This study endeavors to investigate the effects of Bifidobacterium breve CCFM1078 on bone formation and resorption balance in growing BALB/c mice. Newborn BALB/c mice were assigned to the control group (administration saline) and the CCFM1078 group (administration B. breve CCFM1078， 3 × 109CFU/day) in 3-， 4-， and 5-week tests. All the groups have male and female distinctions. Our findings demonstrate that B. breve CCFM1078 exerts on the dynamic equilibrium between bone formation and resorption during the critical period of growth in mice by modulating the composition of gut microbiota and metabolites (hexadecanamide， linoleoyl ethanolamide， and palmitoyl ethanolamide)， the genes and proteins expression related to the GH/IGF-1 axis and Gs/PKA/CREB signaling pathways， as well as downstream osteogenic and osteoclastic differentiation factors. The effects of B. breve CCFM1078 were different with age and gender dependent. This finding suggests B. breve CCFM1078 may have potential applications in regulating bone metabolism in the growth period population.

Temperature and precipitation are the main factors determining plant community succession and aboveground net primary productivity(ANPP) in natural grasslands. However, most climate manipulative experiments have mainly focused on their impacts in isolation, especially in alpine regions. Here we explored the relative effects and interaction of warming and precipitation alteration on succession and ANPP using a 7-year experiment involving warming with precipitation alteration(increase(IP) or decrease(DP) in precipitation relative to ambient precipitation(AP)) on the Tibetan Plateau. Our results showed that warming and warm-wet conditions increased species richness, diversity index, height and cover of overall ***, decreasing precipitation reduced them, but increased S. purpurea and the rate of change in community composition. Importantly, warming mitigated the impacts of decreased precipitation on plant community composition, and the interactive effects of warming and altered precipitation on cover, height and plant ANPP varied with year and plant ***, warming increased community ANPP through increases in forb ANPP or non-dominant species ANPP and biodiversity regardless of change in precipitation. However, decreased precipitation reduced community ANPP via decreases in the ANPP of sedges and forbs and biodiversity. Precipitation alteration affected the relationship between biodiversity and community ANPP regardless of warming(IPwarming and decreased precipitation have opposite effects on ANPP in the alpine grassland, suggesting that warming mitigated the negative impacts of drought on the ANPP of the alpine grassland.

The precise control of the shape of transversely stiffened suspended cable systems is crucial. However, existing form-finding methods primarily rely on iterative calculations that treat loads as fixed known conditions. These methods are inefficient and fail to accurately control shape results. In this study, we propose a form-finding method that analyzes the load response of models under different sag and stress levels, taking into account the construction process. To analyze the system, a structural finite element model was established in ANSYS, and geometric nonlinear analysis was conducted using the Newton-Raphson method. The form-finding analysis results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves precise control of shape, with a maximum shape error ranging from 0.33% to 0.98%. Furthermore, the relationships between loads and tension forces are influenced by the deformed shape of the structures, exhibiting significant geometric nonlinear characteristics. Meanwhile, the load response analysis reveals that the stress level of the self-equilibrium state in the transversely stiffened suspended cable system is primarily governed by strength criteria, while shape is predominantly controlled by stiffness criteria. Importantly, by simulating the initial tensioning process as an initial condition, this method solves for a counterweight that satisfies the requirements and achieves a self-equilibrium state with the desired shape. The shape of the self-equilibrium state is precisely controlled by simulating the construction process. Overall, this work presents a new method for analyzing the form-finding process of large-span transversely stiffened suspended cable system, considering the construction process which was often overlooked in previous studies.

As part of the 4th industrial revolution, programmable mechanical metamaterials exhibit great application potential in flexible robotics, vibration control, and impact protection. However, maintaining a programmed state without sustaining the external stimulus is often challenging and leads to additional energy consumption. Inspired by Rubik's cube, we design and study an insitu programmable and distribution-reconfigurable mechanical metamaterial(IPDR-MM). A matrix model is developed to model IPDR-MMs and describe their morphological transitions. Based on this model, the reinforcement learning method is employed to find the pathways for morphological transitions. we find that IPDR-MMs have controllable stiffness across several orders of magnitude and a wide range of adjustable anisotropies through morphology transformation. Additionally, because of the independence of the directions of morphology transformation and bearing, IPDR-MMs exhibit good stability in bearing and can readily achieve high stiffness. The Rubik's cube-inspired design concept is also instructive for other deformable structures and metamaterials, and the current version of the proposal should be sufficiently illustrative to attract and broaden interdisciplinary interests.

The application of non-noble metal catalysts in the catalytic direct gas-phase epoxidation of propylene with H2and O2to produce propylene oxide is valuable and *** introduction of alkali metal promoters is one of the effective methods to improve the catalytic activity of ***,a series of alkali metal （Li,Na,K,Rb,and Cs）-promoted Ni/TS-1 catalysts were prepared to deeply understand the effect of alkali metals on the structure-activity relationship for gas-phase epoxidation of *** them,the Na-Ni/TS-1 catalyst exhibits the highest catalytic activity (propylene conversion of 7.35%and POformation rate of 157.9 g h-1kg-1cat) and the best stability （long-term stability exceeding 140 h at 200°C）.X-ray absorption and photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the electronic structure of Ni can be tuned by the addition of alkali metal ***3-TPD-MS,CO2-TPD-MS,and C3H6-TPD-MS results indicate that the acidity of the catalyst can also be adjusted by the introduction of alkali metal,whereas the Na-Ni/TS-1 catalyst exhibits the strongest C3H6adsorption ***,the suitable acid-base properties,unique electronic properties of Ni species,and the strongest propylene adsorption capacity resulted in improved propylene gas-phase epoxidation activity of Na-Ni/TS-1 *** study not only provides a new strategy for the practical application of nickel-based catalysts in the gas-phase epoxidation of propylene but also provides insights into the promoting effect of alkali metals.
