Using the Lie symmetry approach,the author has examined traveling wave solutions of coupled Benjamin-Bona-Mahony-KdV *** coupled Benjamin-Bona-Mahony-KdV equation is reduced to nonlinear ordinary differential equations for all optimal subalgebras by using Lie classical symmetries and various solutions are obtained by the modified(G'/G)-expansion ***,with the aid of solutions of the nonlinear ordinary differential equations,more explicit traveling wave solutions of the coupled Benjamin-Bona-Mahony-KdV equation are found *** traveling wave solutions are expressed by rational function.

In this paper, the variable-coefficient diffusion-advection （DA） equation, which arises in modeling various physical phenomena, is studied by the Lie symmetry approach. The similarity reductions are derived by determining the complete sets of point symmetries of this equation, and then exact and numerical solutions are reported for the reduced second-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Further, an extended （Gl/G）-expansion method is applied to the DA equation to construct some new non-traveling wave solutions.

The Lie symmetry analysis is performed for the coupled short plus （CSP） equation. We derive the infinitesimals that admit the classical symmetry group. Five types arise depending on the nature of the Lie symmetry generator. In all types, we find reductions in terms of system of ordinary differential equations, and exact solutions of the CSP equation are derived, which are compared with numerical solutions using the classical fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme.

In this paper, a variable-coefficient Benjarnin-Bona-Mahony-Burger （BBMB） equation arising as a math- ematical model of propagation of small-amplitude long waves in nonlinear dispersive media is investigated. The inte- grability of such an equation is studied with Painlevd analysis. The Lie symmetry method is performed for the BBMB equation and then similarity reductions and exact solutions are obtained based on the optimal system method. Further- more different types of solitary, periodic and kink waves can be seen with the change of variable coefficients.

Among the greenhouse gases(GHGs),atmospheric water vapor is the most abundant,has a large influence on the radiation budget of Earth,and plays a decisive role in regional weather *** investigate the long-term(1980-2020)changes in global tropospheric water vapor using satellite,radiosonde,and reanalysis data and assess the impact of changes in water vapor on regional and global climate with respect to its radiative *** annual climatology of global tropospheric water vapor varies from 5 to 60 kg/m^(2) across different *** in the tropics,there is a strong seasonal cycle in both the southern and northern hemispheres,with the highest values in summer(25 to 65 kg/m^(2))and smallest values in winter(5 to 20 kg/m^(2)).Most regions show positive trends in the annual mean tropospheric water vapor,at about 0.025 to 0.1 kg/m^(2)/year,for the period of 1980-2020,with a notable increase in the Arctic because of the high rise in temperature *** the troposphere(except 200 hPa),the annual mean specific humidity shows significant positive trends over both land and oceans,with the highest values of approximately 0.015 g/kg/year at 1000 hPa in the *** associated radiative effects on shortwaves at the surface vary from−5 to−70 W/m^(2),with the highest values at Manaus,Porto,and Hanty-Mawsijsk(tropical stations)and the smallest values of about−5 to−10 W/m^(2) in the polar *** model projections for future high-emission scenarios show a large increase in atmospheric water vapor,approximately twice the current value in the polar latitudes by the end of the 21st *** is a great concern for global and regional climate,as the rise in water vapor would further augment global warming and phenomena,such as the Arctic ***,this study cautions that there is a significant rise in tropospheric water vapor across latitudes and altitudes,which could further increase the global temperature and,thus,accelerate global cli

Magnesium is one of the largely available elements in the earth’s crust. It has a low structural density with high specific strength. This unique material property has forced an increase in the use of magnesium and its alloys in various applications pertaining to industrial sector,automobiles, aerospace and biomedical. Since magnesium is a highly reactive metal, it is prone to higher rate of corrosion as compared to its counterparts. Thus, it is essential to analyze the corrosion behavior of magnesium and its alloys in its applications. An appropriate process is to be followed in the design and development of magnesium alloys which overcome the limitations of magnesium and enhance the desired material properties in accordance to their applications. This review paper summarizes the importance of magnesium and its material properties. The influence of various alloying elements on the mechanical properties of magnesium is reviewed. The broad classification of Mg alloys and their behavioral trends are detailed. The corrosion behavior of magnesium and the influence of corrosion products on the material characteristics of magnesium, in aqueous medium, are discussed. The manufacturing techniques of magnesium alloys along with the secondary techniques are also covered. The various applications and the limitations of magnesium in these applications are covered. A complete section is dedicated towards detailing the recent trends of magnesium(Mg) alloys, i.e., the biodegradable nature and applications of Mg alloys. The influence of biocorrosion on Mg alloys and techniques to overcome it have been deliberated. This paper provides a thorough review on recent developments of magnesium with respect to engineering applications.
