The Norian represents the longest stage of the Triassic,nevertheless,its precise subdivision is an unresolved *** might be useful in the establishment of an accurate biozonation to avoid common scientific *** the Norian evolutionary trends and morphological changes of the Ancyrogondolella lineage(genus Ancyrogondolella and descendant genera Epigondolella,Orchardella and Mockina)is of key importance in this *** forward shifting of the pit and the posterior prolongation of the keel and the carina characterize the main trend that corresponds to the faunal turnover around the Lacian-Alaunian transition.A gradual decrease in overall element width and length can be observed from that time on,which couples with a decrease in the length of the free blade and an increase in the height of the anterior platform *** presence of secondary carinae is characteristic for the mid-Lacian 1 to Alaunian 1,but their development shows no trends and has no taxonomic *** specimens of the Lacian generally have an arched lower profile,whereas in the Alaunian and Sevatian the lower profile is dominantly stepped or *** thorough documentation of the Tethyan assemblages is needed for any detailed taxonomic and paleobiogeographic comparisons with other regions.

This paper presents the equilibrium desorption isotherms and the isosteric heat of sorption of a mixture containing mechanically dewatered fermentation residue(obtained from a blend of chicken,swine and cattle manure)used in biogas plants and corn spoiled silage in a ratio of 2:*** moisture desorption isotherms of the fermentation residue were determined at 32°C,40°C and 80°C and in the relative humidity range of 0.057/1 using static gravimetric *** equations were used to analyze the desorption data of Modified Henderson,Modified Halsey,Modified Oswin,Modified Chung–Pfost and Modified GAB *** constants of the model equations were calculated by non-linear regression *** Modified Henderson model fitted to the desorption isotherm data *** the proposed function,the final moisture content of the material can be determined as long as it can be dried in infinite time with the drying gas in the given *** isosteric heat of desorption was calculated by using the Modified Henderson model in the studied temperature range based on the Clausius–Clapeyron *** isosteric heat varied between 46 k J·mol-1 and 67 k J·mol-1 at moisture levels 1.91 b Xe<4.05 kgH2O·kgdP-1 for the material.

This research was aimed at deriving average stress-average strain tension-stiffening relationships in accordance with the provisions of design codes for reinforced concrete （RC） members. Using a proposed inverse technique, the tension-stiffening relationships were derived from moment-curvature diagrams of RC beams calculated by different code methods, namely Eurocode 2, AC1318, and the Chinese standard GB 50010-2002. The derived tension-stiffening laws were applied in a numerical study using the nonlinear finite element software ATENA. The curvatures calculated by ATENA and the code methods were in good agreement.

This report describes the main features of the recently published World Ocean Experiment–Argo Global Hydrographic Climatology. This climatology is based on profile data from ships, Argo floats, and sensors attached to marine mammals. As an important deviation from the widely used climatologies produced previously by the National Oceanographic Data Center, the spatial interpolation was performed on local potential density surfaces, so that no ‘artificial water masses’ were created. In addition to monthly fields of temperature and salinity, gridded maps of the upper mixed layer depth are now provided.

AIM： To study the secretory inhibitor of platelet microbicidal protein （SIPMP） phenotypes of faecal anaerobic isolates from patients with diarrhea.METHODS： Faecal isolates of anaerobic bacteria （B. fragilis, n = 42; B. longum, n = 70; A. israelii, n = 21; E. lentum, n = 12） from children with diarrhea were tested. SIPMP production was tested by inhibition of platelet microbicidal protein （PMP） bioactivity against B. subtilis and was expressed as percentage of inhibition of PMP bactericidal activity.RESULTS： Among anaerobic isolates 80% of B. longum strains, 85.7% of A. israeli/strains, 50% of E. lentum strains and 92.86% of B. fragilis strains were SIPMP-positive. The isolated anaerobic organisms demonstrated SIPMP production at a mean level of 13.8% ± 0.7%, 14.7% ± 1.8%, 3.9% ± 0.9% （P 〈 0.05） and 26.8% ± 7.5% （P 〈 0.05） for bifidobacteria, A. israelii, E. lentum and B. fragilis, respectively.CONCLUSION： Data from the present study may have significant implications in understanding the pathogenesis of microecological disorders in the intestine, as well as for future improvement in the prevention and therapy of anaerobe-associated infections.

Experimental study on influence of blade angle and particle size on particle mechanics on a batch-operated single floor of a multiple hearth furnace

In industry,multiple hearth furnaces are used for the thermal treatment of particulate *** current contribution concentrates on the experimental analysis of particle mechanics for a batch-operated single floor of a multiple hearth *** particles are agitated on the circular floor by a single,rotating rabble arm equipped with three flat rabble blades of 10 mm *** blade angle,defined as the angle,which the blade is inclined against the tangential direction,is varied from 0°to 90°.A single layer of spherical polyoxymethylene(POM)particles with three different diameters(5,10 and 20 mm)is placed on the *** analyze the results,two parameters have been extracted from image analysis when the bed of particles is agitated,first,the area not covered by particles and second,the frequency distribution of the mean distance among the *** particle free surface area increases with the inclination of the *** evolution of the particle free surface area differs for the different particle *** general,the maximum particle free area for all blade angles is the largest for the 5 mm particles followed by the 20 mm *** the 10 mm particles,the particle free surface area starts for a blade angle of 0°at larger values than for the 20 mm particles but the values fall below the values for the 20 mm particles for larger blade *** reason for this behavior is discussed in *** mean distance among the particles is a parameter characterizing the length scales dominating the effects on the *** frequency distribution of the mean distance among particles provides infor-mation about the morphology of the particle bulk,for example,whether the free surface area is inter-spersed with particles.
