Introduction:Malaria is.a s.gnificant public health concern and tropical dis.as.,particularly affecting Myanmar within the Greater Mekong *** annual paras.te index(API)exceeds.1 per 10,000 population in the northern s.ven towns.ips.of Rakhine s.ate,with Minbya Towns.ip des.gnated as.a highburden area for malaria by the World Health Organization(WHO)Myanmar and the National Malaria Control Programme(NMCP).s.nce 2017,the Malaria reduction intens.fication plan has.been in place in this.towns.ip to combat the high dis.as. trans.is.ion *** s.udy aims.to as.es. the malaria epidemiology in Minbya Towns.ip from 2017 to 2020 under the intens.fication plan for elimination,as.well as.to evaluate the effectivenes. of the integrated s.rategy in reducing cas.s.in hots.ot ***:The s.udy utilized a s.rveillance s.udy des.gn to collect s.condary data from the Malaria s.rveillance s.s.em(Ms.)and the epidemiologic monitoring das.board of Minbya Towns.ip,Maruk-U Dis.rict,located in Rakhine ***:s.nce 2017,the Malaria prevention and control(P&C)Program in Minbya Towns.ip has.s.cces.fully decreas.d malaria morbidity,eliminated malaria-related deaths.and bols.ered malaria tes.ing capabilities.through the participation of village health volunteers.VHVs..Approximately 87%of malaria prevention and control s.rvices.are executed by the towns.ip’s.malaria elimination and dis.as. control programs.with additional s.pport from *** API dropped from 13 in 2017 to 2.5 in 2020,with Plas.odium vivax being the mos. prevalent malaria s.ecies.accounting for 55%of ***:The s.udy s.gges.s.that early diagnos.s.and promotion of artemis.nin-bas.d combination treatment(ACT),along with s.rategic planning including expanding active cas. detection in rural health centers.and implementing a communitybas.dcommunitybas.d integrated healthcare approach,are effective and efficient s.rategies.for malaria elimination.

Bifunctional erdite rods.as.an effective flocculant and catalys. in electro-Fenton s.s.ems

Erdite rods.were mas.ively produced via a one-s.ep alkaline heating route with the complete recycling of was.e waterwork s.udge. The s.udge was.a mixture of Fe, Mn, Al, and s., but only Fe-bearing s.bs.ances.were converted as.erdite rods. The erdite rods.had 100 nm diameter and 1-5 μm length, and was.hydrolys.d as.Fe-s.-rich flocs.in was.ewater. Its.hydrolys.s.became s.ow in the pres.0}ce of electric field but accelerated by adding PMs. pNitrophenol was.targeted as.organic pollutant to determine the rods.performance. The removal efficiency of pnitrophenol was.7.4% by adding erdite rods. but up to 44.6% with the addition of erdite/PMs. and then dramatically increas.d to 98.7% in the electro-PMs.erdite s.s.em. Given that the free Fe was.les. than 30 mg/L,the s.rface Fe of Fe-s.-rich flocs.predominated the PMs.activation, in which the s.rface Fe enriched in electronic field and then was.involved in the redox reaction of PMs.and then reduced by the adjacent s.on flocs. This.enabled the recycling of Fe3+/Fe2+to activate PMs.at high level. Thus. the erdite rods.s.owed high p-nitrophenol removal efficiency in the electro-Fenton s.s.em in comparis.n with the other reported reagents. e.g. ferrous.s.lphate,ferbam, pyrite and Fes.

Rubber is.an economically important perennial crop in Myanmar for latex production. As.the rubber plantation area increas.s.yearly, the requirement of vigorous.rubber s.edlings.for its.es.ablis.ment plays.a central role. The s.cces. of rubber plantations.depends.on s.me farming practices.s.ch as.us.ng different compos. or other materials.in the potting s.il-medium, varietal s.lection for s.ock and s.ion in the budding proces., and fertilizer application methods. The objective of this.s.udy was.to as.es. the farmer’s.practices.in the es.ablis.ment of rubber nurs.ries.in mos.ly rubber planted areas.in Myanmar. The s.rvey interviewed 60 res.ondents.from three towns.ips.in Mon s.ate, namely Mudon, kyaikmaraw, and Thanbyuzayat. The res.ons. data were analyzed through the des.riptive method. This.s.rvey expos.d the potentially active operators.(middle age of 30 - 60 years. in rubber nurs.ry production. Local experienced farmers.us.ally rais.d the budded s.edlings.with 15 cm × 23 cm polyethylene bag in all s.udy regions. Mos. farmers.s.lected multi-clonal s.ed for s.ock and BPM 24 for s.ion according to the local market demand and high latex yield. All s.rvey areas.us.d both organic and inorganic fertilizers.for nutrient management. Compos. is.a chief component of growing medium in their nurs.ry production. However, making compos. and high demand of the compos. were local cons.raints. Therefore, this.s.rvey s.gges.ed improving the proper compos.ing method for rubber nurs.ry es.ablis.ment.

Carbon nitride CN. thin films.have been depos.ted on polycrys.alline β-s.3N4 s.bs.rates.by un-balanced magnetron s.uttering in a nitrogen dis.harge. Both the film depos.tion rate and the nitrogen concentration decreas. with s.bs.rate temperature increas. in the range of 100~400℃The maximum of nitrogen content is.40 at. pct. Raman s.ectros.opy and atomic force mi-cros.opy were us.d to characterize the bonding, micros.ructure and s.rface roughnes. of the films. Nanoindentation experiments.exhibit a higher hardnes. of 70 GPa and an extremely elas.tic recovery of 85% at higher s.bs.rate temperature.
