This paper addresses the problem of determining the optimal promotional policy for a diffusion model in a segment-specific market under the assumption that the additional demand of the new product also improves brand image in the form of goodwill of the *** model is framed with the assumption that the firm uses the mass and differentiated promotion effort for each *** differentiated promotional efforts target each market segment independently and the mass promotional effort reaches different segments with a fixed *** derive the optimal promotional effort policy for each segment using maximumprinciple and also analyze the stability of the dynamical system by constructing a Lyapunov function through the graph theoretic *** analysis gives a deep insight into how the promotional effort should be planned by the decision makers keeping in mind the financial constrains without hindering the promotional effort at the end of the planning period.

Accelerated materials development with machine learning(ML)assisted screening and high throughput experimentation for new photovoltaic materials holds the key to addressing our grand energy ***-driven ML is envisaged as a decisive enabler for new perovskite materials ***,its full potential can be severely curtailed by poorly represented molecular descriptors(or fingerprints).Optimal descriptors are essential for establishing effective mathematical representations of quantitative structure-property *** we reveal that our persistent functions(PFs)based learning models offer significant accuracy advantages over traditional descriptor based models in organic-inorganic halide perovskite(OIHP)materials design and have similar performance as deep learning *** multiscale simplicial complex approach not only provides a more precise representation for OIHP structures and underlying interactions,but also has better transferability to ML *** results demonstrate that advanced geometrical and topological invariants are highly efficient feature engineering approaches that can markedly improve the performance of learning models for molecular data ***,new structure-property relationships can be established between our invariants and *** anticipate that our molecular representations and featurization models will transcend the limitations of conventional approaches and lead to breakthroughs in perovskite materials design and discovery.

In fuel cells, chemical energy is directly converted into heat and electricity without any emissions which makes them an attractive substitute for various energy needs. Fuel cells have high energy conversion ratio and highpower densities which make them suitable for automotive applications. However, these fuel cell systems suffer with low reliability and durability as system components develop faults during operation resulting in degradation and diminished system performance. In this context, fault detection and fault mitigation strategies are being extensively developed. Diagnostic approaches like electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and galvanostatic analysis offer a truthful representation of the State of Health (SOH) of the fuel cell. However, these approaches are intrusive and require pausing the operation of the fuel cell effecting its integrity. Machine learning based fault detection and SOH estimation is a non-intrusive approach where a mapping function is established between the indicators and SOH. The SOH of a fuel cell can be correlated to the patterns in sensor signals or indicators. Indicators that influence SOH are cell voltages, current density distribution, impedance spectra, acoustic emission and magnetic fields. Developing an accurate fault detection and state estimation technique through data driven machine learning approaches will allow corrective measures to avoid irreversible faults and improve the reliability and durability of fuel cells.

Citrus rind color is a good indicator of fruit development,and methods to monitor and predict color transformation therefore help the decisions of crop management practices and harvest *** work presents the complete workflow to predict and visualize citrus color transformation in the orchard featuring high accuracy and fidelity.A total of 107 sample Navel oranges were observed during the color transformation period,resulting in a dataset containing 7,535 citrus images.A framework is proposed that integrates visual saliency into deep learning,and it consists of a segmentation network,a deep mask-guided generative network,and a loss network with manually designed loss ***,the fusion of image features and temporal information enables one single model to predict the rind color at different time intervals,thus effectively shrinking the number of model *** semantic segmentation network of the framework achieves the mean intersection over a union score of 0.9694,and the generative network obtains a peak signal-to-noise ratio of 30.01 and a mean local style loss score of 2.710,which indicate both high quality and similarity of the generated images and are also consistent with human *** ease the applications in the real world,the model is ported to an Android-based application for mobile *** methods can be readily expanded to other fruit crops with a color transformation *** dataset and the source code are publicly available at GitHub.

Background: A more comprehensive understanding of the trends of incidence, prevalence, and mortality in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and their complex interrelationships, may provide important evidence for decision-making related to HIV prevention and control. The variances in these indices between different population groups, genders, and ages are critical to decipher evolving patterns of the HIV epidemic in specific ***: A secondary analysis of relevant data was conducted using data extracted from the Global Burden of Disease study of 2019. HIV/acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) incidence, prevalence, AIDS-related mortality, and mortality-to-prevalence ratio (MPR) for annual percentage change, average annual percentage change (AAPC), and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated using joinpoint regression statistical ***: The AAPC of HIV/AIDS incidence, prevalence, AIDS-related mortality rate, and MPR were -1.4 (95% CI: -1.6, -1.2), 4.1 (95% CI: 4.0, 4.3), 2.0 (95% CI: 1.7, 2.3), and -2.1 (95% CI: -2.3, -1.8) between 1990 and 2019 globally, and were 3.5 (95% CI: 2.2, 4.8), 6.9 (95% CI: 6.8, 7.0), 8.1 (95% CI: 7.1, 9.1), and 1.2 (95% CI: 0.1, 2.3) in China during the same period. In terms of differences in the preceding indicators by gender, we observed a similar pattern of trends for male and female genders both globally and in China during the entire study period. Each specific age group exhibits a distinct pattern in terms of incidence, prevalence, mortality rate, and MPR both globally and in ***: Prevalence and mortality rates of HIV/AIDS have increased between 1990 and 2019 globally and in China. While the incidence rate and MPR have declined globally over the past three decades, these two indicators are observed to present an increasing trend in China. A 19-year-old man had an accidental fall from the 2nd floor and sustained multiple *** radiological evaluation,the patient had symmetrical quadruple limb involvement with bilateral humerus shaft,bilateral olecranon,bilateral femur shaft,and bilateral patella *** patient was actively managed using damage control orthopaedics,and a sequence of skeletal fixation was planned based on the hemodynamic stability and periodical serum lactate *** quadruple limb fractures are very rare,which could be associated with higher mortality.A meticulous clinical evaluation,periodical blood parameter assessment and strict adherence to the principles of damage control orthopaedics can be conducive to prevent life-endangering complications.
