The evolution of refertilized lithospheric mantle beneath the northeastern Siberian craton:Links between mantle metasomatism,thermal state and diamond potential

Although the diamond potential of cratons is linked mainly to thick and depleted Archean lithospheric keels, there are examples of craton-edge locations and circum-cratonic Proterozoic terranes underlain by diamondiferous mantle. Here, we use the results of comprehensive major and trace-element studies of detrital garnets from diamond-rich Late Triassic(Carnian) sedimentary rocks in the northeastern Siberia to constrain the thermal and chemical state of the pre-Triassic mantle and its ability to sustain the diamond storage. The studied detrital mantle-derived garnets are dominated by low-to mediumCr lherzolitic(~45%) and low-Cr megacrystic(~39%) chemistries, with a significant proportion of eclogitic garnets(~11%), and only subordinate contribution from harzburgitic garnets(~5%) with variable CrOcontents(1.2–8.4 wt.%). Low-Cr megacrysts display uniform, “normal” rare-earth element(REE)patterns with no Eu/Eu* anomalies, systematic Zr and Ti enrichment(mainly within 2.5–5), which are evidence of their crystallization from deep metasomatic melts. Lherzolitic(G9) garnets exhibit normal or humped to MREE-depleted sinusoidal REE patterns and elevated Nd/Y(up to 0.33–0.41) and Zr/Y ratios(up to 7.62). Rare low-to high-Cr harzburgitic(G10) garnets have primarily “depleted”, sinusoidal REEpatterns, low Ti, Y and HREE, but vary significantly in Zr-Hf, Ti and MREE-HREE contents, Nd/Y(within 0.1–2.4) and Zr/Y(1.53–19.9) ratios. The observed trends of chemical enrichment from the most depleted,harzburgitic garnets towards lherzolitic(including high-Ti high-Cr G11-type) garnets and megacrysts result from either voluminous high-temperature metasomatism by plume-derived silicate melts or recurrent mobilization of less voluminous kimberlitic or related carbonated mantle melts, rather than the initially primitive, fertile nature of the Proterozoic SCLM. Semen Quality in the General Population of Bulgaria

Background: With the accumulating evidence of semen difference between distinct populations we decided to conduct a population-based prospective study to assess the reproductive capabilities of the Bulgarian males. Objective: To evaluate the semen parameters in men from the general population of Bulgaria. To analyze the effects of BMI (Body mass index) and tobacco smoking on semen characteristics. Methods: 482 males without history of reproductive problems were included for the purpose of this study. The duration of our study was from April to May in 2016 and April in 2017. The volunteers were subdivided based on their smoking status and on their BMI. After semen collection, a conventional semen analysis was carried out manually by trained embryologists in an andrology laboratory according to WHO recommendations. The results were statistically analyzed and presented with their mean values. Result(s): After semen analysis we report a mean of 3.29 ml for semen volume, 40.68 × 106/ml for spermatozoa concentration, 128.38 × 106 for total sperm count, 52.54% of total motile spermatozoa in the ejaculate and a mean percentage of morphologically normal sperm standing at 9.6%. We did not find a negative effect of tobacco smoking on semen quality;however higher BMI is associated with lower sperm concentration per ml. Discussion and Conclusion(s): This is the first contemporary study, assessing semen quality in Bulgarians. The results obtained here show the lower quality of semen in Bulgaria, compared to other countries. No statistical differences were found between the semen quality of nonsmokers and smokers. Higher BMI was found to be associated with lower sperm concentration per milliliter.

养老保障制度体现出了一国社会、经济的发展水平,同时,良好地养老保障制度也会促进一国社会的和谐向上发展。然而,近年来,人口危机促使俄罗斯养老保障困难重重,不得不对养老保障制度进行了新一轮的改革。人口危机不仅使每一位劳动者的养老负担加重,而且使俄罗斯增加了一定的财政危机。为此,俄罗斯必须不断地对养老保障机制进行优化。本文基于对俄罗斯养老保障制度改革发展历程以及现状的分析,提出了目前俄罗斯在养老保障体系方面存在的一系列问题,通过对中、美、德、日等国家先进养老保障制度改革经验的分析,给出俄罗斯完善养老保障体制的对策与建议,旨在促进俄罗斯养老保障制度的深化完善以及社会的稳定和谐发展。论文共分为四章。第一章为绪论,对俄罗斯养老保障制度的相关研究现状进行梳理与分析,阐述了本文的研究背景与意义;第二章对养老保障的基本概念以及相关理论基础进行了分析,以“第三条道路”、渐进决策理论和福利国家论为代表;第三章是论文的重点,主要对俄罗斯养老保障制度的发展历程、取得的成果、主要内容、存在的问题以及问题成因进行了透彻地分析;第四章对中、美、日、德等国的养老保障制度的经验进行了研究,旨在得出俄罗斯养老保障制度的启示;并根据俄罗斯养老保障制度的问题及问题成因,结合外国先进养老保障制度启示,给出俄罗斯养老保障制度改革的对策与建议。

Pressure Oxidative Leaching of Complex Sulphide Concentrate

The presented results are related to the leaching of Pb-Zn-Cu-Fe sulphide concentrate, obtained from barite-sulphide ores, under the elevated temperatures and pressures in an autoclave. The leaching process was performed using the sulphur acid solution with the oxygen addition for the separation of the targeted metals from the polymetallic concentrate. In this process influences of various parameters were discussed and then correlated to the leached metals, zinc, copper and iron. Zinc, copper and iron were dissolved in a solution, while lead remained as insoluble in the leach residue. The best leaching results were determined under the temperature of 210 ℃ during the 240 min. Obtained leaching degrees were 98% zinc, 95% copper and 96% iron.

Fluid Dynamic Response of the Russia Seismically Differing Regions to the Global Geodynamics Processes

The results of the spectral-correlation analysis of the fluid-dynamic (radon and hydrogen) data monitoring obtained in the seismically active region—on Kamchatka and in conditions of Russian platform where compared to the results of the laser-deformometer measurements obtained on Caucasus. It allowed identify spectral components of the measured parameters, first of all, in the area of the lunar-solar tides. This identification have demonstrated the identical reaction of the mountain and platform regions to the global geodeformation processes of the tidal level and have shown the possibility of the measuring parameters response to the catastrophic events preparation processes. Really the prognostic effects in the investigated fields where indicated in periods of preparation and realization of the catastrophic earthquakes in Indian Ocean on December, 26, 2004 and on March, 28, 2005.

Eating Behavior of Students at the Technical University of Moldova during the Isolation Period

Appetizing peculiarities are formed from childhood and can vary throughout life. Although they are conditioned by genetic factors, over time, the internal regulation of eating behaviors is reduced, being influenced by a complex interaction of various external factors. According to the Behavioral Susceptibility (BST) Theory of Obesity, Food Sensitivity in Response to Food Stimuli (such as Food Sight and Smell) and Satiety Responsiveness (i.e. the ability to adjust diet in response to internal feelings of satiety) contribute to individual differences in terms of energy intake and weight status. The present research intended to assess the eating patterns and behavior of Moldovan students, especially those from Technical University of Moldova during the social isolation imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The study was conducted, based on the questionnaires (AEBQ—Adult Eating Behavior Questionnaire), on a group of 602 students from Technical University of Moldova. Participation in the survey was entirely voluntary, did not involve any invasive procedure, nor did it induce changes in participants’ food patterns. The obtained results could contribute to the formation of the database for the study of the behavioral phenotype associated with the risk of obesity, but also for the study of eating behavior in crises. The questionnaire was distributed, in the form of a link, on the corporate emails of all TUM students. Respondents completed the questionnaire on the Google platform between 13.10.2021 - 25.11.2021, and the final database has been downloaded as a Microsoft Excel file. It was established a positive correlation between, Emotional Over-Eating and Emotional Under-Eating. Nervousness and anger were the most incriminating emotions of students that would cause both overeating and under eating. The results of the AEBQ questionnaire appear to be largely in line with previous studies, and the collected data present interest, in particular to prevent the risk of obesity.
