Constant load tests in NS4 solution purged w.th N2-5%CO2 gas mixture w.re conducted on American Petroleum Institute （API） X80 pipeline steel applied in the 2nd w.st-East （;as Pipeline project w.th and w.thout preload. The results show.that cracks could initiate and propagate in X80 pipeline steel in near-neutral pH environment under a constant load condition. The life of crack initiation and propagation increased w.th decreasing applied stress. Preload did not change its corrosion behavior obviously. How.ver, preload reduced the time for crack initiation.

An Experimental Study on the Effectiveness of Individualized Online Intervention for Mental Health Literacy of Community Residents

Background: Understanding how.to improve mental health literacy is conducive to maintaining and promoting individuals’ mental health and w.ll-being. How.ver, to date, interventions for mental health literacy primarily depend on traditional education and contact interventions, w.ich have limitations w.th regard to pertinence and individualization. Artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technology have influenced mental health services to be more intellectual and digital, and they also provide greater technical convenience for individualized interventions for promoting mental health literacy. How.ver, there is relatively little research on the effectiveness of individualized online intervention for mental health literacy in the literature. This study aims to fill this void. To verify w.ether individualized online intervention can improve the level of mental health literacy. Methods: w. conducted a pretest–post-test control experiment. The participants w.re recruited from a large community located in central China. A total of 152 participants completed the research. w. use mixed linear model estimation and paired t-tests to analyze the data. Results: Individualized online intervention can effectively improve the mental health literacy level of participants. Specifically, w. found that compared w.th the control group, the mental health literacy in the experimental group w.s significantly improved after receiving individualized online intervention. Likew.se, the mental health literacy of the control group has also improved after receiving individualized online intervention. In addition, w. compared the mental health literacy level of the experimental group at Time 3 to those at Time 2 and found that the mental health literacy level at Time 3 had not decreased one month later. The interaction betw.en metal and support is critical in oxygen catalysis as it governs the charge transfer betw.en these tw. entities,influences the electronic structures of the supported metal,affects the adsorption energies of reaction intermediates,and ultimately impacts the catalytic *** this study,w. discovered a unique charge transfer reversal phenomenon in a metal/carbon nanohybrid ***,electrons w.re transferred from the metal-based species to N-doped carbon,w.ile the carbon support reciprocally donated electrons to the metal domain upon the introduction of *** led to the exceptional electrocatalytic performances of the resulting Ni-Fe/Mo_(2)C@nitrogen-doped carbon catalyst,w.th a half-w.ve potential of 0.91 V tow.rds oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and a low.overpotential of 290 m V at 10 mA cm^(-2)tow.rds oxygen evolution reaction(OER)under alkaline ***,the Fe-Ni/Mo_(2)C@carbon heterojunction catalyst demonstrated high specific capacity(794 mA h g_(Zn)~(-1))and excellent cycling stability(200 h)in a Zn-air *** calculations revealed that Mo_(2)C effectively inhibited charge transfer from Fe to the support,w.ile secondary doping of Ni induced a charge transfer reversal,resulting in electron accumulation in the Fe-Ni alloy *** local electronic structure modulation significantly reduced energy barriers in the oxygen catalysis process,enhancing the catalytic efficiency of both ORR and ***,our findings underscore the potential of manipulating charge transfer reversal betw.en the metal and support as a promising strategy for developing highly-active and durable bi-functional oxygen electrodes.

Inspired by the excellent adhesion performances of setae structure from organisms,micro/nano-pillar array has become one of the paradigms for adhesive *** micropillar arrays are composed of the resin pillars for adhesion and the substrate w.th different elastic modulus for *** stress singularity at the bi-material corner betw.en the pillars and the substrate can induce the failure of the micropillar-substrate corner and further hinder the fabrication and application of micropillar arrays,yet the design for the stability of the micropillar array lacks systematical and quantitative *** this w.rk,w. develop a semi-analytical method to provide the full expressions for the stress distribution w.thin the bi-material corner combining analytical derivations and numerical *** predictions for the stress w.thin the singularity field can be obtained based on the full expressions of the *** good agreement betw.en the predictions and the FEM results demonstrates the high reliability of our *** adopting the strain energy density factor approach,the stability of the pillar-substrate corner is assessed by predicting the failure at the *** the elastic mismatch betw.en the pillar and substrate given in this paper,the stability can be improved by increasing the ratio of the shear modulus of the substrate to that of the *** study provides accurate predictions for the stress distribution at the bi-material corner and can guide the optimization of material combinations of the pillars and the substrate for more stable bioinspired dry adhesives.

The exact solutions for the propagation of Love w.ves in one-dimensional(1D)hexagonal piezoelectric quasicrystal(PQC)nanoplates w.th surface effects are *** electro-elastic model is developed to investigate the anti-plane strain problem of Love w.ve *** introducing three shape functions,the w.ve equations and electric balance equations are decoupled into three uncorrelated *** the boundary conditions of the top surface on the covering layer,the interlayer interface,and the matrix,a dispersive equation w.th the influence of multi-physical field coupling is provided.A surface PQC model is developed to investigate the surface effects on the propagation behaviors of Love w.ves in quasicrystal(QC)multilayered structures w.th nanoscale thicknesses.A novel dispersion relation for the PQC structure is derived in an explicit closed form according to the non-classical mechanical and electric boundary *** examples are given to reveal the effects of the boundary conditions,stacking sequence,characteristic scale,and phason fluctuation characteristics on the dispersion curves of Love w.ves propagating in PQC nanoplates w.th surface effects.

Edge computing, w.ich achieves quick data processing by sinking data computing and storage to the netw.rk edge, has grow. rapidly along w.th the Internet of things. The new.netw.rk architecture of edge computing brings new.security challenges. Based on this, this paper investigates the edge computing security literature published in recent years and summarizes and analyzes research w.rk on edge computing security from different attack surfaces. w. start w.th the definition and architecture of edge computing. From the attack surface betw.en device and edge server, as w.ll as on edge servers, the research describes the security threats and defense methods of edge computing. In addition, the cause of the attack and the pros and cons of defense methods is introduced. The challenges and future research directions of edge computing are given.

Thermoelectric(TE)generators capable of converting thermal energy into applicable electricity have gained great popularity among emerging energy conversion ***-based ionic thermoelectric(i-TE)materials are promising candidates for energy conversion systems because of their w.de sources,innocuity,and low.manufacturing ***,common physically crosslinked biopolymer gels induced by single hydrogen bonding or hydrophobic interaction suffer from low.differential thermal voltage and poor thermodynamic ***,w. develop a novel i-TE gel w.th supramolecular structures through multiple noncovalent interactions betw.en ionic liquids(ILs)and gelatin molecular *** thermopow.r and thermoelectric pow.r factor of the ionic gels are as high as 2.83 mV K-1 and 18.33μw.m^(-1)K^(-2),*** quasi-solid-state gelatin-[EMIM]DCA i-TE cells achieve ultrahigh 2 h output energy density(E_(2h)=9.9 mJ m^(-2))under an optimal temperature ***,the remarkable stability of the supramolecular structure provides the i-TE hydrogels w.th a thermal stability of up to 80℃.It breaks the limitation that biopolymer-based i-TE gels can only be applied in the low.temperature range and enables biopolymer-based i-TE materials to pursue better performance in a higher temperature range.
