Specific structural features of LnZrOx(Ln:La, Sm) mixed oxides prepared by different methods

LnZrOx(Ln: La, Sm) mixed oxides of Ln: Zr = 1 were prepared by different methods(complex polymerized method, sorption of cations on starch from aqueous salt solution and conventional co-precipitation with additional redispersion of precipitate by ultra sound) and calcined at 700–1300 °C. Their specific structural features and changes were studied and discussed. Various characterization methods were used such as X-ray diffraction,Electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared and Raman spectroscopy, UV–Vis spectroscopy, X-Ray absorption fine structure and X-ray photoelectron *** formation of pyrochlore structure occurred at 1100–1300 °C from fluorite-like pseudocubic phase ZrO2regardless the method of preparation. This phase had a block-like structure consisting of ZrO2nanocrystals stabilized by Ln cations and residual anions such as hydroxyls and carbonates. The desorption of such anions with heating already started at 900 °C and lead to local changes of Zr cations coordination to octahedral and to the formation of pyrochlore nanodomains inclusions within fluorite-like phase. The increased cation mobility and further elimination of anions caused by further heating was accompanied by the formation of bulk pyrochlore phase at 1100–1300 °C. Even after calcination at 1300 °C the local microheterogeneity as well as defects were identified at domains boundaries or sintered microstructure. These specific features of the formed pyrochlores depend on the method of preparation.

Peculiarities of Erythrocytic Parameters in Patients with nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis

Thirty-seven males with non-alcoholic staatohepatitis (nASH) (aged 39 - 62) were included in the study. Clinical, biochemical and instrumental studies were used to verify the diagnosis. The control group was comprised of thirty-three males of comparable age and without confirmed signs of liver diseases and other pathology of inner organs. Dielectrophoresis was applied to evaluate the structural-and-functional erythrocytic parameters. The patients with nASH erythrocytes tended to differ in their much lower amplitude deformation, polarizability, capacity of erythrocytic membranes, pace of translational motion of cells towards electrodes and much higher levels of overall indices of rigidity, viscosity, electroconductivity, destruction and aggregation as compared to the control group (p n of erythrocytic parameters with biochemical findings reflecting inflammatory and cytolytic syndrome, cholestasis, protein-synthesizing liver function as well as markers of metabolic syndrome (BMI, changes in arterial blood pressure, the degree of disturbances in carbohydrate metabolism, atherogenic dyslipidemia) and microalbuminuria. Aggravation of microcirculatory disturbances leading to an increase of fibrogenes is induced by changes in the properties of erythrocytes under nASH suggests the administration of a number of therapeutic techniques which could improve the status of the parameters of red blood cells. This study aims to evaluate the peculiarities of electric and viscoelastic behavior of erythrocytes in patients with primary nASH in order to determine additional methods of treatment for this disease.

A Model for a Spherically Symmetric Space Generated by a Spherical Gravitational Source and a Gravitational Medium with Constant Mass Density

A metric on a spherically symmetric space generated by a spherical source of gravity and filled with a gravitational medium is constructed, and criteria for the continuity of this metric on the entire space (which is equivalent to the absence of black holes) are found. Properties of radial geodesics under various constraints on the size of the gravitational source, its mass, and the mass density of the gravitational medium are studied.

近年来煤炭、石油、天然气等传统能源逐渐枯竭,大量化石能源的使用造成环境污染。为了降低二氧化碳的排放量,国家积极推动风、光、水电、氢能等可再生能源的发展,而这些能源技术的推广应用的关键是新材料的研发。目前新材料的研发主要依赖于研究者根据材料结构以及其用于某一特定体系的预期催化活性为目标进行实验优化,导致新材料研发过程缓慢。随着计算材料学的进一步发展,研究人员整合了大量关于材料结构及性能表征的材料数据库,通过比较逐步优化筛选新材料。综述了当前材料开发的设计思路以及合成方法,以人工智能(AI)为着眼点阐述了近年来基于AI方法设计、制备可再生能源材料过程中的模型与算法,并总结了AI用于材料设计方面的研究意义和发展过程,最后对AI方法用以可再生能源材料设计、制备的发展进行了展望,介绍了本课题组提出的材料优化模型,并且列举了该模型成功应用于电解水析氢以及硼氢化钠制氢的材料优化的案例。未来,AI技术在新材料的理论计算、合成设计、性能预测、材料微观结构表征分析等方面具有非常广阔应用前景。

The composition of acid/oil interface in acid oil emulsions

In well stimulation treatments using hydrochloric acid,undesirable water-in-oil emulsion and acid sludge may produce and then cause operational problems in oil field *** processes intensify in the presence of Fe(Ⅲ),which are from the corroded surfaces of field equipment and/or iron-bearing minerals of the oil *** order to understand the reasons of the stability of acid emulsions,acid emulsions were prepared by mixing crude oil emulsion with 15% hydrochloric acid solutions with and without Fe(Ⅲ) and then separated into free and upper(water free) and intermediate(with water) *** is assumed that the oil phase of the free and upper layers contains the compounds which do not participate in the formation of acid emulsions,and the oil phase of the intermediate layers contains components involved in the formation of oil/acid *** composition of the oil phase of each layer of the emulsions was *** is found that the asphaltenes with a high content of sulfur,oxygen and metals as well the flocculated material of protonated non-polar oil components are concentrated at the oil/acid *** addition to the above,in the presence of Fe(Ⅲ) the Fe(Ⅲ)-based complexes with polar groups of asphaltenes are formed at the acid/oil interface,contributing to the formation of armor films which enhance the emulsion stability.

Flotation separation of wolframite from calcite using a new trisiloxane surfactant as collector

Since wolframite is usually associated with calcite,the separation and enrichment of wolframite by froth flotation remains a great ***,a novel trisiloxane surfactant n-(2-aminoethyl)-3-ami nopropyltrisiloxane(AATS)was successful synthesized,which was used for the separation of wolframite from calcite for the first *** flotation separation performance of AATS was studied by flotation test,and its adsorption mechanism was explored based on contact angle,infrared spectrum analysis(FTIR),zeta potential and density functional theory(DFT)*** results of microflotation test and binary mixed ore flotation test pointed that AATS had excellent selectivity and more prominent collection capacity for the flotation of wolframite when compared with industrial reagent sodium oleate(naOL).The measurement results of contact angle proved that AATS improved the hydrophobicity of the wolframite *** highly selective adsorption mechanism of AATS surfactant on mineral surfaces were further researched and analyzed by FTIR and zeta *** results revealed that AATS surfactant had significant adsorption effect on wolframite,yet almost no adsorption on *** calculation indicated that AATS produced electrostatic adsorption with wolframite surface through—n+H3 group.

Influence of Carcinogenic Factors in the Maxillofacial Region

Objective To study the influence of carcinogenic factors on tissues and organs of the maxillofacial region(MFR)by measuring the expression of biomarkers in the oral *** We recruited 421 patients who were divided into 2 groups:356 patients with a tumour of the MFR and 65 healthy people without somatic pathology in medical *** The effects of carcinogenic factors on the expression of biomarkers in the oral fluid in patients with a tumour of the MFR revealed a significant increase in the levels of biomarkers of tobacco use-MMP-8,TIMP-1,TIMP-2,and CA 72-4,CEA and CA 125;frequent use or abuse of alcohol-MMP-8,TIMP-1,TIMP-2,AFP and nSE;use of narcotics-TIMP-1 and TIMP-2;presence of occupational hazards in the medical history-MMP-8,MMP-9,TIMP-1 and TIMP-2;with a diagnostic sensitivity(DS)of over 60%.Also our analysis showed that the use of tobacco was significantly affecting the expression of TIMP-1and CA 125;frequent use or abuse of alcohol-CA 19-9,AFP and CEA;use of drugs had an impact on ***,the occupational hazards in the medical history did not show a statistically significant *** Factors of carcinogenesis affect the expression of biomarkers in the oral *** expression of the biomarkers of the MFR should be compared with that in the control group of patients with no carcinogenic factors.

Superior piezoelectric performance with high operating temperature in bismuth ferrite-based ternary ceramics

Due to the thermal depolarization effect,adequate piezoelectric performance with high operating temperature is regarded to be challenging to accomplish concurrently in piezoceramics for applications in specific piezoelectric *** this work,we synthesized(0.8−x)BiFeO_(3)-x PbTi_(3)-0.2Ba(Zr_(0.25)Ti_(0.75))O_(3)(abbreviated as BFO-x PT-BZT)ternary solid solutions with 0.15≤x≤0.30 by conventional solid-state reaction *** MPB composition with a coexisting state of rhombohedral-tetragonal phases exhibits enhanced electromechanical properties,including Curie temperature of 380℃,large-signal equivalent piezoelectric coefficient d^(∗)_(33)of 395 pm V^(-1),small-signal piezoelectric coefficient d_(33)of 302 pC n^(-1),and electromechanical coupling factor k_(p)of 50.2%,which is comparable to commercial PZT-5A ceramics,indicating potential in high-temperature ***,in-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD)and piezoelectric force microscopic(PFM)techniques demonstrate that multiphase coexistence and complex nanodomains promote piezoelectric response via *** x=0.24 composition exhibits the highest in-situ d_(33)of 577 pC n^(-1)and good temperature stability in 30−280℃,indicating that BZT-modified BFO-PT ceramics are promising candidates for high-temperature piezoelectric devices.
