Due to 1) the w.des.read of the Internet and the eas. of us. and availability of computers.and the s.art phones.that enables.acces. to the Internet;2) the bus.nes. of people hindering them to attend phys.cal learning environments.and 3) the very few.number of elder licens.d s.ientis.s. w. have developed a virtual learning s.s.em (Electronic Miqra’ah). s.ientis.s.can s.pervis. remotely the regis.ered s.udents. s.udents.(from different ages. can regis.er from anyw.ere in the w.rld given that they have Internet connection. s.udents.can interact w.th the s.ientis. in real time s. that they can help them memorize (Tahfeez), guide them for error correction, and give them lectures.or les.ons.through virtual learning rooms. The targeted groups.of us.rs.can be nonblind people, blind people, manual-dis.bled people and illiterate people. w. have developed this.s.s.em s.ch that it takes.the commands.via voice in addition to the normal inputs.like mous. and keyboard. Us.rs.can dictate the commands.to the s.s.em orally and the s.s.em recognizes.the s.oken phras.s.and executes.them. w. have developed an efficient s.eech recognition engine that is.s.eaker independent and accent independent. The s.s.em adminis.rators.create s.veral virtual learning rooms.and regis.er the licens.d s.ientis.s. Adminis.rators.prepare a daily s.hedule for each room. s.udents.can regis.er to any of thes. rooms.by pronouncing its.name. Each s.udent is.allocated a portion of time w.ere he/s.e can interact directly by voice w.th the s.ientis.. Background: During pregnancy a s.all number of fetal RBCs.(Red Blood Cells. enter maternal blood w.thout ris., and incidence of s.gnificant feto-maternal hemorrhage (FMH) and is.immunization depends.on how.much fetal blood enters.maternal circulation;the us. of flow.cytometer (FCM) in FMH detection is.cons.dered the bes. laboratory technique. Aims. To evaluate role of FCM in FMH es.imation to optimize delivery protocols.and decreas. is.immunization. s.bject and Method: 100 pregnant w.men at labor w.re included, equally clas.ified into early cord clamping (ECC) and delayed cord clamping (DCC) groups. each including 25 w.men delivered vaginally and 25 w.th caes.rian s.ction;the control groups.included 20 non-pregnant females. 20 at 3rd trimes.er and 20 neonates. Fetal RBCs.w.re done on Becton Dickins.n (B.D) FCM, and the reagents.us.d w.re 5-Glutaraldehyde 0.5% s.gma cat. G5882, flouros.ine is.thiocyanite (FITC) anti-hemoglobin F (Hb-F) cat. 555748, anti-carbonic anhydras., Triton-X100 s.lution and Als.ver’s.s.lution cat. HFH-11, 0.1% phos.hate buffer s.line/bovine s.rum albumin (PBs.Bs.). s.atis.ical Analys.s. Mann w.itney’s.U-tes., Chi-s.uared, Fis.her’s.Exact tes.s. and s.s. for w.ndow. vers.on 15.0. Res.lts. There w.s.a s.gnificant increas. in the volume of the FMH in the ECC compared to DCC groups.(p s. in the vaginal delivery comparing to caes.rian s.ction s.bgroups.w.thin the DCC group (p w.thin caes.rian s.ction s.bgroup (p s.on: Fetal RBCs.es.imation by FCM is.good;perinatal laboratory tes. s.ould be done in routine inves.igations. as.a guide for obs.etric techniques.that can alter FMH volume and decreas. s.bs.quent is.immunization.

AIM:To inves.igate the value of duplex Doppler ultras.nography (Us. in the as.es.ment of the hemodynamics.of the portal and hepatic veins.in a cohort of children w.th chronic liver dis.as. (CLD) and to detect any relations.ip betw.en the Us.changes.etiology and s.verity (or s.age) of CLD. METHODs.w. pros.ectively enrolled 25 children w.th biops.-proven CLD. Thirteen had cirrhos.s.(aged 8.9 ± 2.0 years. and 12 had chronic hepatitis.(aged 9.3 ± 2.3 years.. Gray s.ale and color-coded duplex Doppler Us.w.re performed for all,as.w.ll as.30 healthy age and s.x-matched controls. Findings.w.re correlated w.th clinical,laboratory and his.opathological characteris.ics. REs.LTs.Prominent caudate lobe w.s.detected in 100% of cirrhotics.but none of the chronic hepatitis.or controls. Thickened les.er omentum and los. of the triphas.c w.veform of the hepatic vein w.re pres.nt in 69.2% and 53.8% of cirrhotics.vs.33.3% and 8.3% of chronic hepatitis.res.ectively. Portal vein flow.velocity w.s.s.gnificantly low.r (P s.ion index w.s.s.gnificantly higher (P s.compared to controls. Child-Pugh's.s.aging s.ow.d a pos.tive correlation w.th both abnormal hepatic vein w.veform and direction of portal blood flow. and a negative correlation w.th both hepatic and portal vein flow.velocities. No correlation w.th the etiology of CLD could be detected. CONCLUs.ON:Duplex Doppler added to grays.ale Us.can detect s.gnificant morphologic and portal hemodynamic changes.that correlate w.th the s.verity (s.age) of CLD,but not w.th etiology.

AIM: To inves.igate the genetic cons.itution of an es.ape mutant H5N1 s.rain and to s.reen the pres.nce of pos.ible amino acid s.gnatures.that could differentiate it from other Egyptian H5N1 ***: Phylogenetic, evolutionary patterns.and amino acid s.gnatures.of the genes.of an es.ape mutant H5N1 influenza A virus.is.lated in Egypt on 2009 w.re analyzed us.ng direct s.quencing and multis.quence ***: All the genes.of the es.ape mutant H5N1 s.rain s.ow.d a genetic pattern potentially related to Euras.an lineages. Evolution of phylogenetic trees.of different viral genes.revealed the abs.nce of reas.ortment in the es.ape mutant s.rain w.ile confirming clos. relatednes. to other H5N1 Egyptian s.rains.from human and avian s.ecies. A variety of amino acid s.bs.itutions.w.re recorded in different proteins.compared to the available Egyptian H5N1 s.rains. The s.rain dis.layed amino acid s.bs.itutions.in different viral alleles.s.milar to other Egyptian H5N1 s.rains.w.thout s.ow.ng amino acid s.gnatures.that could differentiate the es.ape mutant from other Egyptian ***: The genetic characteris.ics.of avian H5N1 in Egypt revealed evidence of a high pos.ibility of inter-s.ecies.trans.is.ion. No amino acid s.gnatures.w.re found to differentiate the es.ape mutant H5N1 s.rain from other Egyptian H5N1 s.rains.
