In this study, we demonstrate the performance of silicon nanowire （SiNW） n-metal oxide semiconductor （MOS） and p-MOS ratioed inverters that are fabricated on bendable substrates. The electrical characteristics of the fabricated devices can be controlled by adjusting the load voltage. The logic swings of the n- and p-MOS ratioed inverters at a low supply voltage of 1V are 80% and 96%, respectively. The output voltage level of the p-MOS ratioed inverter is close to rail-to-rail operation. The device also exhibits stable characteristics with good fatigue properties. Our bendable SiNW ratioed inverters show promise as a candidate building block for future bendable electronics.

This paper presents a detailed account of the effect of shipping activity on the increasing trends of air temperatures in the Canadian Arctic region for the period of 1980–*** trend of temperature has gained significant attention with respect to shipping activities and sea ice area in the Canadian ***,sea ice area and shipping traffic datasets were investigated,and simple linear regression analyses were conducted to predict the rate of change(per decade)of the average temperature,considering winter(January)and summer(July)*** results indicate that temperature generally increased over the studied *** warming trend was observed during July,with an increase of up to 1℃,for the Canadian Arctic *** increasing trend of temperature was observed during July from the lower to higher *** increase in temperature during July is speculated to increase the melting of *** also show a decline in sea ice area has a significant positive effect on the shipping traffic,and the numbers of marine vessel continue to increase in the *** increase in temperature causes the breaking of sea ice due to shipping activities over northern Arctic Canada.

A Case of Angioleiomyoma of the Maxillary Sinus

Angioleiomyoma (ALM) is a benign tumor that occurs most frequently in the subcutaneous tissue of the upper and lower extremities. ALM arising in the sinonasal tract is rare, with fewer than 1% of cases presenting in this region. Only two cases localized to the sinuses have been reported to date in the literature. We report a case of a 30-year-old man complaining of a headache noted to have a concomitant lesion in the maxillary sinus. Histopathological examination following surgical resection confirmed a diagnosis of ALM. This report is the first known report of ALM limited to the maxillary sinus, and the first report to present the imaging data in the ALM in the sinus.

Herein, we report a new and simple method for the preparation of metallic copper nanospheres- decorated cellulose nanofiber composite （CuNSsJCNFs）. Initially, the cellulose acetate nanofibers （CANFs） were electrospun followed by deacetylation and anionization to produce functional anionic cellulose nanofibers ff-CNFs）. The CuCl2 precursor was deposited on thef-CNFs （CuC12/CNFs） by a simple dipping method. Then the CuCIdCNFs were reduced under vacuum by using aluminum foil to produce the CuNSs/ CNFs. The resultant CuNSs/CNFs composite was characterized by various microscopic and spectroscopic methods. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-Ir） confirmed the successful functionalization of anionic groups with the CNFs. The field emission scanning electron microscopy （FE-SEM） and transmission electron microscope （TEM） results confirmed the formation of CuNSs on the surface of CNFs. From the scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy （SEM-EDS） analysis, the weight percentage of Cu was found to be 23.5 wt%. The successful reduction of CuO to metallic Cu was confirmed by X-ray photoemission spectroscopy （XPS） and X-ray diffraction （XrD） analyses. Mechanism has been proposed for the formation of metallic Cu sphere on CNFs.

Herein, we report a simple and effective preparation of ultrafine CNFs （u-CNFs） with high surface area via electrospinning of two immiscible polymers [polyacrylonitrile （PAN） and poly（methyl methacry- late）（PMMA）] followed by calcination at high temperature in an inert atmosphere. Various electrospinning conditions were optimized in detail. Four different kinds of PAN/PMMA ratios （10/0, 7：3, 5：5 and 3：7） were chosen and found that the PAN/PMMA ratio of 3：7 （PAN/PMMA-3：7） is the optimum one. BET anal- ysis showed the specific surface area of the u-CNFs-3：7 was 46Z57 m2/g with an excellent pore volume （1.15 cms g-l） and an average pore size （9.48 nm）： it is about 25 times higher than the conventional CNFs （c-CNFs）. TEM and FE-SEM images confirmed the ultrafine structure of the CNFs with a thinner fiber di- ameter of-50 nm. The graphitic nature and atomic arrangement of the u-CNFs were investigated by raman and XPS analyses. For the supercapacitor application, unlike the common electrode preparation methods, the u-CNFs-3：7 was used without any activation, chemical or mechanical modifications. The u-CNFs- 3：7 showed a better specific capacitance of 86 Fig in 1 mol/L 1-12S04 when compared to pure CNFs. The excellent physicochemical properties make the u-CNFs-3：7 an alternative choice to the existing CNFs for the supercapacitors.

Objective:To explore the prevalence,pathogenicity,and antibiotic susceptibility patterns of urinary tract infections at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching ***:Samples from 400 patients with a presumptive diagnosis of urinary tract infection including 250 non pregnant females and 150 males were used for this *** were distributed into two groups: children aged 2 to 17(Croup A) and adults aged 18 to 75(Croup B).The standard wire loop and agar diffusion technique were employed for culture and susceptibility testing,*** obtained were analysed using SPSS,version ***:30.0%of Group A and 41.0%of Group B had significant bacteriuria with 66.7%and 79.3%as females,*** commonest isolates cultured were Escherichia coli(32.8%),Staphylococcus aureus(17.2%),and Klebsiella spp.(16.4%).About 76.6%of isolates were sensitive to the fluorinated quinolones,31.2%to the aminoglycosides,and 22.7%to the urinary antiseptic,*** isolates were nonsensitive to tetracycline(93.8%),cotrimoxazole(92.2%),and nalidixic acid(86.7%).Most isolates showed non-uniform sensitivity patterns to the cephaloporins(cefuroxime and ceftazidime). Pseudomonas *** were generally resistant to the fluorinated ***: Though the fluorinated quinolones are still largely effective for empirical therapy in urinary tract infections,the importance of prior sensitivity testing in checking the emergence of bacterial antibiotic resistance can not be overemphasized.
