Vidangadi churna is a popular Ayurvedic formulation described in the chapter Krimicikitsa of the Ayurvedic literature Cakradatta for the treatment of Krimiroga. The preparation is a composite mixture of the fine powder of fruits of Vidang （Embelia ribs）, glandular trichomes of the fruits of Kamala （Mallotus philippensis）, mature fruits of Harde （Terminalia chehula）, Saindhava and Yavakshara. The use of reversed phase C18 column eluted with gradient mobile phase of acetonitrile and water enabled the efficient separation of the chemical markers in 22 rain. Validation of the method was performed in order to demonstrate its selectivity, accuracy, precision, repeatability and recovery. All calibration curves showed good linear correlation coefficients （r2〉0.995） within the tested ranges. Three markers in Vidangadi churna were quantitied with respect to Embelin （0.647%, w/w）, rottlerin （4.419%, w/w）, and Ellagic acid （0.459%, w/w）. lntraand inter-day rSDs of retention times and peak areas were less than 3.12%. The recoveries were between 99.66% and 102.33%. In conclusion, a method has been developed for the simultaneous quantification of three markers in Vidangadi churna. The rP-HPLC method was simple, precise and accurate and can be used for the quality control of the raw materials as well as formulations.

Gas flow in shales follows a number of physical mechanisms that include Knudsen diffusion,Darcy flow,and adsorption in the matrix and micro *** aim of the study is to resolve the interplay of gas transport in these media at increased effective stress as well as net pore *** this research,we investigated the nature of gas transport in the matrix of shale by sending He,CH_(4)and CO_(2)gases through a transient upstream pressure pulse decay instrument.A series of experiments were conducted at constant pore pressures and a gradually increasing confining *** same study was done in three different scenarios,injecting He,CO_(2)and CH_(4).At a constant pore pressure,gas permeability appears to decrease with an increasing confining pressure and effective *** increasing effective stress,the slip factor also decreases along with the *** decrease in slip could be attributed to prestressing,that is likely to create new *** the three purged gases,permeability of shale to CH_(4)is the highest,and that to CO_(2)is the lowest owing to its high *** permeability of CH_(4)against He,could be attributed to the dual transport mechanism.

Simvastatin, a BCS class II drug, is associated with poor aqueous solubility, first-pass metabolism and short half-life. In the present work, nanoparticles were prepared and evaluated. Optimization of formulation and process parameters was done through the use of independent and dependent variables. Preliminary studies were done to determine suitable range of the concentration of Eudragit polymer (10%–30%) and the ratio of drug to polymer (1:1 to 1:5) for the formation of nanoparticles by emulsification and a solvent evaporation technique. results revealed that the mean size of nanoparticles was affected by stirring speed from 5000 rPM, 8000 rPM, and 12000 rPM. The results of increase in association efficiency and percent yield with increase in amount of drug from 100 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg in selected range were observed. In-vitro release studies showed that two formulations possess highest initial burst and slow sustained drug release. There was 2.93-fold decrease in total cholesterol and 3.27-fold increases in triglyceride level during in-vivo study.

Our research is centered on the Gandhar oil field, which was discovered in 1983, where daily oil production has declined significantly over the years. The primary objective was to evaluate the feasibility of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) storage through its injection into the siliciclastic reservoirs of Ankleshwar Formation. We aimed to obtain high-resolution acoustic impedance data to estimate porosity employing model-based poststack seismic inversion. We conducted an analysis of the density and effective porosity in the target zone through geostatistical techniques and probabilistic neural networks. Simultaneously, the work also involved geomechanical analysis through the computation of pore pressure and fracture gradient using well-log data, geological information, and drilling events in the Gandhar field. Our investigation unveiled spatial variations in effective porosity within the Hazad Member of the Ankleshwar Formation, with an effective porosity exceeding 25% observed in several areas, which indicates the presence of well-connected pore spaces conducive to efficient CO_(2) migration. Geomechanical analysis showed that the vertical stress(Sv) ranged from 55 MPa to 57 MPa in Telwa and from 63.7 MPa to 67.7 MPa in Hazad Member. The pore pressure profile displayed variations along the stratigraphic sequence, with the shale zone, particularly in the Kanwa Formation, attaining the maximum pressure gradient(approximately 36 MPa). However, consistently low pore pressure values(30-34 MPa) considerably below the fracture gradient curves were observed in Hazad Member due to depletion. The results from our analysis provide valuable insights into shaping future field development strategies and exploration of the feasibility of CO_(2) sequestration in Gandhar Field.

Menopause is characterized by various physical,mental and emotional *** 731®is a standardized extract from rheum rhaponticum root and has been clinically studied for its role in reducing menopausal *** current systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the efficacy of Err 731®supplementation in alleviating the severity of menopausal *** this review,we searched across three online databases up to March 2023,evaluated the quality of the included studies by the Physiotherapy Evidence Database scale,and assessed the risk of bias by the Cochrane risk of Bias *** then performed a metaanalysis using revMan software to estimate the pooled mean difference(MD).The study protocol was registered in the Prospective register of Systematic reviews(CrD42023416808).After screening and evaluation,we included four high-quality studies(a total of 390 participants;the Err 731®group:193 participants;the control group:197 participants)in the *** results showed that Err 731®supplementation significantly reduced the Menopause rating Scale score(MD:–15.12;Pred with control *** analysis revealed no effect of individual studies on the overall pooled estimate or overall observed *** current review provides evidence that Err 731®supplementation is effective in reducing menopause *** bias and high heterogeneity in the results warrant further clinical studies.
