This paper uses a new statistical method for studying self-organization in order to explain the origins of global catastrophes, namely the exceeding of the critical level of the planet’s organization. This method differs from traditional methods, because it uses specific notions such as the “entrostat” and “critical level of the organization of the open system”.

With the ever-increasing volume of applications of various kinds of electric drives in all spheres of human activity, the issues in improving the efficiency of the electromechanical converters of electric energy, one of the most important components of the electric drive (ED), are becoming increasingly important. Such issues include reducing their weight and size, improving the functional characteristics of these devices to increase their operational life and reducing the cost of manufacture. Taking full advantage of these opportunities relates to the AC and DC single-phase commutator motor (SCM), which is widely used in regulated and high-speed motor drives in home appliances and electric hand tools. The SCM is used in machinery where the load torque has a hyperbolic dependence on the rotational speed and the need to work with a large motor overload due to the “soft” mechanical characteristics of such motors.

The aim of this research work was to evaluate the potential of using renewable natural feedstock,i.e.,Jatropha curcas oil(JCO)for the synthesis of non-isocyanate polyurethane(NIPU)resin for wood composite *** polyurethane(PU)is synthesized through a polycondensation reaction between isocyanate and ***,utilizing toxic and unsustainable isocyanates for obtaining PU could contribute to negative impacts on the environment and human ***,the development of PU from eco-friendly and sustainable resources without the isocyanate route is *** this work,tetra-n-butyl ammonium bromide was used as the activator to open the epoxy ring with 3-Aminopropyltriethoxisylane as a catalyst to yield urethane of JCO(UJCO).The UJCO were characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy(FTIR)and their oxirane,and hydroxyl values were *** result showed that a decrease in oxirane value was found while the hydroxyl value was increased during the time,confirming that the urethane group was *** presence of functional groups in FTIR spectra at wave numbers 1732.08,1562.34,and 3348.42 cm^(−1) indicates the functional groups of C=O(urethane carbonyl),–NH,and–OH,respectively confirmed this *** potential applications of NIPU in the wood composite were also outlined.

A comparative discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of natural stands and plantations,including in terms of their productivity and stability,began from the moment of the first forest plantings and continues to this *** the context of the progressive replacement of natural forests by plantations due to deforestation,the question of how will change the carbon storage capacity of forest cover when replacing natural forests with artificial ones in a changing climate becomes extremely *** article presents the first attempt to answer this question at the transcontinental level on a special case for two-needled pine trees(subgenus Pinus L.).The research was carried out using the database compiled by the authors on the single-tree biomass structure of forest-forming species of Eurasia,in particular,data of 1880 and 1967 of natural and plantation trees,***-factor regression models are calculated after combining the matrix of initial data on the structure of tree biomass with the mean January temperature and mean annual precipitation,and their adequacy indices allow us to consider them *** is found that the aboveground and stem biomass of equal-sized and equal-aged natural and plantation trees increases as the January temperature and precipitation *** pattern is only partially valid for the branches biomass,and it has a specific character for the foliage *** biomass of all components of plantation trees is higher than that of natural trees,but the percent of this excess varies among different components and depends on the level of January temperatures,but does not depend at all on the level of annual precipitation.A number of uncertainties that arose during the modeling process,as well as the preliminary nature of the obtained regularities,are noted.

The aim of this report was to describe the feasibility, overall survival and quality of life of combining multimodal therapy with a complementary therapy concept called LOTUS Care Cure program. The peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) working group described their observations on the combination of multimodal therapy with a complementary therapy concept based on 132 patients with different cancer entities with suspected PC. PC was not confirmed by laparoscopy in 32.5% of the patients included in the working group of patients with suspected PC. Patient compliance and the feasibility were high. For ki67, there is a cut-off at 45% with a slower progression at 45%. The higher the karnofsky index, the more improved the therapy and tolerability, with a cut-off of 80%. Overall, 72.0% of patients died. The median survival time in the overall population was 3.74 years (95% CI, 2.57 to 4.91) with a sharp decline in the first 16 weeks. The quality of life of patients can be improved with the implementation of the complementary LOTUS Care Cure Project. Overall, the therapy of PC requires a multi-professional team of therapists and a multimodal therapy concept. The multimodal concept together with the Lotus Care Cure project shows very good feasibility with high compliance and ultimately leads to better and low-risk patient care.

The article deals with the comparative analysis of philosophical conceptions of life proposed by Leo Tolstoy and Henri Bergson. The authors show the affinity of the definitions of life proposed by H. Bergson in his work "Creative evolution" and by L. Tolstoy in his works "On life" and "Path of life" as well as in his late diaries. Both thinkers understand life as spiritual and dynamic force which effects on the passive matter and originates complex organized structures within it. Human's consciousness is the fullest expression of life. In both conceptions, memory is a key feature of consciousness which has rather metaphysical than psychological nature. Uniting all elements of life, memory makes person a supertemporal and eternal entity, i.e. shows him as a part of life in its authentic and original form. The authors arrive at a conclusion concerning a presumable influence of L. Tolstoy's ideas on the forming of H. Bergson's philosophy of life.
