This study deals with the development of drum brake liner for a multi-utility vehicle possessing a hydraulic brake system by varying 7 weight%of steel fiber and stainless steel fiber each,in friction composite *** developed friction composites were tested for physical,chemical,corrosion,mechanical,thermal properties,and tribological characteristics,under near-actual conditions using an inertia dynamometer as per industrial *** element analysis software(ANSYS)analysis was performed to show the thermal stress distribution of the developed friction composites at the maximum temperature rise due to heat generated during brake stops,and an extensive evaluation method was used to rank the *** study concludes that the brake factor of the stainless steel fiber-based friction composite produces stable performance in all conditions with a lower liner temperature rise of 340°C and lower thermal stress at 4.255294 ***,the steel fiber-based composites produced high performance at the beginning but deteriorated after a certain period due to higher levels of corrosion and a high temperature rise of 361°C resulting in a negative fade(-0.84%)and more thermal stress(5.619102 MPa).The primary plateau,secondary plateau,back transfer of drum wear debris,and the distribution of constituents on the worn surface of the developed composites in a resin matrix were identified and studied using a scanning electron microscope(SEM)equipped with energy-dispersive spectroscopy.

This article focuses on the effect of radiation on mixed convection in a nanofluid along an inclined wavy surface embedded in a non-darcy porous medium.A coordinate transformation is employed to transform the complex wavy surface to a smooth *** governing equations are transformed into a set of partial differential equations using the nonsimilarity transformation and then a local similarity and non-similarity method is applied to obtain coupled ordinary differential *** resulting equations are linearized using the successive linearization method and then solved by the Chebyshev spectral *** effects of radiation,non-darcy parameter,Brownian motion parameter,thermophoresis parameter,the amplitude of the wavy surface,angle of inclination of the wavy surface on the non-dimensional heat and nanoparticle mass transfer rates are studied and presented graphically.

This paper presents the effect on compressive strength and self-healing capability of bacterial concrete with the addition of calcium *** to normal concrete,bacterial concrete possesses higher durability and engineering concrete *** production of calcium carbonate in bacterial concrete is limited to the calcium content in *** calcium lactate is externally added to be an additional source of calcium in the *** influence of this addition on compressive strength,self-healing capability of cracks is highlighted in this *** bacterium used in the study is bacillus subtilis and was added to both spore powder form and culture form to the *** subtilis spore powder of 2 million cfu/g concentration with 0.5%cement was mixed to *** lactates with concentrations of 0.5%,1.0%,1.5%,2.0%,and 2.5%of cement,was added to the concrete mixes to test the effect on properties of *** other samples,cultured bacillus subtilis with a concentration of 1×10^cells/mL was mixed with concrete,to study the effect of bacteria in the cultured form on the properties of *** of 100 mm×100 mm×100 mm were used for the *** cubes were tested after a curing period of 7,14,and 28 d.A maximum of 12%increase in compressive strength was observed with the addition of 0.5%of calcium lactate in *** electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy examination showed the formation of ettringite in pores;calcium silicate hydrates and calcite which made the concrete denser.A statistical technique was applied to analyze the experimental data of the compressive strengths of cementations *** surface methodology was adopted for optimizing the experimental *** regression equation was yielded by the application of response surface methodology relating response variables to input *** method aids in predicting the experimental results accurately with an acceptable range

Accelerated materials development with machine learning(ML)assisted screening and high throughput experimentation for new photovoltaic materials holds the key to addressing our grand energy ***-driven ML is envisaged as a decisive enabler for new perovskite materials ***,its full potential can be severely curtailed by poorly represented molecular descriptors(or fingerprints).Optimal descriptors are essential for establishing effective mathematical representations of quantitative structure-property *** we reveal that our persistent functions(PFs)based learning models offer significant accuracy advantages over traditional descriptor based models in organic-inorganic halide perovskite(OIHP)materials design and have similar performance as deep learning *** multiscale simplicial complex approach not only provides a more precise representation for OIHP structures and underlying interactions,but also has better transferability to ML *** results demonstrate that advanced geometrical and topological invariants are highly efficient feature engineering approaches that can markedly improve the performance of learning models for molecular data ***,new structure-property relationships can be established between our invariants and *** anticipate that our molecular representations and featurization models will transcend the limitations of conventional approaches and lead to breakthroughs in perovskite materials design and discovery.

The manner by which eukaryotic genomes are packaged into nuclei while maintaining crucial nuclear functions remains one of the fundamental mysteries in biology. Over the last ten years, we have witnessed rapid advances in both microscopic and nucleic acid-based approaches to map genome architecture, and the application of these approaches to the dissection of higher- order chromosomal structures has yielded much new information. It is becoming increasingly clear, for example, that interphase chromosomes form stable, multilevel hierarchical structures. Among them, self-associating domains like so-called topologically associating domains （TAds） appear to be building blocks for large-scale genomic organization. This review describes features of these broadly-defined hierarchical structures, insights into the mechanisms underlying their formation, our current understanding of how interactions in the nuclear space are linked to gene regulation, and important future directions for the field.

Objective: To investigate new scolicidal agent from natural resources to cope with the side effects associated with synthetic drugs in Echinococcosis. Methods: The scolicidal potential of methanolic fruit powder extract (10 and 20 mg/mL) of Mallotus philippinensis ( M. philippinensis ) was investigated. Viability of protoscoleces was confirmed by trypan blue exclusion method, where mortality was observed at concentration of 10 and 20 mg/mL in 60 min treatment against Echinococcus granulosus ( E. granulosus ), under in-vitro conditions with reference to the known standard drug Praziquantel . Results: At concentration 10 and 20 mg/mL, the mortality rate was observed 97% and 99% respectively for 60 min treatment; while up to 93% mortality was observed with 20 mg/mL for only 10 min treatment. The concentration above 20 mg/mL for above 2 h showed 100% mortality, irrespective of further incubation. Conclusions: As compared with the standard anti-parasitic drug Praziquantel our extract has significant scolicidal activity with almost no associated side effects.

The manuscript explores the complex interplay between groundnut genotypes,salt tolerance and hormonal influence,shedding light on the dynamic responses of three specific groundnut genotypes,KdG-128,TG-37 A and GG-20,to salt treatments and gibberellic acid(GA3).The study encompasses germination,plant growth,total protein content and oil content as key *** comprehensive analysis,it identifies TG-37 A and KdG-128 as salt-tolerant genotypes,and GG-20 as salt-susceptible genotypes,which highlighting the potential for targeted breeding efforts to develop more resilient groundnut ***,the quantification of protein and oil content under different treatments provides vital data for optimizing nutritional profiles in groundnut *** Component Analysis(PCA) underscores the significance of the first principal component(PC1)in explaining the majority of variance,capturing primary trends and differences in plant *** of Variance(ANOVA) and hierarchical analysis confirm the presence of statistically significant differences in protein and oil content among the ***'s correlation coefficient matrix analysis reveals strong positive correlations between plant length and protein content,plant length and oil content,and a moderately positive correlation between protein content and oil *** findings provide valuable insights into groundnut physiology,salt tolerance,and nutritional composition,with implications for future research in sustainable agriculture and crop improvement.
