Two novel two-dimensional(2D)supramolecular organic frameworks were fabricated in water based on the encapsulation-enhanced donor-acceptor interaction between the methyl viologen(MV)units,methoxy naphthyl(MN)units,and CB[8].The tetraphenylethylene(TPE)derivatives 1 with four MV units were employed as rigid building blocks and the two MN units modified oligoethylene glycol derivatives 2 and 3 served as flexible edges,*** obtained two SOFs have obvious sheet-like structures and exhibit fluorescence emission at 350-500 *** addition,these two SOFs were employed for the luminescent detection of Cr(Ⅵ)and Mn(Ⅶ)in aqueous solutions,and the detection limits of CrO_(4)^(2-),Cr_(2)_(O)_(7)^(2-),and MnO_(4)were calculated in a very low concentration range,indicating that these two SOFs can serve as a potential sensor for Cr(Ⅵ)and Mn(Ⅶ)detection in *** work constructs two SOFs in an aqueous solution through a facile method and further enriches the applications of SOFs.

Repeatability and Variability of the 3-Min All-Out Test at the Subject Level

Purpose The constant work-rate to exhaustion tests must be repeated several times at each work-rate to estimate subject-level trial-to-trial variance(intra-individual variability,IIV)of critical power(CP)and work capacity(W').Alternatively,these parameters and their variance can be estimated by repeating the 3-min all-out test(3MT)fewer *** purpose of this study was to propose a method to determine subject-level repeatability of the 3MT and demonstrate the need to repeat the test multiple times to estimate *** Seven cyclists performed a ramp test and four 3MTs on a *** parameters CP,W',peak power(Pp),and total work(TW)were compared across trials using repeated measures ANOVA,Bland-Altman analysis,Intraclass Cor-relation Coefficients(ICC),Typical Error(TE)of measurement,and Coefficient of Variation(CV).Results For the group,average CP and W'were 284±58 W and 10.214±3.143 *** reliability statistics,CP(ICC=0.97,TE=8 W,CV=2.94%)and W'(ICC=0.88,TE=1.11 kJ,CV=10.87%),indicated strong ***-level repeatability was determined by comparing time-to-peak power(TPp),absolute difference in Pp(δPp),and TW(δTW)for pairs of *** average IIVs estimated by the 95%confidence intervals were±15 W for CP and±1.68 kJ for W'.Conclusions Thresholds are proposed for TPp(7 s),δPp(10%),andδTW(3%)to determine subject-level repeatability of the 3MT before computing the IIV of CP and W'.It is suggested that the 3MT is repeated at least three times to estimate the IIV,which aids in personalized measurement of training improvements and performance optimization。

In this article the authors have studied the stability analysis and chaos control of the fractional order Vallis and El-Nino systems. The chaos control of these systems is studied using nonlinear control method with the help of a new lemma for Caputo derivative and Lyapunov stability *** synchronization between the systems for different fractional order cases and numerical simulation through graphical plots for different particular cases clearly exhibit that the method is easy to implement and reliable for synchronization of fractional order chaotic systems. The comparison of time of synchronization when the systems pair approaches from standard order to fractional order is the key feature of the article.

In-line digital holography helps to relax the spatial resolution requirement on charge-coupled device sensors for digital recording of holograms and to utilize the full sensing area for image reconstruction which provides larger field of view and better imaging resolution. In this letter, a lensless in-line digital holographic microscopy is presented for dynamic metrology of micro-electro-mechanical system devices. The methodologies of interferometry and time-averaged in-line digital holography are presented for dynamic measurements, which are also useful for simultaneous suppression of in-line waves from real image wave. The experimental results are presented for dynamic thermal characterization of microheater and vibration analysis of cantilevers.

Plants are either directly or indirectly the source of most of the essential amino acids in animal diets. Four of these essential amino acids--methionine, threonine, isoleucine, and lysine--are all produced from aspartate via a well studied biosynthesis pathway. Given the nutritional interest in essential amino acids, the aspartate-derived amino acid pathway has been the subject of extensive research. Additionally, several pathway enzymes serve as targets for econom- ically important herbicides, and some of the downstream products are biosynthetic precursors for other essential plant metabolites such as ethylene and S-adenosylmethionine. Recent and ongoing research on the aspartate-derived family of amino acids has identified new enzyme activities, regulatory mechanisms, and in vivo metabolic functions. Together, these discoveries will open up new possibilities for plant metabolic engineering.

The present research aimed to improve the dissolution rate and bioavailability of curcumin using the potential of liquisolid technology. Twelve drug-loaded liquisolid systems(LS-1 to LS-12) were prepared using different vehicles(PEG 200, PEG 400 and Tween 80) and curcumin concentrations in vehicle(40%, 50%, 60% and 70%, w/w). The carrier [microcrystalline cellulose(MCC) PH102] to coat(Aerosils) ratio was 20 in all formulations. The systems were screened for pre-compression properties before being compressed to liquisolid tablets(LT-1 to LT-12). Post compression tests and in vitro dissolution of LTs were conducted and the results compared with those obtained for a directly compressed tablet(DCT) made of curcumin, MCC PH102 and Aerosils. LTs exhibited higher cumulative drug release(CDR) than the DCT and the optimum formulation, LT-9(made using Tween 80), was studied by powder XRD, DSC, SEM and FTIR. Ex-vivo permeation of curcumin from LT-9 through goat gastrointestinal mucosa was significantly(Po0.05) enhanced and its oral bioavailability was increased18.6-fold in New Zealand rabbits. In vitro cytotoxicity(IC50) of LT-9 towards NCL 87 cancer cells was40.2 mmol/L substantiating its anticancer efficacy. Accelerated stability studies revealed insignificant effects of temperature and humidity on LT-9. In summary, solubility enhancement of curcumin in LTs produced significant improvements in its permeation and bioavailability.
