Influence of Synthesis Parameters on Luminescence of Thenoyltrifluoroacetone Europium Powders

In the last years the development of new luminescent materials was grow highly in order to find efficient materials with low cost of processing. In this way the organic luminescent materials have special attention because its special characteristics, like antenna effect, low temperature processing, possibility to make translation to polymeric and flexible compounds. In this work luminescent powders of TTA:Eu3+ by sol-gel method were synthesized in order to define the synthesis parameters of the highest luminescence. The temperatures of heat treatment were 80°C, 100°C, 200°C and the concentration of Europium where 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% mol (TTA-10Eu, TTA-20Eu, TTA-30Eu, and TTA-40Eu). Fourier Transform Infrared Rays analysis (FTIR) and emission luminescence measures, the best conditions of synthesis were obtained at 40% mol of Europium and 80°C of heat treatment, at 272 nm of excitation. All the samples present the corresponded Eu3+ ion transitions the 5D0 → 7FJ (J = 0, 1, and 2). This confirms the great possibilities of these materials for optoelectronic applications.

A general model is proposed to account for the rationale of both Fitts’law（1954） and Drury’s（1971） model to describe the relationships of speed-accuracy tradeoffs（RSATs） in self-paced aiming and self-paced tracking movements,*** on the concepts of control theory,the general model postulates that to perform hand-control movements,humans behave as an intermittent correction servo associated with four essential motor properties:1) corrective reaction time,2) ballistic movement time,3) ballistic movement variability,and 4) moving behavior and *** general model is specified to the two types of movements:the self-paced aiming movement model and the self-paced tracking movement model.A preliminary test of the two models was conducted against published *** results showed that both specified models predict well the linear RSATs of Fitts’law and Drury’s（1971） *** further validate the model predictions with real movement performance,a comprehensive study was suggested for future research.

This article describes a study on a non-thermal plasma device to treat exhaust gases in an internal combustion engine. Several tests using a plasma device to treat exhaust gases are conducted on a Honda GX200- 196 cm3 engine at different rotational speeds. A plasma reactor could be efficient in degrading nitrogen oxides and particulate matter. Monoxide and carbon dioxide treatment is minimal. However, achieving 1%-3% degradation may be interesting to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.
