Nurses Role in Prevention of HIV/AIDS

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)is a chronic,potentially life-threatening condition as per World Health Organization there are about 37.9 Million peoples living with AIDS/HIV in the world and out of which only 23.3 Million peoples accessing antiretroviral therapy but remaining are still not under treatment and such peoples may spread/transmit HIV more and *** is required among peoples living with HIV and high risk groups should consider on high *** play key role in prevention of HIV/AIDS by significant functions such as health education to youths,high risk groups and eligible couples and *** is no treatment or vaccine not available to cure this syndrome,so for this deadly syndrome prevention is much better than cure is possible.

Health insurance is a mechanism by which a person protects himself from financial loss caused due to accident and/or *** chairman of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority(IRDA)has mentioned that low consumer awareness and insufficient healthcare infrastructure are the major hindrances to widen the reach of healthcare insurance in *** costs have witnessed a phenomenal rise in the current *** has led the customers to insure not only themselves but their family members for any future medical expenses and other related *** need to insure assumes is more importance for older generations who are either retired or will be retired in near *** high health cost,it is important for us to get covered for health *** this,a good insurance policy is needed to cover doctor's visit,laboratory tests,hospital stays and diagnostic *** are quite a few companies covering health risks with good insurance *** insurance(popularly known as Mediclaim)offers protection in case of unexpected medical *** case of a sudden illness or accident,the health insurance policy takes care of the hospitalization,medical and other costs ***,health insurance to be introduced to all consumers in India to protect them from financial loss caused by unfortunate incidents.

Human life without environment is not at all possible,recent years due to huge urbanization and rise in technology affecting the health in a worst manner,ultimately we are only the responsible,Objectives:This article focuses to create awareness regarding environmental health *** article focuses on the issues,information to environmental health problems including sources of *** resources for nurses to prevent,minimize,to treat adverse environmental *** draw attention of NGOs and *** are many report(TOI)says that 70%of Indians doesn’t breathe fresh air due to air pollution and not able to get safe drinking/adequate water its due to water pollution and major cause for this is huge increase in population,fastest growing *** pollution occurred such air,water,food and huge chemicals using for growing crops also the main reason to reduce life-span as well as increase the risk of developing *** nurse plays a pivotal role in prevention of environmental related risk and illness by continuous touch with the community *** Nurse plays a pivotal role in prevention of health problems with regard to environment,primarily should have thorough knowledge about environmental impact in health and *** is foremost person who will assist in screening,diagnosis and alleviating health symptoms at the all the levels of health care.
