Pharmacokinetic Comparison and Bioequivalence Evaluation of two 20-mg Vonoprazan Fumarate tablets in Bangladeshi Healthy Male Subjects

Background: Vonoprazan fumarate, a novel potassium-competitive acid blocker, outperforms traditional proton pump inhibitors in acid suppression and can be effectively combined with antibiotics to eradicate Helicobacter pylori. Objective: the study aimed to determine if two Vonoprazan formulations—Vonoprazan Fumarate 20 mg tablet of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, Bangladesh (test product) and takecab 20 mg tablet of takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Japan (reference product)—met FDA’s bioequivalence requirements by comparing their pharmacokinetic characteristics in healthy Bangladeshi adults. Methods: this was a single-center, randomized, open-label, two-period, two-sequence, laboratory-blind, double-crossover experiment. After 10 hours of fasting, 18 subjects were randomly assigned to receive a single oral dose of either formulation. During each treatment period, blood samples were collected at specific times (pre-dose and up to 48 hours post-dose) to measure plasma Vonoprazan levels using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. A non-compartmental model was used to calculate pharmacokinetic parameters using the plasma drug concentration-time profile. A statistical comparison of the pharmacokinetic parameters of the two formulations of the test and reference product was conducted using SAS® statistical software to assess the bioequivalence. Primary pharmacokinetic parameters (Cmax, AUC0-t, and AUC0-∞) and secondary parameters (tmax, t1/2, Kel, and AUC extrapolation) were calculated for both drug formulations. If the confidence intervals for the natural log-transformed Cmax, AUC0-t, and AUC0-∞ values fell between 80% and 125%, the drug products would be considered bioequivalent. Result: the geometric mean ratio of Vonoprazan between the test and reference groups was found to be 109.04% (99.47% - 119.53%), 101.37% (95.58% - 107.50%), and 101.24% (95.43% - 107.41%), with 90% confidence intervals (CIs) for the Cmax, AUC0–t, and AUC0–∞, and these outcomes

Fault classification and reconfiguration of distribution ystems using equivalent capacity margin method

this paper investigates the capability of support vector machines （SVM） for prediction of fault classification and the use of the concept of equivalent capacity margin （ECM） for restoration of the power system. the SVM, as a novel type of machine learning based on statistical learning theory, achieves good generalization ability by adopting a structural risk minimization （SRM） induction principle aimed at minimizing a bound on the generalization error of a model rather than the minimization of the error on the training data only. Here, the SVM has been used as a classification. the inputs of the SVM model are power and voltage values. An equation has been developed for the prediction of the fault in the power system based on the developed SVM model. the next steps of this paper are the restoration and reconfiguration by using the ECM concept, the development of a code, and the testing of the results with various load outages, which have been executed for a 12 load system.

A novel power system reconfiguration for a distribution system with minimum load balancing index using bacterial foraging optimization algorithm

In this paper, the objective of minimum load balancing index （LBI） for the 16-bus distribution system is achieved using bacterial foraging optimization algorithm （BFOA）. the feeder reconfiguration problem is formulated as a non-linear optimization problem and the optimal solution is obtained using BFOA. With the proposed reconfiguration method, the radial structure of the distribution system is retained and the burden on the optimization technique is reduced. test results are presented for the 16-bus sample network, the proposed reconfiguration method has effectively decreased the LBI, and the BFOA technique is efficient in searching for the optimal solution.

Comparison of tiAlN, AlCrN, and AlCrN/tiAlN coatings for cutting-tool applications

Monolayer and bilayer coatings of tiAlN, AlCrN, and AlCrN/tiAlN were deposited onto tungsten carbide inserts using the plasma enhanced physical vapor deposition process. the microstructures of the coatings were characterized using scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and atomic force microscopy （AFM）. the SEM micrographs revealed that the AlrN and AlCrN/tiAlN coatings were uniform and highly dense and contained only a limited number of microvoids. the tiAIN coating was non-uniform and highly porous and contained more micro droplets. the hardness and scratch resistance of the specimens were measured using a nanoindentation tester and scratch tester, respectively. Different phases formed in the coatings were analyzed by X-ray diffraction （XRD）. the AlCrN/tiAlN coating exhibited a higher hardness （32.75 GPa）, a higher Young＇s modulus （561.97 GPa）, and superior scratch resistance （LcN = 46 N） compared to conventional coatings such as tiAlN, A1CrN, and tiN.

Sedimentary sources and processes in the eastern Arabian Sea:Insights from environmental magnetism,geochemistry and clay mineralogy

the spatial distribution patterns of surficial sediment samples from different sedimentary domains （shallow to deep-sea regions） of the eastern Arabian Sea were studied using sediment proxies viz. environmental magnetism, geochemistry, particle size and clay mineralogy. Higher concentrations of magnetic minerals （high Xlf） were recorded in the deep-water sediments when compared with the shallow water sediments. the magnetic mineralogy of one of the shallow water samples is influenced by the presence of bacterial magnetite as evidenced from the XARM/Xlf VS. XARM/Xfd biplot. However, the other samples are catchment-derived. the high correlation documented for Xlf, anhysteretic remanent mag- netisation （XARM） and isothermal remanent magnetisation （IRM） with Al indicates that the deep-sea surflcial sediments are influenced by terrigenous fluxes which have been probably derived from the southern Indian rivers, the Sindhu （the Indus） and the Narmada-tapti rivers. A lower Mn concentration is recorded in the upper slope sediments from the oxygen minimum zone （OMZ） but a higher Mn/AI ratio is documented in the lower slope and deep-sea sediments. Clay minerals such as illite （24-48.5%）, chlorite （14.1-34.9%）, smectite （10.6-28.7%） and kaolinite （11.9-27.5%） dominate the sediments of shallow and deep-sea regions and may have been derived from different sources and transported by fluvial and aeolian agents. Organic carbon （OC） data indicate a low concentration in the shallow/shelf region （well oxygenated water conditions） and deeper basins （increased bottom-water oxygen concentration and low sedimentation rate）. High OC concentrations were documented in the OMZ （very low bottom-water oxygen concentration with high sedimentation rate）. the calcium carbonate concentration of the surface sediments from the continental shelf and slope regions （〈 1800 m） up to the Chagos-Laccadive Ridge show higher concentrations （average - 58%） when compared to deep basin sediments （average - 44%）.

ZnSe∶Mn nanocrystals were grown by chemical vapour transport method using the matrix of SiO2 aerogels. the cubic structure of the nanocrystals was confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron diffraction (ED) studies. the size of the crystals was observed using transmission electron microscope (tEM). the oxidation state of Mn in ZnSe nanocrystal was found using electron spin resonance (ESR) spectrum. the room temperature luminescence measurements show the peaks corresponding to both bandgap of the material and Mn in ZnSe.

two-Stent Strategy for Bifurcation Lesions in Percutaneous transluminal Coronary Angioplasty: Real-World Evidence

Background: Bifurcation lesions pose a high risk for adverse events after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Evidence supporting the benefits of the two-stent strategy (2SS) for treating coronary bifurcation lesions in India is limited. this study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of various 2SSs for percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty for bifurcation lesions in India. Materials and Methods: this retrospective, observational, multicentric, real-world study included 64 patients over 8 years. Data on demographics, medical history, PCI procedures, and outcomes were recorded. Descriptive statistics were computed using the SPSS software. Results: Patients (n = 64) had an average age of 65.3 ± 11.1 years, with 78.1% males. Acute coronary syndrome was reported in 18.8%, chronic stable angina in 40.6%, and unstable angina in 34.4% of participants. two-vessel disease was observed in 98.4% of patients, and 99.4% had true bifurcation lesions. the commonly involved vessels were the left anterior descending artery (50%), left circumflex coronary artery (34.4%), and first diagonal artery (43.8%). Mean percent diameter stenosis was 87.2% ± 10.1%. the mean number of stents used was 2.00 ± 0.34. the 2SS techniques included the t and small protrusion (tAP) (39.1%), double kissing (DK) crush (18.8%), and the culotte techniques (14.1%). Procedural and angiographic success rate was 92.18%. Major adverse cardiovascular events at 1-year follow-up occurred in 7.8% of cases. Conclusion: the 2SS for bifurcation lesions showed favorable in-hospital and follow-up outcomes. Findings can serve as a resource for bifurcation angioplasty in India. Larger real-world studies with robust methodology are needed to validate these results.

Effect of Pulsed Current tIG Welding Parameters on Pitting Corrosion Behaviour of AA6061 Aluminium Alloy

Medium strength aluminium alloy （Al-Mg-Si alloy） has gathered wide acceptance in the fabrication of light weight structures requiring a high strength-to weight ratio, such as transportable bridge girders, military vehicles, road tankers and railway transport systems. the preferred welding process for aluminium alloy is frequently tIG （tungsten inert gas） welding due to its comparatively easier applicability and better *** the case of single pass tIG welding of thinner section of this alloy, the pulsed current has been found beneficial due to its advantages over the conventional continuous current process. the use of pulsed current parameters has been found to improve the mechanical properties of the welds compared to those of continuous current welds of this alloy due to grain refinement occurring in the fusion zone. A mathematical model has been developed to predict pitting corrosion potential of pulsed current tIG welded AA6061 aluminium *** experimental design has been used to optimize the experimental conditions. Analysis of variance technique has been used to find out the significant pulsed current parameters. Regression analysis has been used to develop the model. Using the developed model pitting corrosion potential values have been estimated for different combinations of pulsed current parameters and the results are analyzed in detail.

the intent of this paper is to analyze the electromagnetic signature of stator winding inter-turn short-circuit fault in a closed loop speed controlled Induction Motor(IM)employing Finite Element *** winding short-circuit nearly covers 21%of faults in *** the inter-turn fault at an incipient stage is one of the challenging task in the area of fault detection of IM to prevent crucial damages in industrial *** detecting the faults in inverter fed IM under variable speed applications under varying load is one of the major issues in industrial *** the signatures of electromagnetic field contains the entire data in association with the location of rotor,stator and mechanical parts of the motor,a regular monitoring of fields in the airgap can be used to diagnose the inter-turn fault in the stator winding of *** this direction,an IM is modeled with several inter-turn fault severities like 30 turns,15 turns,5 turns&1 turn short using ANSYS Maxwell FEA tool and coupled with ANSYS Simplorer for loading *** PWM inverter with closed loop speed controlled strategy is implemented in Matlab Simulink and co-simulated with ANSYS Simplorer to integrate all the components in one common simulation platform environment for accurate design&analysis for realistic *** electromagnetic variables like flux density,flux lines and airgap flux density distribution over the machine are *** spatial FFt spectrum of radial component of flux density in the airgap contains the information related to the diagnosis of inter-turn fault at the incipient stage.
