In fuel cells, chemical energy is directly converted into heat and electricity without any emissions which makes them an attractive substitute for various energy needs. Fuel cells have high energy conversion ratio and highpower densities which make them suitable for automotive applications. However, these fuel cell systems suffer with low reliability and durability as system components develop faults during operation resulting in degradation and diminished system performance. In this context, fault detection and fault mitigation strategies are being extensively developed. Diagnostic approaches like electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and galvanostatic analysis offer a truthful representation of the State of Health (SOH) of the fuel cell. However, these approaches are intrusive and require pausing the operation of the fuel cell effecting its integrity. Machine learning based fault detection and SOH estimation is a non-intrusive approach where a mapping function is established between the indicators and SOH. The SOH of a fuel cell can be correlated to the patterns in sensor signals or indicators. Indicators that influence SOH are cell voltages, current density distribution, impedance spectra, acoustic emission and magnetic fields. Developing an accurate fault detection and state estimation technique through data driven machine learning approaches will allow corrective measures to avoid irreversible faults and improve the reliability and durability of fuel cells.

To ensure smooth and reliable operations of battery systems,reliable prognosis with accurate prediction of State of Health of lithium ion batteries is of utmost ***,battery degradation is a complex challenge involving many electrochemical reactions at anode,separator,cathode and electrolyte/electrode ***,there is significant effect of the operating conditions on the battery *** machine learning tech-niques have been applied to estimate the capacity and State of Health of lithium ion batteries to ensure reliable operation and timely *** this paper,we study the Gaussian Process Regression(GPR)and Support Vector Machine(SVM)model-based approaches in estimating the capacity and State of Health of ***-tery capacity and State of Health estimations are carried out using GPR and SVM models and the predictions comparatively studied for accuracy based on RMSE *** prediction accuracy is further compared with re-spect to single sensor and multi sensor ***,a combined multi battery data set model is used to improve the prediction *** the data of multiple batteries with similar operating conditions for training a model resulted in higher prediction accuracy.

Recent advancements in decentralized finance(DeFi)have resulted in a rapid increase in the use of Automated Market Makers(AMMs)for creating decentralized exchanges(DEXs).In this paper,we organize these developments by treating an AMM as a neoclassical black-box characterized by the conversion of inputs(tokens)to outputs(prices).The conversion is governed by the technology of the AMM summarized by an‘exchange function’.Various types of AMMs are examined,including:Constant Product Market Makers;Constant Mean Market Makers;Constant Sum Market Makers;Hybrid Function Market Makers;and,Dynamic Automated Market *** paper also looks at the impact of introducing concentrated liquidity in an ***,the framework presented here provides an intuitive geometric representation of how an AMM operates,and a clear delineation of the similarities and differences across the various types of AMMs.

BACKGROUND Rotator cuff tears and Bankart lesions significantly affect shoulder function and quality of *** rotator cuff repair and Bankart repair has become the standard treatment for restoring function and reducing *** advancements include new suture anchor technologies,such as the Sironix suture anchor known for its biomechanical strength and promising ***,there are limited real-world data on its effectiveness and safety,particularly in the Indian *** To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Sironix suture anchors in rotator cuff and Bankart repair *** Sixty participants underwent surgery between January 2021 and December 2022,and demographic data and postoperative outcomes were collected through retrospective reviews and telephonic *** scales,including the PENN Shoulder Score(PSS),Disabilities of the Arm,Shoulder,and Hand(DASH)score,and Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation(SANE),were utilized for *** Treatment with Sironix suture anchor devices,including Ceptre Knotted UHMWPE Suture Titanium Anchor,Spyke Knotted UHMWPE Suture Peek Anchor,Stativ Knotted UHMWPE Suture Anchor,and Viplok Knotless Peek Screw Anchor with Titanium Tip,revealed no repair *** demonstrated high satisfaction and functional improvement,as evidenced by the mean Quick DASH score(32.01)and PSS(71.65)and the satisfactory SANE scores for both injured joints(74.33)and non-injured(83.67)shoulder *** The study yielded favorable outcomes for rotator cuff tear repair and Bankart *** repair failures were observed,supporting the safety and efficacy of these devices in shoulder injury management.

BACKGROUND Data regarding the agreement among multiple operators for measurement of quadriceps muscle thickness by bedside ultrasonography(USG)are *** To statistically assess the agreement among 5 operators for measurement of quadriceps muscle thickness on bedside *** This was a cross-sectional observational *** 5 operators of varied experience(comprised of 1 critical care consultant,2 fellows,and 2 nurses)independently measured quadriceps muscle thickness in triplicate for 45 critically ill patients each,using ***-and interrater agreement rates among the 5 operators were assessed using intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC)and expressed with 95%confidence interval(CI).RESULTS The 5 operators produced a total of 135 readings and 675 observations for ICC calculations to determine the intraoperator and interoperator variations *** intraoperator agreement,the overall ICC(95%CI)was 0.998(0.997,0.999)for operator 1,0.998(0.997,0.999)for operator 2,0.997(0.995,0.999)for operator 3,0.999(0.998,0.999)for operator 4,and 0.998(0.997,0.999)for operator *** interoperator agreement,the overall ICC(95%CI)was 0.977(0.965,0.986;P<0.001)for reading 1,0.974(0.960,0.984;P<0.001)for reading 2,and 0.975(0.961,0.985;P<0.001)for reading *** USG measurement of quadriceps muscle thickness was not dependent on clinical experience,supporting training for nurses in it.

Study and Mitigation of Subsynchronous Oscillations with SSC Based SSSC

This paper proposes a powerful subsynchronous component based (SSC) controller to mitigate the subsynchronous resonance (SSR) with statics synchronous series compensator (SSSC). The mitigation of SSR is achieved by increasing the network damping at those frequencies which are close to the torsional frequency of the turbine-generator shaft. The increase of network damping is done by the extraction of subsynchronous component of voltage and current from the measured signal of the system. From the knowledge of subsynchronous components, a series voltage is injected by SSSC into the transmission line to make the subsynchronous current to zero which is the main cause of turbine oscillations. To analyze the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme, IEEE first benchmark model has taken. The results show the accuracy of the proposed control scheme to mitigate the Torque amplification of SSR.

Formulation,in-vitro Evaluation and Dissolution Enhancement of Griseofulvin by Solid Dispersion Method

Introduction:Griseofulvin is an antifungal drug belonging to Biopharmaceutical Classification System(BCS class II)having low ***:To formulate,evaluate and enhance the dissolution of poorly water soluble drug Griseofulvin by using solid dispersion ***:Six formulations were prepared by solid dispersion method using Polyethylene Glycol(PEG 6000)125 mg,0 mg,62.5 mg,100 mg,25 mg,150 mg and superdisintegrants Crospovidone 0 mg,125 mg,62.5 mg,100 mg,25 mg,150 mg in all batches ***:Satisfactory results were obtained from evaluation of physical characteristics of Griseofulvin tablets including:carr’s compressibility index(17.5±0.19%to 11.76±0.67%),Hausner ratio(1.21±0.01 to 1.13±0.02)and post compression parameters including:thickness(5.16±0.02 mm to 4.57±0.19 mm),friability(0.024%to 0.322%),hardness(4±0.28 kg/cm^(2)to 5±0.57 kg/cm^(2)),disintegration time(14-870 seconds).Conclusions:F3 was best formulation among all formulated batches with in-vitro drug release 30.05%in 10 minutes,69.21%in 30 minutes and 97.11%in 45 *** indicated that formulation F3 batch with PEG 6000 of 62.5 mg and crospovidone 62.5 mg showed increased dissolution.

Sexual Behaviour of Rural College Youth in Maharashtra, India: An Intervention Study

Objective To promote healthy sexual behaviour among rural college youth. Methods The intervention study consisted a sample of 1 500 （800 male and 700female） in baseline and 1 953 （1 022 male and 931 female） college going students in post intervention, in the age groups 15-24 years from 8 colleges in Thane district of Maharashtra. The interventions included dissemination of lEC （Information, Education and Communication）, counselling in colleges and provision of health care services at rural health centers in the experimental area. Male and female teachers and peer leaders were trained to provide IEC. Chi-square test was carried out to find out the association between contributing factors and sexual behaviour. Results Post intervention results showed that overall any sexual experience （coital/ non-coital） increased by 2.6% and 1.0% among male students and 4.6% and 0.8% among female students in control and experimental groups respectively which suggests that in the control area physical closeness and sexual relationship has increased between sexes. A significant improvement was noted in the usage of condom during their sexual intercourse in experimental group. The provision of IEC in college settings, peer leader training and orientation to teachers helped students and teachers to initiate a dialogue on reproductive health issues. Intervention programs helped college youth to develop the skills, make informed decisions about engaging in sexual intercourse and using contraceptives in a social context that sometimes encourages risky sexual behaviour. The study found that peer interaction was exposure to erotic material; habits and working status among boys and peer interaction and place of study among girls were closely associated with their coital and non-coital sex experience.
