Background: Fractional flow reserve (FFR)-guided interventions, though proved to be safe, continue to be a much-underutilized modality in determining treatment strategy, and data is lacking in Indian population. Objective: We aimed to determine the use of FFR-guided PCI and assess the overall impact on treatment decisions and clinical outcomes in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or chronic coronary syndromes (CCS). Methods: In this single-center retrospective and prospective observational study, FFR had been performed for the evaluation of treatment reclassification and clinical outcomes, as per physician’s clinical practice. Results: Data was obtained for 250 subjects (mean age 60.45 ± 9.6 years) with 324 lesions. The treatment plan based on angiography alone changed in 28% of lesions post-hyperemic FFR. The initial treatment plan based on angiography vs. the final treatment plan post-FFR (>0.80) was medical management 56.5% vs. 66.0%;CABG 11.1% vs. 7.7%;and PCI 32.4% vs. 26.2%. In subjects initially assigned to medical management, 14% had changed to PCI, and for subjects initially assigned to PCI, 44% had changed to medical therapy. Receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve analysis revealed a good correlation between a resting FFR value of <0.87 and hyperemic FFR value of <0.80. T

Background: The biodegradable polymer-coated sirolimus-eluting coro-nary stent (SES) system for the treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD) has been implanted in a real-world patient population. Aim: The present study was designed to evaluate the safety and performance of MetaforTM sirolimus- eluting coronary stent (SES) system in consecutive patients with CAD in a real-world patient population. Methods: All the consecutive 251 patients who underwent percutaneous coronary interventions with the use of Metafor sirolimus-eluting stents were included in this study. Patients were clinically/tele- phonically followed-up at one-year from August 2015 to August 2016. We observed and analyzed major adverse cardiac event (MACE) defined as the aggregate of cardiac death, myocardial infarction (MI), and any target lesion revascularization (TLR) at one-year. Also, stent thrombosis (ST) was observed at one-year patients follow-up. Results: We collected and analyzed the data for 251 patients. Out of 251 participants, 191 (76.1%) were males, 95 (37.8%) patients had diabetes, 117 (46.6%) had ST-segment-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), and 134 (53.4%) had hypertension. Mean patient age was 56.35 ± 11.23 years. A total of 295 lesions were treated, out of which 13.6% of the lesions were the long lesion of ≥40 mm. At one-year, MACE occurred in 4 (1.6%) of 251 patients, consisting of 2 (0.8%) cardiac deaths, 2 (0.8%) MI, and 0 (0%) TLR. Stent thrombosis was reported in one patient (0.4%). Conclusions: This retrospective data demonstrated excellent safety and performance of Metafor SES in a “real-world” consecutive CAD patient, indicating low rates of MACE and ST at one-year follow-up.

Developing cost-effective and high-performance catalyst systems for dry reforming of methane(DRM)is crucial for producing hydrogen(H_(2))***,we investigate using iron(Fe)as a promoter and major alumina support in Ni-based catalysts to improve their DRM *** addition of iron as a promotor was found to add reducible iron species along with reducible NiO species,enhance the basicity and induce the deposition of oxidizable *** incorporating 1 wt.%Fe into a 5Ni/10ZrAl catalyst,a higher CO_(2) interaction and formation of reducible"NiO-species having strong interaction with support"was observed,which led to an∼80%H_(2) yield in 420 min of Time on Stream(TOS).Further increasing the Fe content to 2 wt.%led to the formation of additional reducible iron oxide species and a noticeable rise in H_(2) yield up to 84%.Despite the severe weight loss on Fe-promoted catalysts,high H_(2) yield was maintained due to the proper balance between the rate of CH_(4) decomposition and the rate of carbon deposit ***,incorporating 3 wt.%Fe into the 5Ni/10ZrAl catalyst resulted in the highest CO_(2) interaction,wide presence of reducible NiO-species,minimumgraphitic deposit and an 87%H_(2) *** findings suggest that ironpromoted zirconia-alumina-supported Ni catalysts can be a cheap and excellent catalytic system for H_(2) production via DRM.

Maintaining high-quality service supply and sustainability in modern cloud computing is essential to ensuring optimal system performance and energy efficiency. A novel approach is introduced in this study to decrease a system.s overall delay and energy consumption by utilising a deep reinforcement learning(DRL)model to predict and allocate incoming workloads flexibly. The proposed methodology integrates workload prediction utilising long short-term memory(LSTM)networks with efficient load-balancing techniques led by deep Q-learning and Actor-Critic algorithms. By continuously analysing current and historical data,the model can efficiently allocate resources,prioritizing speed and energy preservation. The experimental findings demonstrate that our load balancing system,which utilises DRL,significantly reduces average response times and energy usage compared to traditional methods. This approach provides a scalable and adaptable strategy for enhancing cloud infrastructure performance. It consistently provides reliable and durable performance across a range of dynamic workloads.

Thermal barrier coating is a crucial thermal insulation technology that enables the underlying substrate to operate near or above its melting temperature. Such coatings bolster engineers＇ perpetual desire to increase the power and efficiency of gas turbine engines through increasing the turbine inlet tempera- ture. Advances in recent years have made them suitable for wider engineering and defense applications, and hence they are currently attracting considerable attention. A thermal barrier coating system is itself dynamic; its components undergo recurrent changes in their composition, microstructure and crystalline phases during its service life. Nevertheless, the performance of multi-layered and multi-material sys- tems tailored for high temperature applications is closely linked to the deposition process. The process improvements achieved so far are the outcome of increased understanding of the relationship between the coating morphology and the operating service conditions, as well as developments in characterization techniques. This article presents a comprehensive review of various processing techniques and design methodologies for thermal barrier coatings. The emphasis of this review is on the particle technology; the interrelationship between particle preparation, modification and the resulting properties, to assist developments in advanced and novel thermal barrier coatings for engineering applications.

Lindelofia longiflora(Royle ex Benth.) ***(Cl.) Brand(Family:Boraginaceae) is investigated cytologically(n = 12) for the first time from the cold deserts of Pangi Valley,Chamba District(Himachal Pradesh) in *** report the formation of syncytes and 2n pollen grains in the *** meiosis,the majority of the pollen mother cells(PMCs) exhibited 12 bivalents,equal segregation of chromosomes during anaphases,regular tetrads,and normal-sized pollen grain ***,two proximate PMCs fused during the early stages of prophase-I and resulted in the formation of *** frequency of syncytes in the accession is rather low,at 25 out of 1866(1.33%).Such syncyte PMCs are detectable during meiosis due to their larger size compared to typical *** syncytes or polyploid cells showed normal 24 bivalents and depicted perfectly regular meiotic *** the products of such PMCs yield 2n or larger sized pollen grains that are almost double the size of typical normal or n pollen *** origin of syncytes as a consequence of the fusion of meiocytes during the early stages of meiosis-I could be attributed to low temperature stress conditions prevailing in the Pangi Valley,where temperature during May and June dip to below freezing,the time the plants enters the reproductive/flowering bud *** is possible that such apparently fertile 2n pollen grains originating from syncytes might play a role in the origin of intraspecific polyploids in the species.

Information of snow cover(SC)over Himalayan regions is very important for regional climatological and hydrological *** monitoring of SC in the Himalayan region is essential for water supply to hydropower stations,irrigation requirements,and flood *** remote sensing has all weather,day and night earth observation capability unlike optical remote *** this study,spaceborne synthetic aperture radar interferometric(InSAR)coherence analysis is used to monitor SC over Himalayan rugged *** feasibility of monitoring SC using synthetic aperture radar(SAR)interferometry depends on the ability to maintain coherence over InSAR pair acquisition time ***-1/2 InSAR coherence and ENVISAT ASAR InSAR coherence images are analyzed for SC *** sets of winter and of snow free months of the Himalayan region are taken for interferogram *** images of the available data sets show maximum decorrelation in most of the area which indicates massive snowfall in the region in the winter season and melting in the *** showing coherence loss due to decorrelation is mapped as a snowcovered *** result is validated with field observations of snow depth and it is found that standing snow is inversely related to coherence in the Himalayan region.

Device scaling is an important part of the very large scale integration （VLSI） design to boost up the success path of VLSI industry, which results in denser and faster integration of the devices. As technology node moves towards the very deep submicron region, leakage current and circuit reliability become the key issues. Both are increasing with the new technology generation and affecting the performance of the overall logic circuit. The VLSI designers must keep the balance in power dissipation and the circuit＇s performance with scaling of the devices. In this paper, different scaling methods are studied first. These scaling methods are used to identify the effects of those scaling methods on the power dissipation and propagation delay of the CMOS buffer circuit. For mitigating the power dissipation in scaled devices, we have proposed a reliable leakage reduction low power transmission gate （LPTG） approach and tested it on complementary metal oxide semiconductor （CMOS） buffer circuit. All simulation results are taken on HSPICE tool with Berkeley predictive technology model （BPTM） BSIM4 bulk CMOS files. The LPTG CMOS buffer reduces 95.16% power dissipation with 84.20% improvement in figure of merit at 32 nm technology node. Various process, voltage and temperature variations are analyzed for proving the robustness of the proposed approach. Leakage current uncertainty decreases from 0.91 to 0.43 in the CMOS buffer circuit that causes large circuit reliability.
