By introducing a discrete memristor and periodic sinusoidal functions,a two-dimensional map with coexisting chaos and hyperchaos is *** coexisting chaotic and hyperchaotic attractors under different Lyapunov exponents are firstly found in this discrete map,along with which other regimes of coexistence such as coexisting chaos,quasiperiodic oscillation,and discrete periodic points are also *** hyperchaotic attractors can be flexibly controlled to be unipolar or bipolar by newly embedded constants meanwhile the amplitude can also be controlled in combination with those coexisting *** on the nonlinear auto-regressive model with exogenous inputs(NARX)for neural network,the dynamics of the memristive map is well predicted,which provides a potential passage in artificial intelligencebased applications.

Gracilis muscle transposition is well established in general surgery and has been the main muscle transposition technique for anal ***,through a schedule of continuous electrical stimulation,converts the fatigue-prone muscle fibres to a tonic fatigue-resistant morphology with acceptable results in those cases where there is limited sphincter muscle *** differences between gluteoplasty and graciloplasty,as well as the techniques and complications of both procedures,are outlined in this ***,these techniques are rarely carried out in specialized units with experience,as there is a high revision and explantation rate.

objective To examine the presence of gender differences in pro-inflammatory potential of cadmium in rats by comparing systemic inflammatory response to acute cadmium intoxication in animals of the two sexes. Methods Basic aspects of this response were evaluated, including plasma levels of inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor （TNF） and interleukin-6 （IL-6） and of major rat acute phase protein alpha 2-macroglobulin （alpba2-M）, as soluble indicators of inflammation, and the number and activity of peripheral blood leukocytes, as cellular indicators of inflammation. Results Differential increases of IL-6 and alpha 2-M （higher in males than in females） in peripheral blood cell counts and types （leukocytosis and shift in the ratio of granulocytes to lymphocytes more pronounced in males vs females） and in levels of neutrophil priming （higher in males vs females） were noted. Conclusion The data document a more intense inflammatory response to cadmium administration in males. The sex differences in inflammatory effects of cadmium might be taken into consideration in studying the toxicity of this heavy metal.

The phylogeny of European crayfish fauna,especially with respect to Eastern European species,is still far from being completely *** fill this gap,we analyzed most of the European crayfish species focusing on the phylogenetic position of the endemic crayfish Astacus colchicus,inhabiting *** mitochondrial and one nuclear marker were used to study evolutionary relationships among European crayfish species,resulting in the unique phylogenetic position of *** indicating independent species status to *** analyses revealed a deep molecular divergence of *** in comparison to ***(6.5–10.9%in mtDNA and 1.1%in nDNA)as well as to Pontastacus leptodactylus and ***(5.5–10.0%in mtDNA and 1.4–2.4%in nDNA).Absent ventral process on second male pleopod and abdominal somites II and III with pleura rounded lacking prominent spines clearly indicate taxonomic assignment to the genus Astacus;however,the species is distributed almost in the middle of Ponto-Caspian area typical by occurrence of the genus *** morphological indices linked to head length,carapace,and total body length and width were found to demonstrate apparent differences between *** and *** this study provides a novel insight into European crayfish phylogeography,we also point out the gaps in comprehensive study of the *** species complex,which could reveal details about the potential species status of particular species and subspecies within this genus.

Evaluation of Rice Seedling Tolerance to Constant and Intermittent Low Temperature Stress

M202, IR50 and advanced backcross （BC4F6） lines carrying the cold tolerance QTLs qCTS4 and qCTS12 were evaluated using three low temperature stress assays （constant, intermittent and constant with recovery period）. Under constant stress, two BC4F6 lines （MIb 4853-9 and MIb 6885-2） exhibited differences in seedling growth and accumulation of stress-related compounds although both carry the two QTLs in the IRS0 background. Differences between these lines were also observed in the constant with recovery period assay, although both of them performed comparably under intermittent stress, MIb 6885-2 performed more similarly to M202 in the constant and constant with recovery period assays, suggesting that this line contains an introgressed region（s） not present in MIb 4853-9. The three assays were also applied to assess variations in cold tolerance in a set of diverse germplasms. Performance metrics and visual ratings were comparable for evaluating tolerance to constant stress. However, differences in response to intermittent stress were more evident from growth and total chlorophyll measurements than from visual ratings. With regard to the constant with recovery period assay, about 15% of the germplasm accessions did not recover. However, some lines which exhibited chilling injuries of comparable severity were able to overcome them. This recovery phenotype may improve rice performance in the field and warrant further investigation.
