time(all Pwed that OAc utilization at discharge was positively associated with in-hospital rhythm control strategies,including catheter ablation(adjusted odds ratio[OR]11.63,95%confidence interval[cI]10.04-13.47;Pctronic cardioversion(adjusted OR 2.41,95%cI 1.65-3.51;Pc drug use(adjusted OR 1.45,95%cI 1.38-1.53;Pconclusions:In hospitals participated in the ccc-AF project,>70%of AF patients were at a high risk of *** poor performance on guideline-recommended OAc use was found in this study,over time the ccc-AF project has made progress in stroke prevention in the chinese AF ***

Mathematical models between surfacing welding properties of c, cr, Mo, V, w alloy system and encode factors of alloy additives are established by test methods of advanced trial optimizing technology and computer assistant design (cAD). They help to draw unitary functions and binary isoclines diagrams through which the influence of encode factorial linearity, nonlinear effect and factors interaction of alloy additives on the performances of surfacing welding can be analyzed directly and quantitatively. Meanwhile, the performances of deposited metal can also be predicted according to the content of alloy additives.

As part of a Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation research project led by researchers at the University of washington with collaborators at University at Buffalo, and Taiwan National center for Research on Earthquake Engineering, a self-centering steel plate shear wall （Sc-SPSw） system has been developed to achieve enhanced seismic performance objectives, including recentering. The Sc-SPSw consists of thin steel infill panels, referred to as web plates that serve as the primary lateral load-resisting and energy dissipating element of the system. Post- tensioned （PT） beam-to-column connections provide system recentering capabilities. A performance-based design procedure has been developed for the Sc-SPSw, and a series of nonlinear response history analyses have been conducted to verify intended seismic performance at multiple hazard levels. Quasi-static subassembly tests, quasi-static and shake table tests of scaled three-story specimens, and pseudo-dynamic tests of two full-scale two-story Sc-SPSws have been conducted. As a culmination of this multi-year, multi-institutional project, this paper will present an overview of the Sc- SPSw numerical and experimental research programs. This paper will also discuss innovative PT connection and web plate designs that were investigated to improve constructability, resilience, and seismic performance and that can be applied to other self-centering and steel plate shear wall systems.

Among the various xenoliths entrained by the cenozoic Hannuoba basalts, peridotite is the most abundant one. The trace elements of the diopsides from the peridotite xenoliths were analysed by LA-IcP-MS. The overall depletion and some heterogeneity of the continental mantle beneath northern North china craton were indicated by the characteristics of the trace elements. The ∑REE amount in diopside correlates with the cr/(cr+Al) ratio of diopside which is indicative of xenolith’s partial melting degree. As the peridotite hosts and pyroxenite veins show similar REE distribution patterns, the composite xenoliths are probably formed by mantle deformation, rather than by the late metasomatism of mantle fluids/melts.

This paper presents an overview of different handling systems and use of the agave bagasse. These systems have appeared from different research works always taking in account the environmental sustainability. It is mentioned that the agave bagasse can be used for animal feeding, for the elaboration of compound materials, as an element for agricultural and hydroponic vegetables cultivation purposes, and also as a means to treat biosolids, vinasses, and bagasses of slaughterhouses and tanneries.

This paper describes the effects that temperature changes in the Rhine river distributaries have on native and exotic fish diversity. Site-specific potentially affected fractions （PAFs） of the regional fish species pool were derived using species sensitivity distributions （SSDs） for water temperature. The number of fish species in the river distributaries has changed remarkably over the last century. The number of native rheophilous species declined up until 1980 due to anthropogenic disturbances such as commercial fishing, fiver regulation, migration barriers, habitat deterioration and water pollution. In spite of progress in river re- habilitation, the native rheophilous fish fauna has only partially recovered thus far. The total number of species has strongly in- creased due to the appearance of more exotic species. After the opening of the Rhine-Main-Danube waterway in 1992, many fish species originating from the Ponto-caspian area colonized the Rhine basin. The yearly minimum and maximum river tempera- tures at Lobith have increased by circa 4 ~c over the period 1908-2010. Exotic species show lower PAFs than native species at both ends of the temperature range. The interspecific variation in the temperature tolerance of exotic fish species was found to be large. Using temporal trends in river temperature allowed past predictions of PAFs to demonstrate that the increase in maximum river temperature negatively affected a higher percentage of native fish species than exotic species. Our results support the hy- pothesis that alterations of the river Rhine＇s temperature regime caused by thermal pollution and global wanning limit the full recovery of native fish fauna and facilitate the establishment of exotic species which thereby increases competition between native and exotic species. Thermal refuges are important for the survival of native fish species under extreme summer or winter temperature conditions

Thermodynamic assessment of Ti-co-cu ternary system has been carried out by combining first-principle calculation and cALPHAD method. Firstly, formation enthalpies of stable and hypothesized compounds were calculated by first-principles method. Then, based on reported experimental information, a thermodynamic description of the Ti-co-cu ternary system was performed. Solution phases were treated as substitutional solutions of which excess Gibbs energies were formulated by Redlich-Kister polynomial, and the intermediate phases were described with sublattice models. All measured isothermal sections were reasonably reproduced. In addition, liquidus projection of this ternary system was further calculated, which may be useful for relevant materials processing.
