Despite advances in cancer treatment,pancreatic cancer(PC)remains a disease with high mortality rates and poor survival *** B7 homolog 3(B7-H3)checkpoint molecule is overexpressed among many malignant tumors,including PC,with low or absent expression in healthy *** modulating various immunological and nonimmunological molecular mechanisms,B7-H3 may influence the progression of ***,the impact of B7-H3 on the survival of patients with PC remains a subject of ***,most available scientific data recognize this molecule as a suppressive factor to antitumor immunity in ***,it has been demonstrated that B7-H3 stimulates the migration,invasion,and metastasis of PC cells,and enhances resistance to *** preclinical models of PC,B7-H3-targeting monoclonal antibodies have exerted profound antitumor effects by increasing natural killer cell-mediated antibodydependent cellular cytotoxicity and delivering radioisotopes and cytotoxic drugs to the tumor ***,PC treatment with B7-H3-targeting antibody-drug conjugates and chimeric antigen receptor t cells is being tested in clinical *** review provides a comprehensive analysis of all PC-related studies in the context of B7-H3 and points to deficiencies in the current data that should be overcome by future research.

High-energy-density lithium metal batteries are the next-generation battery systems of choice,and replacing the flammable liquid electrolyte with a polymer solid-state electrolyte is a prominent conduct towards realizing the goal of high-safety and high-specific-energy ***,the inherent intractable problems of poor solid-solid contacts between the electrode/electrolyte and the growth of li dendrites hinder their practical *** in-situ solidification has demonstrated a variety of advantages in the application of polymer electrolytes and artificial interphase,including the design of integrated polymer electrolytes and asymmetric polymer electrolytes to enhance the compatibility of solid–solid contact and compatibility between various electrolytes,and the construction of artificial interphase between the li anode and cathode to suppress the formation of li dendrites and to enhance the high-voltage stability of polymer *** review firstly elaborates the history of in-situ solidification for solid-state batteries,and then focuses on the synthetic methods of solidified ***,the recent progress of in-situ solidification technology from both the design of polymer electrolytes and the construction of artificial interphase is summarized,and the importance of in-situ solidification technology in enhancing safety is ***,prospects,emerging challenges,and practical applications of in-situ solidification are envisioned.

the significant reduction of sediment load flux into lake Baikal from its main tributary-the Selenga River began in the mid-1970 s,and can be explained by climate change and socio-economic *** analysis was done of changes in hydro-meteorological parameters(water discharge,sediment load,air temperature,and precipitation) and their tendencies over periods of 1946-1975(baseline) and1976-2017(warming).Changes in natural processes and human activity were negligible during the baseline *** the warming period,against the background of an increase in temperature,the water discharge had a slight decreasing trend(-13%) whereas the sediment load has significantly decreased(-53%) these are consist with the precipitation change(-9.4%).Analysis of hydro-climatic data using statistical methods showed that in the warming period the greatest reduction in river sediment runoff occurred in the interval *** this period the sediment load was 768 × 10～3 t/yr,which is less than the average value during the warming period-1048 × 10～3 t/*** sedimentation in the Selenga River delta,the actual sediment load flux from the Selenga River into lake Baikal amounted to 515 × 10～3 t/yr,which is three times less than the average multiyear value 1535 × 10～3 t/yr for observation period(1946-2017).

the development of structural materials resistant to harsh radiation environments requires an in-depth understanding of the early stage of the aging *** radiation environments with high transmutation helium production rates such as in fusion and spallation applications,even materials with otherwise acceptable radiation stability may suffer from radiation embrittlement related to helium bubble *** theoretical modeling of helium-assisted cavity nucleation in pure metals and simple alloys provides some useful guidelines at the atomic scale level,these,however,do not overlap with the size resolution of available experimental *** this study,we employed slow positron beam spectroscopy to characterize the nucleation and growth of nano-scale helium bubbles in martensitic steels strengthened by thermodynamically stable nano-oxide *** combination with transmission electron microscopy,we experimentally characterized the evolution of helium bubbles from small clusters of radiation-induced vacancies to large cavities well resolvable by *** radiation resistance of oxide-dispersion strengthened steels dominates only in the early stages of bubble evolution,where positron lifetime measurements provide a missing piece of the microstructural puzzle conventionally constructed by tEM.

Samples of chemically vapor deposited(CVD)coatings of tungsten carbides W_(45)C_(55)and W_(60)C_(40)and samples of hot-rolled tungsten were exposed to deuterium(D)plasma at sample temperatures ranging from 323 to 813 K,as a result of which the samples were irradiated with D ions with an energy of about 200 eV per D particle at a flux of D particles of about1.1×10^(21)D·m^(-2)·s^(-1)to a fluence of about 2×10^(24)D·m^(-2).the concentration of deuterium in these samples was examined by the D(3 He,p)4 He nuclear *** on the measured deuterium depth profiles and assuming that these profiles are determined by diffusing D atoms,the diffusion coefficients of deuterium in the CVD tungsten carbide coatings were *** these diffusion coefficients,an estimate of the Arrhenius relation for the diffusion coefficients of deuterium in CVD tungsten carbide coatings was obtained:D=2.5×10^(-3)exp(-1.12 eV/kt)m~2·s^(-1),where t is temperature expressed in Kelvin,and k is the Boltzmann *** concentration of trapped deuterium in the bulk of CVD tungsten carbide coatings is practically independent of the stoichiometry of the *** decreases from about 5×10^(-2)to about 7×10^(-4)D/(W+C)with an increase in the deuterium plasma exposure temperature from 373 to 813 *** concentration of trapped deuterium in hot-rolled tungsten,expressed in units of the D/W atomic ratio,is more than an order of magnitude lower than the concentration of deuterium in tungsten carbides,and also decreases with increasing plasma exposure temperature.

BACKGROUND Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease(ASCVD)is the leading cause of mortality in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFlD).Weight loss is a key factor for successful NAFlD and CVD *** acid(UDCA),which is one of the first-line therapeutic agents for treatment of NAFlD,is reported to have a beneficial effect on dyslipidemia and ASCVD risk because of antioxidant *** to evaluate the effects of 6 mo of UDCA treatment on hepatic function tests,lipid profile,hepatic steatosis and fibrosis,atherogenesis,and ASCVD risk in men and women with NAFlD,as well as to assess the impact of>5%weight reduction on these *** An open-label,multicenter,international noncomparative trial was carried out at primary health care settings and included 174 patients with ultrasound-diagnosed NAFlD who received 15 mg/kg/d UDCA for 6 mo and were prescribed lifestyle modification with diet and *** efficacy criteria were liver enzymes,lipid profile,fatty liver index(FlI),noninvasive liver fibrosis tests(nonalcoholic fatty liver disease fibrosis score and liver fibrosis index),carotid intima-media thickness(CIMt),and ASCVD risk *** test statistical hypotheses,the Wilcoxon test,paired t-test,Fisher’s exact test,and Pearson's chi-squared test were *** the alanine aminotransferase(Alt)level changed by-14.1 U/l(-31.0;-5.3)from baseline to 3 mo and by-6.5 U/l(-14.0;0.1)from 3 to 6 *** magnitude of Alt,aspartate transaminase,and glutamyltransferase decrease was greater during the first 3 mo of treatment compared to the subsequent 3 mo(Ptively).At 6 mo,in the total sample,we observed a statistically significant decrease in body weight and levels of FlI:84.9±10.4 vs 72.3±17.6,Ptotal cholesterol:6.03±1.36 vs 5.76±1.21,Рlowdensity lipoprotein:3.86±1.01 vs 3.66±0.91,Рtriglyceride:3.18(2.00;4.29)vs 2.04(1.40;3.16),Рt on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
