Comparative Studies of Different Organs of Nyctanthes arbortristis in Modulation of Cytokines in Murine Model of Arthritis

Objective To study the modulation effect of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines following long term use of water soluble ethanol extracts from different organs of Nyctanthes arbortristis （NAT） in mouse model of arthritis. Methods Arthritis was induced in mice by two injections of Freund＇s complete adjuvant on days 0 and 12 in the sub-planter surface of the right hind paw. Results Injection of adjuvant resulted in a maximum primary edema of the footpad with erythema, and edema and distortion of joints of the right hind paw after 24-48 hours. Second injection of FCA led to the formation of secondary swellings persisting more than four weeks that spread onto the other hind limb but to a lesser extent. Histological analysis of the ankle on day 47 showed marked evidence of cartilage destruction in association with pannus formation and moderate bone resorption. proinfiammatory cytokine levels in the inflamed joint homogenate were elevated on days 2, 14, and 47. Oral administration of leaf and fruit extracts in arthritic mice reduced joint homogenate levels of tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-1β, and interleukin-6 on days 2, 14, and 47 in comparison to untreated arthritic mice. Intedeukin-10 level was elevated in the inflamed joint on days 2, 14, and 47 in comparisons to untreated arthritic mice. Confusion Evidence of lesser inflammation of the footpad and joint and associated histological observation support the therapeutic benefit of leaf and fruit extracts from Nyctanthes arbortristis. This study helps in understanding the mechanism of anti-inflammatory action of Nyctanthes arbortristis in the light of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokine balance.

palaeodiet of Miocene producers and Depositional Environments:Inferences from the First Evidence of Microcoprolites from India

This paper reviews research on coprolites from India,providing the first evidence of microcoprolites from the early Miocene(Aquitanian)Khari Nadi Formation sedimentary succession,exposed about 1.5 km northeast of the village of Kotada,Kachchh(Kutch)District,Gujarat State,western *** and size comparisons(in a statistical framework)with known coprolites from the Mesozoic-Cenozoic successions of India(including those recorded herein)and globally suggest that fishes were the likely producers of the Kotada *** electron microscopy confirms the presence of fish dental remains within the coprolites,while both Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy(EDS)reveal the phosphatic nature of the microscopic coprolite specimens(recorded herein)hinting that the producer(s)were predominantly carnivorous(ichthyophagous)in their ***,X-Ray Fluorescence(XRF)analysis of the host and associated lithologies allows us to deduce that the Kotada coprolites were deposited in a shallow marine environment,with possible aerial exposure of the host lithology occurring at some point after *** the best of our knowledge,the present report is the first record of microscopic fish coprolites from India,as well as being the first from the Aquitanian of India and the oldest Neogene record from India.

Software testing has been attracting a lot of attention for effective software *** model driven approach,Unified Modelling Language(UML)is a conceptual modelling approach for obligations and other features of the system in a model-driven *** tools interpret these models into other software artifacts such as code,test data and *** generation of test cases permits the appropriate test data to be determined that have the aptitude to ascertain the *** paper focuses on optimizing the test data obtained from UML activity and state chart diagrams by using Basic Genetic Algorithm(BGA).For generating the test cases,both diagrams were converted into their corresponding intermediate graphical forms namely,Activity Diagram Graph(ADG)and State Chart Diagram Graph(SCDG).Then both graphs will be combined to form a single graph called,Activity State Chart Diagram Graph(ASCDG).Both graphs were then joined to create a single graph known as the Activity State Chart Diagram Graph(ASCDG).Next,the ASCDG will be optimized using BGA to generate the test data.A case study involving a withdrawal from the automated teller machine(ATM)of a bank was employed to demonstrate the *** approach successfully identified defects in various ATM functions such as messaging and operation.

Objective:Midge egg masses are reported to support non-pathogenic strains of the cholera *** cholera（***）.Mosquito born diseases have been reported to cause millions of death *** present research reveals the toxicity effect of spinosad and neem seed kernel extract（NSKE） against different larval stages of Anopheles stephensi（***） and Chironomus circumdatus（***）.Methods:The neem seeds were collected from Marudamalai hills,Bharathiar University,Coimbatore,*** seed kernels were powdered,extracted and diluted for different concentrations（2 ppm to 10 ppm）.Spinosad was purchased from Kalpatharu pesticide Limited,Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu,India and thoroughly mixed with distilled water to prepare various concentrations（0.01 to 0.08 ppm） and used for ***:The results depict that spinosad is more toxic in lower concentrations when compared to NSKE and mosquitoes are more susceptible than *** concentrations were evaluated using the observed *** lowest LC50 value obtained from spinosad against *** and *** were 0.002 05 ppm and 0.008 91 *** study investigated on effect of Spinosad and NSKE on the biology of *** immature stages of both species were susceptible to Spinosad and *** and NSKE in individual as well as combined treatment provided additional days in development for ***:The results conclude that Spinosad and NSKE are potential larvicides against *** and Ch. circumdatus.

This article explores the drilling behavior of polymer nanocomposites reinforced by Graphene oxide/Carbon fiber using a hybrid method of Grey theory and principal component analysis(GR-pCA).An online digital dynamometer was employed for the evaluation of Thrust Force and *** image processing technique computes the *** surface methodology(RSM)considers the parameters,namely,drilling speed(S),feed rate(F),Graphene Oxide wt.%(G)in designing the experimentation *** component analysis(pCA)was used to tackle the response priority weight during the combination of multiple *** of variance(ANOVA)scrutinized the influence of parameters and intended the regression models to predict the ***-pCA evaluated the optimal parametric setting and remarked that feed rate acts as the most predominant *** higher feed rate and wt.%of G is responsible for surface damages like fiber pull-out,fiber fracture and cracks.A significant improvement in drilling responses has been obtained and also validates through confirmatory test and microstructure investigations.

Deep learning network with Euclidean similarity factor for Brain MR Tumor segmentation and volume estimation

The major goal of this paper is to isolate tumor region from nontumor regions and the estimation of tumor *** segmentation is not an easy task due to the varying size,shape and location of the *** segmentation,volume estimation is necessary in order to accurately estimate the tumor *** exactly estimating the volume of abnormal tissue,physicians can do excellent prognosis,clinical planning and dosage *** paper describes a new Euclidean Similarity factor(ESF)based active contour model with deep learning for segmenting the tumor region into complete,core and enhanced tumor ***,the ESF considers the spatial distances and intensity differences of the region automatically to detect the tumor *** preserves the image details but removes the noisy ***,the 3D Convolutional Neural Network(3D CNN)segments the tumor by automatically extracting spatiotemporal ***,the extended shoelace method estimates the volume of the tumor accurately for n-sided *** simulation result achieves a high accuracy of 92%and Jaccard index of 0.912 and computes the tumor volume with effective performance than existing approaches.

preparation of fluconazole buccal tablet and influence of formulation expedients on its properties

The aim of present study was to prepare buccal tablets of fluconazole for oral *** dosage forms were designed to release the drug above the minimum inhibitory concentration for prolonged period of time so as to reduce the frequency of administration and to overcome the side effects of systemic *** buccal tablets were prepared by using Carbopol 71G and Noveon AA-1 by direct compression *** stalline cellulose was used as the filler and its effect was also *** prepared dosage forms were evaluated for physicochemical properties,in vitro release studies and mucoadhesive properties using sheep buccal mucosa as a model *** containing 50% of polymers(Carbopol & Noveon) were found to be the best with moderate swelling along with favorable bioadhesion force,residence time and in vitro drug *** in vitro drug release studies revealed that drug released for 8 h,which in turn may reduce dosing frequency and improved patient compliance in oral candidiasis patients.

A novel approach for part family formation using K-means algorithm

The reconfigurable manufacturing system （RMS） is the next step in manufacturing, allowing the production of any quantity of highly customized and complex parts together with the benefits of mass production. In RMSs, parts are grouped into families, each of which requires a specific system configuration. Initially system is configured to produce the first family of parts. Once it is finished, the system will be reconfigured in order to produce the second family, and so forth. The effectiveness of a RMS depends on the formation of the optimum set of part families addressing various recon figurability issues. The aim of this work is to establish a methodology for grouping parts into families for effective working of RMS. The methodology carried out in two phases. In the first phase, the correlation matrix is used as similarity coefficient matrix. In the second phase, agglomerative hier archical Kmeans algorithm is used for the parts family for mation resulting in an optimum set of part families for reconfigurable manufacturing system.
