We demonstrated a unique synthesis approach of graphene（GR）-wrapped AgPO/LaCOOH（APO/LCO）heterostructures by an in-situ wet chemical method. FEsEM analysis reveals the formation of rhombic dodecahedrons of APO decorated with LCO and later wrapped with GR flakes. Optical studies shows two absorption edges corresponding to the band gap energies of APO（2.41 eV） and LCO（4.1 eV）. Considering the absorption edge of the heterostructures in the visible region, the photocatalytic activities of photocatalysts containing different APO/LCO mass ratios were evaluated by the degradation of MB. GR-decorated composite with 20% LCO（APO/LCO20/GR） exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity for MB degradation, with a rate constant, k of 0.541 min. The photocatalytic activity of APO/LCO20/GR more greatly enhanced than those of the individual constituents（APO, LCO, APO/LCO20）. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of the heterostructure can be attributed to the co-catalytic effect of LCO as well as intriguing physicochemical properties of GR. To understand the enhanced photocatalytic activity of the heterostructures the photocatalytic reaction mechanism is proposed in detail. The recyclability of the APO/LCO/GR composite photocatalyst is further evaluated by reusing the catalyst in replicate photocatalytic experiments which shows consistent photocatalytic activity thereby confirms the stability and reusability of heterostructure photocatalyst.

The topological insulators Bi_(2-x)Fe_(x)se_(3-x)s_(x) have been investigated by the dc-magnetization,magnetotransport and angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPEs)*** doping of Fe and s,a negative giant magneto-resistance(MR)is observed for parallel electric and magnetic fields(H||E).The MR behavior at lower magnetic field can be explained with the semi-classical theory whereas the MR behavior at higher field has been attributed to the axial ***,the system reached to the quantum limit at low magnetic field(~4.5T).The magnetic ordering can be explained with the presence of both the RKKY(surface)and van-Vleck(bulk)*** ARPEs study reveals that a surface gap is suppressed when the magnetic ordering changes from ferromagnetic to anti-ferromagnetic *** ARPEs study and the appearance of quantum oscillations(sdH)in the resistivity pattern reveal that the topological surface property is preserved with the co-doping of Fe and s.

The current work describes the synthesis of a new bio-waste derived cellulosic-carbon supportedpalladium nanoparticles enriched magnetic nanocatalyst(Pd/Fe_(3)O_(4)@C)using a simple multi-step process under aerobic *** mild reaction conditions,the Pd/Fe_(3)O_(4)@C magnetic nanocatalyst demonstrated excellent catalytic activity in the Hiyama cross-coupling reaction for a variety of ***,the Pd/Fe_(3)O_(4)@C magnetic nanocatalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity up to five recycles without significant catalytic activity loss in the Hiyama cross-coupling ***,we explored the use of Pd/Fe_(3)O_(4)@C magnetic nanocatalyst as an electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution ***,the Pd/Fe_(3)O_(4)@C magnetic nanocatalyst exhibited better electrochemical activity compared to bare carbon and magnetite(Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles)with an overpotential of 293 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(–2).

spur gears are widely used in the power transmission mechanism of several *** to the transmitted torque,spur gears experience high stresses which could cause gear tooth failure by surface pitting or root *** relief and other gear profile modification have been considered for reducing the induced stresses in the gear *** this work,the influence of tip relief on stresses on a pair of identical spur gear was analyzed using commercial FEA software ANsYs,and formulae for estimating contact and bending stresses were *** cases of gear sets were analyzed;a non-modified pair and another two sets with linear and parabolic tip relief *** non-modified gear set frictionless contact stress was validated against the calculated AGMA pitting resistance,Hertzian contact stress and a reported contact stress value in the *** four methods agreed well with each ***,bending stress was also compared with the AGMA bending strength and Lewis bending stress for ***,friction coefficient was varied from 0.0 to 0.3 with increment of *** gear contact stress increased up to 11%relative to the frictionless case,whereas bending stress decreased by 6%.Linear tip relief modification was carried out for increasing normalised tip relief values of 0.25 to 1.0 with increment of *** gear frictionless contact and bending stresses decreased by a maximum of 4%and 2%,*** contact stress increased by up to 7.1%and the bending stress is almost identical with the frictionless *** tip relief was also carried out with similar normalised tip relief *** contact stress decreased by 5%while frictional contact stress increased by up to 11.5%and the bending stress is also almost identical with the frictionless ***,four formulae were introduced for estimating the contact and bending stresses for a tip modified spur gear.

The coastal ecosystems are highly sensitive to climate change and are usually influenced by variations in phytoplankton communities and water physiochemical *** the present study,the phytoplankton community,chlorophyll a(Chl a)and their relationships with environmental variables and dimethylsulfide(DMs)and dimethylsulfoniopropionate(DMsP)were investigated in spring 2017(March 24 to April 16)in the East China sea(26.0°-33.0°N,120.0°-128.0°E)and southern Yellow sea(31.0°-36.0°N,120.0°-125.0°E).The spatial distributions of phytoplankton species composition and cell density were investigated by qualitative and quantitative methods and were compared with historical data to study phytoplankton species succession in the survey *** results showed that there were 275 phytoplankton species belonging to 90 genera and 6 phyla in the survey area,of which 208 species belonged to 62 genera of Bacillariophyta and 56 species belonged to 20 genera of *** dominant phytoplankton species were skeletonema dohrnii,Chaetoceros vanheurckii and Prorocentrum *** phytoplankton cell densities ranged from 0.06×10^(4)cells/L to 418.73×10^(4)cells/L,with an average value of 21.46×10^(4)cells/*** spring,the average ratio of Bacillariophyta/Pyrrophyta was41.13 for the entire study *** areas with high phytoplankton cell density were mainly distributed in the northern south Yellow sea and offshore waters of the East China *** to a canonical correspondence analysis among phytoplankton and environmental parameters,the water Chl a concentrations were notably consistent with phytoplankton cell density(Pshowed significant negative correlations with salinity and nitrite(Psignificant positive correlations with dissolved oxygen and pH(Ps a significant positive correlation between diatom(both in cell density and in dominant species)and DMs(Ps play a greater role in DMs production in t
