Dimensions of emotional distress among Brazilian workers in a cOVID-19 reference hospital:A factor analytical study

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) are an uncommon group of tumors of mesenchymal origin. GIST of the anal canal is extremely rare. At present, only 10 cases of c-kit positive anal GIST have been reported in the literature. There is no widely accepted treatment approach for this neoplasia. Literature is sparse on imaging evaluation of anal canal GIST, usually described as a lesion in the intersphincteric space. We describe the case of a 73-year-old man with a mass in the anal canal, and no other symptoms. Endoanal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging showed a well circumscribed solid nodule in the intersphincteric space. The patient was treated by local excision. Gross pathological examination showed a 7 cm × 3.5 cm × 3 cm mass, and histological examination showed a proliferation of spindle cells, with prominent nuclear palisading. The mitotic count was of 12 mitoses/50 HPf. The tumor was positive for KIT protein, cD34 and vimentin in the majority of cells, and negative for desmin and S100. A diagnosis of GIST, with high risk aggressive behavior was made. An abdomino-perineal resection was discussed, but refused. The follow-up included clinical evaluation and anal ultrasound. After 5 years the patient is well, with maintained continence and no evidence of local recurrence.

Assessing the Impact of Internet of Everything Technologies in football

Internet of Things has been one of the hottest technology concepts of recent years. It started with the wearable devices and any digital device connected online, and evolved to a web connected network linking everything from devices, sensors, machines, people, processes, companies, and so on, creating the Interact of Everything concept. There are many application areas, but one stands out due to its popularization and importance to industry, Sports, and specifically football. football has been reinventing itself with the implementation of technology, recreating the formula used in the United States Major Sports, where technology helps to enhance the spectacle experience, expand game analysis by coaches, players, and media, provide live refereeing and improve health recoveries and detection of injuries. This research is a state-of-situation regarding technology in football, recognizing the presently used technologies and what could be implemented, and ultimately measuring the impact of these devices in football.

The tensile and fracture behaviors of AA6061 alloy were investigated in order to provide quantitative data about this alloy at cryogenic *** of AA6061 alloy were solution heat treated before tensile tests at 298,173 and 77 K and tested at strain rates in the range from 0.1 to 0.0001 s^(−1).The results indicate the suppression of the Portevin−Le chatelier(PLc)effect and dynamic strain aging(DSA)at 77 *** contrast,at 298 K,a remarkable serrated flow,characteristic of the PLc effect,is ***,the tensile behavior at 77 K,compared with that observed at 173 and 298 K,shows a simultaneous increase in strength,uniform elongation,modulus of toughness,strain-hardening exponent and strain rate sensitivity,which is related to a decrease in the dynamic recovery rate at low *** responses are reflected on the fracture morphology,since the dimple size decreases at 77 K,while the area covered by dimples *** of the Johnson−cook model show that a good agreement can be obtained for tests at 173 and 77 K,in which DSA is suppressed.

Intelligent autonomous vehicles have received a great degree of attention in recent years. Although the technology required for these vehicles is relatively advanced, the challenge is firstly to ensure that drivers can understand the capabilities and limitations of such systems and secondly to design a system that can handle the interaction between the driver and the automated intelligent system. In this study, we describe an approach using different strategies for an autonomous system and a driver to drive a vehicle cooperatively. The proposed strategies are referred to as cooperative planning and control and determine when and how the path projected by the autonomous system can be changed safely by the driver to a path that he wishes to follow. The first phase of the project is described, covering the design and implementation of an autonomous test vehicle. Experiments are carried out with a driver to test the cooperative planning and control concepts proposed here.

The assessment of detrital zircon age records is a key method in basin analysis,but it is prone to several biases that may compromise accurate sedimentary provenance *** to ultrahigh temperature(HT-UHT)metamorphism(especially if T>850℃)is herein presented as a natural cause of bias in provenance studies based on U-Pb detrital zircon ages,since zircon from rocks submitted to these extreme and often prolonged conditions frequently yield protracted,apparently concordant,geochronological *** age spreading can result from disturbance of the primary U-Pb zircon system,likewise from(re)crystallization processes during multiple and/or prolonged metamorphic *** this contribution,available geochronological data on Archean,Neoproterozoic and Palaeozoic HT-UHT metamorphic rocks,acquired by different techniques(SIMS and LA-IcP-MS)and showing distinct compositions,are reassessed to demonstrate HT-UHT metamorphism may result in modes and age distributions of unclear geological *** a consequence,it may induce misinterpretations on UPb detrital zircon provenance analyses,particularly in sedimentary rocks metamorphosed under such extreme temperature *** evaluate the presence of HT-UHT metamorphism-related bias in the detrital zircon record,we suggest a workflow for data acquisition and interpretation,combining a multi-proxy approach with:(i)in situ U-Pb dating coupled with Hf analyses to retrieve the isotopic composition of the sources,and(ii)the integration of a petrochronological investigation to typify fingerprints of the HT-UHT metamorphic *** proposed workflow is validated in the investigation of one theoretical and one natural example allowing a better characterization of the sedimentary sources,maximum depositional ages,and the tectonic setting of the *** workflow allows to the appraisal of biases imposed by HT-UHT metamorphism and resulting disturbances in the U-Pb detrital zircon record,particularly for sedimentary
