Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+:Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors, synthesized by chemical co-precipitation technique were characterized through XRD,FESEM,dynamic light scattering(DLS),diffuse reflectance, photoluminescence, photometric and decay time analysis. The enhancement of about～28, ～149 and ～351 times in the green upconversion emission band is observed for the optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+ and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors in comparison to the singly Er^(3+) doped nanophosphors. The electric dipole-dipole interaction is found to be responsible for the concentration quenching. The temperature dependent behaviour of the two green thermally coupled levels of the Er^(3+) ions based on the fluorescence intensity ratio technique was studied. The maximum sensor sensitivity ～38.7 × 10^(-3) K^(-1) at 473 K for optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+) codoped Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors is reported with maximum population redistribution ability～88% among the ~2H_(11/2) and ~4S_(3/2) levels.

The crystal structure and surface morphology of the Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+)/Na+:ZnWO_(4) phosphors synthesized by solid state reaction method were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM) analysis.The frequency upconversion(UC) emission study in the developed phosphors was investigated by using 980 nm laser diode excitation.The effect of codoping in the Er^(3+):ZnWO_(4) phosphors on the UC emission intensity was studied.The UC emission bands that are exhibited in the blue(490 nm),green(530,552 nm),red(668 nm) and NIR(800 nm) region correspond to the ^(4)F_(7/2)→^(4)I_(15/2).^(2)H_(11/2),^(4)S_(3/2)→^(4)I_(15/2),^(4)F_(9/2)→^(4)I_(15/2) and ^(4)I9/2→^(4)I_(15/2) transitions,respectively.The temperature sensing performance of the Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Na+:ZnWO_(4) phosphors was investigated based on the 2 H_(11/2)→^(4)I_(15/2) and ^(4)S_(3/2)→^(4)I_(15/2) thermally coupled transitions of the Er^(3+)ions.The photometric study was also carried out for the developed phosphors.

In this research paper,a solar air heater with triangular fins has been experimentally analysed and optimized.Initially,an experimental set-up of a solar air heater having triangular fins has been developed at the location of 28.10°N,78.23°E.The heat transfer rate through fins and fins efficiency has been determined by the Finite Difference Method model equations.The experimental data and modeled data of response parameters have been optimized in MINITAB-17 software by the Response Surface Methodology tool.For creating the response surface design,three input parameters have been selected namely solar intensity,Reynolds number,and fin base-to-height ratio.The range of solar intensity,Reynolds number,and fin base-to-height ratio is 600 to 1000W/m^(2),4000 to 6000,and 0.4 to 0.8 respectively.The response surface design has been analyzed by calculating the outlet temperature,friction factor,Nusselt number,fin efficiency,thermal performance factor,and exergy efficiency.The optimum settings of input parameters:solar intensity is 1000 W/m^(2);Reynolds number is 4969.7,and the fin base to height ratio is 0.6060,on which these response:namely outlet temperature of 92.531℃,friction factor of 0.2350,Nusselt number of 127.761,thermal efficiency of 50.836%,thermal performance factor of 1.4947,and exergy efficiency of 8.762%.

We aim to evaluate the incidence of incontinence following laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)comparing en-bloc(Group 1)versus 2-lobe/3-lobe techniques(Group 2).We performed a retrospective review of patients undergoing EEP for benign prostaticenlargement in 12 centers between January 2020 and January 2022.Data were presented as median and interquartile range(IQR).Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate factors associated with stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and mixed urinary incontinence(MUI).There were 1711 patients in Group 1 and 3357 patients in Group 2.Patients in Group 2were significantly younger(68[62–73]years vs 69[63–74]years,P=0.002).Median(interquartile range)prostate volume(PV)wassimilar between the groups(70[52–92]ml in Group 1 vs 70[54–90]ml in Group 2,P=0.774).There was no difference in preoperativeInternational Prostate Symptom Score,quality of life,or maximum flow rate.Enucleation,morcellation,and total surgical time weresignificantly shorter in Group 1.Within 1 month,overall incontinence rate was 6.3%in Group 1 versus 5.3%in Group 2(P=0.12),and urge incontinence was significantly higher in Group 1(55.1%vs 37.3%in Group 2,P<0.001).After 3 months,the overall rate ofincontinence was 1.7%in Group 1 versus 2.3%in Group 2(P=0.06),and SUI was significantly higher in Group 2(55.6%vs 24.1%in Group 1,P=0.002).At multivariable analysis,PV and IPSS were factors significantly associated with higher odds of transient SUI/MUI.PV,surgical time,and no early apical release technique were factors associated with higher odds of persistent SUI/MUI.

Outcomes of a non-randomised audit of single pigtail suture stents in urolithiasis management of Asian patients in Singapore

Objective:Double-J(DJ)ureteric stents are commonly placed perioperatively for semirigid or flexible ureteroscopic renal surgery.It is believed that lesser stent material within the bladder mitigates stent-related symptoms.This study aimed to evaluate the J-Fil ureteral stent,a single pigtail suture stent compared with conventional DJ stent in relation to stent symptoms in an Asian population undergoing ureterorenal intervention.Methods:Based on internal audit committee recommendation approval,the records of 50 patients retrieved,available data of 41 patients who were prospectively enrolled into two groups(Group 1[J-Fil stent group],n=21 and Group 2[DJ stent group],n=20)between August 2020 to January 2021,were analysed.Parameters compared were nature of procedure,stone location and size,ease of deployment or removal,and complications.A modified universal stent symptom questionnaire was used to assess morbidity of stent symptoms within 48 h of insertion and at removal.Results:Both groups had similar median age,distribution in male to female ratio,and stone size.The overall median universal stent symptom questionnaire score at insertion was similar for bladder pain,flank or loin pain,and quality of life between Group 1 and 2;however,at removal Group 1 fared significantly better than Group 2,especially for flank or loin pain and pain at voiding.Both groups had similar ease in insertion with no hospital readmissions.Conclusion:Our audit favoured the single pigtail suture stent in Asian ureters in mitigating stent-related issues.It showed a good safety profile with easy deployment and removal.It promises a new standard in stenting.

Objective:To scrutinize the definitions of minimal invasive surgical therapy(MIST)and to investigate urologists’knowledge,attitudes,and practices for benign prostatic obstruction surgeries.Methods:A 36-item survey was developed with a Delphi method.Questions on definitions of MIST and attitudes and practices of benign prostatic obstruction surgeries were included.Urologists were invited globally to complete the online survey.Consensus was achieved when more than or equal to 70%responses were“agree or strongly agree”and less than or equal to 15%responses were“disagree or strongly disagree”(consensus agree),or when more than or equal to 70%responses were“disagree or strongly disagree”and less than or equal to 15%responses were“agree or strongly agree”(consensus disagree).Results:The top three qualities for defining MIST were minimal blood loss(n=466,80.3%),fast post-operative recovery(n=431,74.3%),and short hospital stay(n=425,73.3%).The top three surgeries that were regarded as MIST were Urolift®(n=361,62.2%),Rezum®(n=351,60.5%),and endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)(n=332,57.2%).Consensus in the knowledge section was achieved for the superiority of Urolift®,Rezum®,and iTIND®over transurethral resection of the prostate with regard to blood loss,recovery,day surgery feasibility,and post-operative continence.Consensus in the attitudes section was achieved for the superiority of Urolift®,Rezum®,and iTIND®over transurethral resection of the prostate with regard to blood loss,recovery,and day surgery feasibility.Consensus on both sections was achieved for EEP as the option with the better symptoms and flow improvement,lower retreatment rate,and better suitable for prostate more than 80 mL.Conclusion:Minimal blood loss,fast post-operative recovery,and short hospital stay were the most important qualities for defining MIST.Urolift®,Rezum®,and EEP were regarded as MIST by most urologists.

Multiple Forgery Detection in Video Using Convolution Neural Network

With the growth of digital media data manipulation in today’s era due to the availability of readily handy tampering software,the authenticity of records is at high risk,especially in video.There is a dire need to detect such problem and do the necessary actions.In this work,we propose an approach to detect the interframe video forgery utilizing the deep features obtained from the parallel deep neural network model and thorough analytical computations.The proposed approach only uses the deep features extracted from the CNN model and then applies the conventional mathematical approach to these features to find the forgery in the video.This work calculates the correlation coefficient from the deep features of the adjacent frames rather than calculating directly from the frames.We divide the procedure of forgery detection into two phases–video forgery detection and video forgery classification.In video forgery detection,this approach detect input video is original or tampered.If the video is not original,then the video is checked in the next phase,which is video forgery classification.In the video forgery classification,method review the forged video for insertion forgery,deletion forgery,and also again check for originality.The proposed work is generalized and it is tested on two different datasets.The experimental results of our proposed model show that our approach can detect the forgery with the accuracy of 91%on VIFFD dataset,90%in TDTV dataset and classify the type of forgery–insertion and deletion with the accuracy of 82%on VIFFD dataset,86%on TDTV dataset.This work can helps in the analysis of original and tempered video in various domain.

Reducing shoulder dislocation without anaesthesia or assistant:Validation of a new reduction manoeuvre

Purpose:Shoulder dislocation comprises 60%of all major joint dislocations worldwide and a number of reduction techniques are described in the literature w让h varying degrees of success.The description of a large number of techniques speaks for itself that no method is effective all the times and one should be acquainted with more than one technique.An ideal method of reduction should be simple,easily reproducible,relatively painless that can be performed unassisted without sedation or anaesthesia w让h minimal or no further complications.We report our results of using a novel method of anterior shoulder reduction described recently in the literature that claims to fulfil most of the characteristics of an ideal method if not all.Methods:This prospective study was conducted in a tertiary care centre.All the cases of primary anterior shoulder dislocation presenting within three days of injury without any associated fracture or spine trauma with or without greater tuberosity fracture were included.The reduction was done using a novel method by orthopaedic residents in all cases.The need for a second reduction attempt or anaesthesia was considered a treatment failure.Time taken for reduction,pain felt during reduction and complications if any were noted.Results:There were 47(77.04%)males and 14(22.95%)females with a mean age of(37.04±12.63)years.The new technique was effective in locating a shoulder dislocation on the first attempt in 58 of the 61 dislocated shoulders(95.08%).The remaining three shoulders were reduced on second attempt by the same technique.Sedative,pre-medication or anaesthesia was not used in any case.The average time taken for the shoulder reductio n was(130.5±25.8)sec onds and con fide nee interval(95%)124-137 s.Iatrogenic complications were not seen in any of the patients.Conclusion:This relatively painless technique of shoulder reduction is easy to acquire and practice in emergency department.The advantages of this manoeuvre and its associated safety may justly lead surgeons to select it as their p
