The resonant third-harmonic generation of a tion was investigated. Because of self-focusing self-focusing laser in plasma with a density transi- of the fundamental laser pulse, a transverse intensity gradient was created, which generated a plasma wave at the fundamental wave frequency. phase matching was satisfied by using a Wiggler magnetic field, which provided additional angular too- mentum to the third-harmonic photon to make the process resonant. An enhancement was observed in the resonant third-harmonic generation of an intense short-pulse laser in plasma embedded with a magnetic Wiggler with a density transition. A plasma density ramp played an important role in the self-focusing, enhancing the third-harmonic generation in plasma. We also examined the ef- fect of the Wiggler magnetic field on the pulse slippage of the third-harmonic pulse in plasma. The pulse slippage was due to the group-velocity mismatch between the fundamental and third-harmonic pulses.

Different parts of plant species belonging to Solanaceae and Fabaceae families were screened for L-asparaginase enzyme （E.C.3.***.1.1.）. Among 34 plant species screened for L-asparaginase enzyme. Withania somnifera L. was identified as a potential source of the enzyme on the basis of high specific activity of the enzyme. The enzyme was purified and characterized from W. somnifera, a popular medicinal plant in South East Asia and Southern Europe. purification was carried out by a combination of protein precipitation with ammonium sulfate as well as Sephadex-gel filtration. The purified enzyme is a homodimer, with a molecular mass of 72 ± 0.5 kDa as estimated by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresisand size exclusion chromatography. The enzyme has a pH optimum of 8.5 and an optimum temperature of 37 ℃. The Km value for the enzyme is 6.1 × 10^-2 mmol/L. This is the first report for L-asparaginase from W. somnifera, a traditionally used Indian medicinal plant.

The paper presents a five-level common ground type(5L-CGT),transformer-less inverter topology with double voltage *** proposed inverter uses eight switches and two capacitors,charged at input voltage *** inverter in its basic form acts as a string inverter for low-power pV ***,it can be extended to work as a scalable multi-level inverter with higher power handling capability to act as a centralized *** working of the inverter with the sizing of the components is presented with mathematical *** efficiency of the proposed pV inverter is found using thermal losses associated with switches using pLECS software.A prototype of 1 kW has been designed,and experimentation has been carried *** loads with a lagging power factor up to 0.6 have been tested with the inverter to establish the usability of the proposed inverter in a worst-case emulated homeuse *** total harmonic distortion(THD)at the output has been recorded using a power quality analyzer with voltage and current THD values of 4.5%and 2.5%,respectively,which lies within the limits of IEEE 519 *** highest power conversion efficiency of the inverter has been recorded to be 96.20%.

Automatic speech recognition systems are developed for translating the speech signals into the corresponding text *** translation is used in a variety of applications like voice enabled commands,assistive devices and bots,*** is a significant lack of efficient technology for Indian *** this paper,an wavelet transformer for automatic speech recognition(WTASR)of Indian language is *** speech signals suffer from the problem of high and low frequency over different times due to variation in speech of the ***,wavelets enable the network to analyze the signal in *** wavelet decomposition of the signal is fed in the network for generating the *** transformer network comprises an encoder decoder system for speech *** model is trained on Indian language dataset for translation of speech into corresponding *** proposed method is compared with other state of the art *** results show that the proposed WTASR has a low word error rate and can be used for effective speech recognition for Indian language.

passive optical networks (pONs) offer suffi-cient bandwidth to transfer huge amount having different packet sizes and data rates being generated by fusion of various networks. Additionally, multiple optical line terminals (OLTs) pONs reduce the computational com-plexity of data processing for nonuniform traffic. However, in order to improve the bandwidth allocation efficiency of a mixture of service providers, dynamic bandwidth algo-rithm (DBA) is needed for uplink communication. In this paper, a pON based open access network (OAN) is analyzed for bi-directional communication at various data rates. Multiple wavelengths are used to modulate the data of various service providers to evade the complicated DBA for uplink data broadcasting. The performance of the network is reported in terms of bandwidth exploitation, uplink effectiveness, overhead-to-data ratio and time cycle duration. The network is analyzed at various data rates to reveal the data accommodation capacity.

Application of Fractional Order pID Controller for AGC Under Deregulated Environment

In this paper, a fractional order proportional integral derivative （FOpID） controller for multiarea automatic generation control （AGC） scheme has been designed. FOpID controller has five parameters and provides two additional degrees of flexibility in comparison to a proportional integral derivative （pID） controller. The optimal values of parameters of FOpID controller have been determined using Big Bang Big Crunch （BBBC） search algorithm. The designed controller regulates real power output of generators to achieve the best dynamic response of frequency and tie-line power on a load perturbation. The complete scheme for designing of the controllers has been developed and demonstrated on multiarea deregulated power system. The performance of the designed FOpID controllers has been compared with the optimally tuned pID controllers. It is observed from the results that the FOpID controller shows a considerable improvement in the performance as compared to the conventional pID controller.
