A new system is generated from a multi-linear form of a （2＋1）- dimensional Volterra system. Though the system is only partially integrable and needs additional conditions to possess two-soliton solutions, its （1＋1）- dimensional reduction gives an integrable equation which has been studied via reduction skills. Here, we give this （1＋1）-dimensional reduction a simple bilinear form, from which a Backlund transformation is derived and the corresponding nonlinear superposition formula is built.

In the era of the nanometer CMOS technology, due to stringent system requirements in power, performance and other fundamental physical limitations (such as mechanical reliability, thermal constraints, overall system form factor, etc.), future VLSI systems are relying more on ultra-high data rates (up to 100 Gbps/pin or 20 Tbps aggregate), scalable, re-configurable, highly compact and reliable interconnect fabric. To overcome such challenges, we first explore the use of multiband RF/wireless-interconnects which can communicate simultaneously through multiple frequency bands with low power signal transmission, reconfigurable bandwidth and excellent mechanical flexibility and reliability. We then review recent advances in RF/wireless-interconnect in four different potential application domains, which include network-on-chips (NoCs), 3-dimensional integrated circuit (3DIC), advanced memory interface and ultra-high speed contactless connectors. Based on those developments, we further propose the future research direction on future inter- and intra-VLSI interconnect system through the comparison of performance and the proper communication range for all three types of interconnects, including communication data throughput, range and power consumption (pJ/bit) among the RF/wireless-interconnects, the optical interconnects and traditional parallel repeated bus.

Benzo[a]pyrene(BaP),a ubiquitous pollutant,raises environmental health concerns due to induction of bone toxicity in the unexposed *** of F0 ancestor medaka(Oryzias latipes)to 1μg/L BaP for 21 days causes reduced vertebral bone thickness in the unexposed F3 male *** reveal the inherited modifications,osteoblast(OB)abundance and molecular signaling pathways of transgenerational BaP-induced bone thinning were *** analysis showed a reduction in OB *** of the miRNA and mRNA transcriptomes revealed the dysregulation of Wnt signaling(frzb/ola-miR-1–3p,sfrp5/ola-miR-96–5p/miR-455–5p)and bone morphogenetic protein(Bmp)signaling(bmp3/ola-miR-96–5p/miR-181b-5p/miR-199a-5p/miR-205–5p/miR-455–5p).Both pathways are major indicators of impaired bone formation,while the altered Rank signaling in osteoclasts(c-fos/miR-205–5p)suggests a potentially augmented bone ***,a typical BaP-responsive pathway,the Nrf2-mediated oxidative stress response(gst/ola-miR-181b-5p/miR-199a-5p/miR-205),was also ***,mRNA levels of epigenetic modification enzymes(e.g.,hdac6,hdac7,kdm5b)were found *** findings indicated that epigenetic factors(e.g.,miRNAs,histone modifications)may directly regulate the expression of genes associated with transgenerational BaP bone toxicity and warrants further *** identified candidate genes and miRNAs may serve as potential biomarkers for BaP-induced bone disease and as indicators of historic exposures in wild fish for conservation purposes.

A phenomenological kinetic model has been developed for the prediction of non-isothermal reversible incomplete transformations in low-carbon hypoeutectoid steels. The theoretical basis of the proposed method has its origin in a possible extension of the traditional Austin-Rickett kinetic differential equation. To critically assess the applicability of the model, a number of experiments based on computer simulations have been performed to predict the austenite/ferrite proeutectoid transformation in the temperature range of Aei to Ae3 on plain carbon hypoeutectoid steels. A comparison with published experimental data has verified that the model developed is reasonable both quantitatively and with respect to well-established trends. Extension of the method of prediction appears promising when the non-isothermal reactions occurring during heat treatment (such as carbide precipitation and dissolution) can be assumed to proceed in a reversible manner.

In this paper, I will discuss Chinese adaptations of A Doll’s House as a point of departure to see how problems arise when the self and the behaviour of a person is defined in legal terms at the expense of moral motives and how men and women have different concepts of law and morality. Gender issues in the formation of selfhood and philosophical concepts of behavioural “performativity” will be examined in the context of China’s experimentations in projecting new concepts of womanhood and the female self. As a context, I will also outline some of the changes in cultural values and ethical categories in China over the past century, so as to see why the individualist conception of the self has played such a paramount important role in China’s quest for modernity.
