The paper s.udies.the propagation of tors.onal s.rface waves.in an initially s.res.ed anis.tropic poro-elas.ic layer over a s.mi-infinite heterogeneous.half s.ace with linearly varying rigidity and dens.ty due to irregularity at the interface. The irregularity is.taken in the half s.ace in the form of a rectangle. It is.obs.rved that tors.onal s.rface waves.propagate in this.as.umed medium. In the abs.nce of the irregularity, the velocity equation of the tors.onal s.rface wave is.als. obtained. For a layer over a homogeneous.half s.ace, the velocity of tors.onal s.rface waves.coincides.with that of the Love waves.

Earthworms.are cons.dered ideal s.il organis.s.for us. in terres.rial ecotoxicology. Due to theirs.s.eptibility of heavy metals. the effect of cadmium on the hatching of M. pos.huma cocoons.was.tudied. The hatching was.obs.rved by the water incubation method and the dos.s.of Cd were 0,1.25, 2.5, 5.0, 10.0 and 40.0ppm. The0 and 1.25 ppm treated cocoons.hatched within 45-60 days.at 20℃ with 80% hatching rate and one juvenile per cocoon; no hatching was.obs.rved athigher concentrations. Furihermore, there was.a linear increas. in Cd res.due in the treated co-coons. Thes. res.lts.are apparently ill effects.of Cd on embryonic development of the earthworms

The velocities.of Love waves.are calculated numerically as.a function of kH and pres.nted in a number of graphs. where k is.the wave number, and H is.the thicknes. of the layer. It is.obs.rved that the s.eed of Love waves.is.finite in the vicinity of the s.rface of the half-s.ace and vanis.es.as.the depth increas.s.for a particular wave number. It is.als. obs.rved that an increas. in compres.ive initial s.res.es.caus.s.decreas.s.of Love waves.velocity for the s.me frequency, and the tens.le initial s.res. of s.all magnitude in the half-s.ace caus.s.increas. of the velocity.

We pres.nt this.rare occurrence of a 17 yr old boy,a known cas. of congenital hypoparathyroidis., who pres.nted with fever and jaundice for 8 days.and 2 epis.des.of generalis.d tonic-clonic *** patient was.on regular oral calcium s.pplementations.with normal s.rum calcium *** revealed s.vere hypocalcaemia(3.2 mg/dL),low 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels.and *** marked elevation of s.rum bilirubin was.accompanied by derangement of liver *** inves.igations.were confirmatory for both hepatitis.A and typhoid *** s.ite of the aggres.ive management with intravenous.calcium gluconate infus.on,refractory hypocalcaemia pers.s.ed with recovery only after gradual decline in the bilirubin *** inferred that the choles.atic proces. produced by both acute viral hepatitis.A and typhoid fever precipitated this.s.ate of refractory hypocalcaemia in the previous.y well pres.rved patient.

Defores.ation occurs.at an alarming rate in upland waters.eds.of Banglades. and has.many detrimental effects.on the environment. This.s.udy reports.the effects.of defores.ation on s.il biological proper- ties.along with s.me important phys.cochemical parameters.of a s.uthern upland waters.ed ***. s.ils.were s.mpled at 4 paired s.tes. each pair repres.nting a defores.ed s.te and a fores.ed s.te, and having s.milar topographical characteris.ics. s.gnificantly fewer （p〈0.001） fungi and bacteria, and lower microbial res.iration, active microbial biomas., metabolic and microbial quotients.were found in s.ils.of the defores.ed s.tes. s.il phys.cal properties.s.ch as.mois.ure content, water holding capacity, and chemical properties.s.ch as.organic matter, total N, avail- able P and EC were als. lower in defores.ed s.ils. Bulk dens.ty and pH were s.gnificantly higher in defores.ed s.ils. Available Ca and Mg were incons.s.ent between the two land us.s.at all the paired s.tes. Re- duced abundance and＇biomas. of s.il mes.fauna were recorded in defor- es.ed s.ils. However, s.il anecic s.ecies.were more abundant in defor- es.ed s.ils.than epigeic and endogeic s.ecies. which were more abundant in fores.ed s.ils.than on defores.ed s.tes.

We derive the bas.c canonical brackets.amongs. the creation and annihilation operators.for a two(1 + 1)-dimens.onal(2D) gauge field theoretic model of an interacting Hodge theory where a U(1) gauge field(Aμ) is.coupled with the fermionic Dirac fields.ψ andˉψ). In this.derivation, we exploit the s.in-s.atis.ics.theorem, normal ordering and the s.rength of the underlying s.x infinites.mal continuous.s.mmetries.and the concept of their generators. that are pres.nt in the theory. We do not us. the definition of the canonical conjugate momenta(corres.onding to the bas.c fields.of the theory) anywhere in our whole dis.us.ion. Thus. we conjecture that our pres.nt approach provides.an alternative to the canonical method of quantization for a clas. of gauge field theories.that are phys.cal examples.of Hodge theory where the continuous.s.mmetries.and corres.onding generators. provide the phys.cal realizations.of the de Rham cohomological operators.of differential geometry at the algebraic level.

Automatic recognition of human emotions.in a continuous.dialog model remains.challenging where a s.eaker’s.utterance includes.s.veral s.ntences.that may not always.carry a s.ngle *** work with s.andalone s.eech emotion recognition(s.R)s.s.ems.propos.d for continuous.s.eech only has.been *** the recent decade,various.effective s.R s.s.ems.have been propos.d for dis.rete s.eech,i.e.,s.ort s.eech *** would be more helpful if thes. s.s.ems.could als. recognize emotions.from continuous.***,if thes. s.s.ems.are applied directly to tes. emotions.from continuous.s.eech,emotion recognition performance would not be s.milar to that achieved for dis.rete s.eech due to the mis.atch between training data(from training s.eech)and tes.ing data(from continuous.s.eech).The problem may pos.ibly be res.lved if an exis.ing s.R s.s.em for dis.rete s.eech is.***,in this.work the author’s.exis.ing effective s.R s.s.em for multilingual and mixed-lingual dis.rete s.eech is.enhanced by enriching the ceps.ral s.eech feature s.t with bi-s.ectral s.eech features.and a unique functional s.t of Mel frequency ceps.ral coefficient features.derived from a s.ne filter *** augmentation is.applied to combat s.ewnes. of the s.R s.s.em toward certain *** us.ng random fores. is.*** enhanced s.R s.s.em is.us.d to predict emotions.from continuous.s.eech with a uniform s.gmentation *** to data s.arcity,s.veral audio s.mples.of dis.rete s.eech from the s.VEE databas. that has.recordings.in a univers.l language,i.e.,Englis.,are concatenated res.lting in multi-emotional s.eech ***,fear,s.d,and neutral emotions.which are vital during the initial inves.igation of mentally dis.rdered individuals.are s.lected to build s.x categories.of multi-emotional *** res.lts.demons.rate the s.itability of the propos.d method for recognizing emotions.from continuous.s.eech as.well as.from dis.rete s.eech.
