In the evolving situation of highly infectious coronavirus,the number of confirmed cases in India has largely increased,which has resulted in a shortage of health care ***,the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare-Government of India issued guidelines for the‘Home isolation of COVID-19 positive patients’methodology for asymptomatic patients or with mild *** home isolation,the patients are required to monitor and record the pulse rate,body temperature,and oxygen saturation three times a *** paper proposes a system that can request data from the required sensor to measure the pulse rate,body temperature,or oxygen *** requested data is sensed by the respective sensor placed near the patients’body and sent to the CAN data logger over the CAN *** CAN data logger live streams the sensor values and stores the same to an excel sheet along with details like the patient’s name,patient’s age,and *** physicians can then access this information.

Disturbance Observer Based Speed Control of PMSM Using Fractional Order PI Controller

In this paper, fractional order PI(FOPI) control is developed for speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM). Designing the parameters for FOPI controller is a challenging task, especially for nonlinear systems like *** three PI controllers in the conventional vector controlled speed drive are replaced by FOPI controllers. Design of these FOPI controllers is based on the locally linearized model of PMSM around an operating point. This operating point changes with the load torque. The novelty of the work reported here is in use of Non Linear Disturbance Observer(NLDO) to estimate load torque to obtain this new operating point. All three FOPI controllers are then designed adaptively using this new operating point. The scheme is tested on simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK and results are presented.

Vaccination for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a critical strategy in controlling the current pandemic of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2).After widespread COVID-19 vaccine implementation,isolated case reports about myocarditis as a potential adverse reaction started *** of November 12,2021,Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC)has reported 1793 cases of myocarditis or pericarditis among young people with age 12-29 years,most cases have been reported in the male adolescent age group after the second dose of mRNA COVID-19 *** is very important to monitor the safety standards and adverse reactions of vaccines to effectively implement the vaccination *** CDC and the United States Food and Drug Administration actively monitor vaccine-associated adverse reactions a well-known platform such as Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting *** continues to recommend COVID-19 vaccines and booster doses for eligible individuals(age limit according to the type of vaccine)after careful consideration from risk-benefit assessment and favorable outcomes from *** behind COVID-19 vaccine-induced myocarditis are not clear yet but several possibilities such as molecular mimicry between the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 and self-antigens,immune response to mRNA,and activation of host immunological system,trigger of the pre-existing dysregulated immunological system have been documented in the ***,data suggests a good prognosis,especially in young *** this review article,we cover currently available data on COVID-19 vaccine-related myocarditis incidence,concerns,possible mechanisms of myocarditis,current treatment,and outcome trends,risk vs benefit assessment of COVID-19 vaccination in this current pandemic.
