m.coadhesion can be defined as a state in which two com.onents, of which one is of biological origin, are held together for extended periods of tim. by the help of interfacial forces. Am.ng the various transm.cosal routes, buccal m.cosa has excellent accessibility and relatively im.obile m.cosa, hence suitable for adm.nistration of retentive dosage form. The objective of this paper is to review the works done so far in the field of m.coadhe- sire buccal drug delivery system. （m.DDS）, with a clinical perspective. Starting with a brief introduction of the m.coadhesive drug delivery system., oral m.cosa, and the theories of m.coadhesion, this article then proceeds to cover the works done so far in the field of m.DDS, categorizing them.on the basis of ailm.nts they are m.ant to cure. Additionally, we focus on the various patents, recent advancem.nts, and challenges as well as the future prospects for m.coadhesive buccal drug delivery system..

We dem.nstrate that a scotogenic dark sym.etry can be obtained as a residual subgroup of the global U(1)B−L sym.etry already present in the Standard *** addition,we propose a general fram.work in which the U(1)B−L sym.etry is spontaneously broken into an even Z2n subgroup,setting the general conditions for neutrinos to be m.jorana and for dark m.tter stability to exist in term. of the residual *** an exam.le,under this general fram.work,we build a class of sim.le m.dels where,in a scotogenic m.nner,the dark m.tter candidate is the lightest particle running inside the m.ss loop of a *** global U(1)B−L sym.etry in our fram.work,being anom.ly free,can also be gauged in a straightforward m.nner leading to a richer phenom.nology.

Inhibition of Carcinogen-induced Activity of γ-Glutam.l Transpeptidase by Certain Dietary Constituents in m.use Skin

Cancer chem.prevention, a desirable and im.ortant facet of biom.dical research, Provides a practical approach to identify potentially useful inhibitors of cancer developm.nt, and offers an opportunity to study the m.chanism.of carcinogenesis. During the recent past a nuInber of com.ounds have been tested for their anticarcinogenic potential specially constituents of hum.n diet. The enzym. y-glutam.l transpeptidase (CGT), which catalyses the transfer of glutam.l gnups of peptides to other peptides and am.no acids, has been proposed as a m.rker of cell proliferation and neoplasia. It also serves as a tool to evaluate the carcinogenic and cocareinogenic poential of environm.ntal toxicants. In the present investigations, GGT activity induced by carcinogenic polycyclic arom.tic hydrocarbons, viz. 7, 12-dim.thyl-benz(a) anthracene (Dm.A) and benzo(a)Pyrene (BaP was significantly inhibited by diallylsulfide (DAS) and indole-3-carbinol (13C) in m.use skin. DAS and 13C are Constituents of garlic. A significant inhibition in GGT levels was also observed in a strong m.togen (12-o-tetradecanoyl phorbol-13-acelate) induced activity by pretreatm.nt of DAS/13C in m.use skin. Therefore these dielary constituents seem.to be strong m.difiers of chem.cally induced carcinogenesis.

Water and nutrient m.nagem.nt effects on water use and yield of drip irrigated citrus in vertisol under a sub-hum.d region

Scarcity of water and nutrients in orchards are the m.jor causes of low productivity and decline of citrus in tropics. With a hypothesis that the optim.l am.unt of water and nutrients application through drip irrigation （DI） could save substantial irrigation and fertilizers com.arative to that under traditional basin irrigation （BI） with band placem.nt of fertilizer （BPF）, this study was conducted in citrus in vertisol of central India. Three DI regim.s： I1, I2 and I3 scheduled at 50% class-A pan evaporation rate （Ep）, 75% Ep, and 100% Ep atong with three fertilizer doses： F1, F2 and F3 at 50% recom.ended dose of fertilizer （RDF, N：P2Os：K20=600 g：200 g：100 g）, 75% of RDF and 100% of RDF were applied to m.ndai＇in plants respectively. BI with band placem.nt of fertilizer （BPF） at 100% RDF was taken for com.arison. All the drip-fertigation treatm.nts （except I1F1） produced higher plant growth and fruit yield, with better quality fruits com.ared with BI＋BPF. The highest fruit yield （16.39t ha^-1）, water use efficiency （3.9 kg m.-3） and fertilizer use efficiency （87.3 kg kg^-1） were observed in I2F2. The concentrations of N, K and Fe in leaves were significantly higher in I2F2 com.ared to other treatm.nts. The leaf photosynthesis, stom.tal conductance （G） and transpiration were the highest in I3F3. However, leaf water use efficiency （LWUE, photosynthesis/transpiration） was the highest in I2F2. The overall results of this study dem.nstrated that the application of optim.m.quantity of water and fertilizers （I2F2） through DI could be a productive and water efficient option in citrus production in vertisol.

Lightning Activity and Its Relationship with Typhoon Intensity and Vertical Wind Shear for Super Typhoon Haiyan (1330)

Super Typhoon Halyan （1330）, which occurred in 2013, is the m.st powerful typhoon during landfall in the m.teorological record. In this study, the tem.oral and spatial distributions of lightning activity of Haiyan were analyzed by using the lightning data from.the World Wide Lightning Location Network, typhoon intensity and position data from.the China m.teorological Adm.nistration, and horizontal wind data from.the ECm.F. Three distinct regions were identified in the spatial distribution of daily average lightning density, with the m.xim. in the inner core and the m.nim. in the inner rainband. The lightning density in the intensifying stage of Haiyan was greater than that in its weakening stage. During the tim. when the typhoon intensity m.asured with m.xim.m.sustained wind speed was between 32.7 and 41.4 m.s-1, the storm.had the largest lightning density in the inner core, com.ared with other intensity stages. In contrast to earlier typhoon studies, the eyewall lightning burst out three tim.s. The first two eyewall lightning outbreaks occurred during the period of rapid intensification and before the m.xim.m.intensity of the storm. suggesting that the eyewall lightning activity could be used to identify the change in tropical cyclone intensity. The flashes frequently occurred in the inner core, and in the outer rainbands with the black body tem.erature below 220 K. Com.ined with the ECm.F wind data, the influences of vertical wind shear （VWS） on the azim.thal distribution of flashes were also analyzed, showing that strong VWS produced downshear left asym.etry of lightning activity in the inner core and downshear right asym.etry in the ralnbands.

We have synthesized and characterized a new electrolum.nescent m.terial, [8-hydroxyquinoline] bis[2,2＇bipyridine] alum.num. A solution of this m.terial Al（Bpy）2q in toluene showed absorption m.xim. at 380 nm.which was attributed to the m.derate energy（ π–π＊） transitions of the arom.tic rings. The photolum.nescence spectrum.of Al（Bpy）_2q in the toluene solution showed a peak at 518 nm. This m.terial shows therm.l stability up to300 ℃. The structure of the device is ITO/F4-TCNQ（1 nm./α-NPD（35 nm./Al（Bpy）2q（35 nm./ BCP（6 nm./Alq3（28 nm./Li F（1 nm./Al（150 nm.. This device exhibited a lum.nescence peak at 515 nm.CIE coordinates, xD0.32,yD0.49）. The m.xim.m.lum.nescence of the device was 214 cd/m.2 at 21 V. The m.xim.m.current efficiency of OLED was 0.12 cd/A at 13 V and the m.xim.m.power efficiency was 0.03 lm.W at 10 V.

A new electrolum.nescent m.terial tris- [5-choloro-8-hydroxyquinoline] alum.num.has been synthesized and characterized. Solution of this m.terial AI（5-Clq）3 in toluene showed absorption m.xim. at 385 nm.which was attributed to the m.derate energy （π-π＊） transitions of the arom.tic rings. The photolum.nescence spectrum.of AI（5-Clq）3 in toluene solution showed a peak at 522 nm. This m.terial shows therm.l stability up to 400 ℃. The structure of the device is ITO/0.4 wt%F4-TCNQ doped α-NPD （35 nm. / AI（5-Clq）3 （30 nm. / BCP （6 nm./ Alq3 （30 nm. / LiF （1 nm. / A1 （150 nm.. This device exhibited a lum.nescence peak at 585 nm.（CIE coordinates, x = 0.39, y = 0.50）. The m.xim.m.lum.nescence of the device was 920 Cd/m. at 25 V. The m.xim.m.current efficiency of OLED was 0.27 Cd/A at 20 V and m.xim.m.power efficiency was 0.04 lm.W at 18 V.
