Currently, the electrica. system in a.gentina.is working a. its ma.imum ca.a.ity, decrea.ing the ma.gin between the insta.led power a.d dema.ded consumption, a.d dra.tica.ly reducing the service life of tra.sformer substa.ions due to overloa. (since the ma.gin for summer pea.s is sma.l). The a.vent of the Sma.t Grids a.lows electricity distribution compa.ies to a.ply da.a.a.a.ysis techniques to ma.a.e resources more efficiently a. different levels (a.oiding da.a.es, better contingency ma.a.ement, ma.ntena.ce pla.ning, etc.). The Sma.t Grids in a.gentina.progresses slowly due to the high costs involved. In this context, the estima.ion of the lifespa. reduction of distribution tra.sformers is a.key tool to efficiently ma.a.e huma. a.d ma.eria. resources, ma.imizing the lifetime of this equipment. Despite the current sta.e of the sma.t grids, the electricity distribution compa.ies ca. implement it using the a.a.la.le da.a. Therma. models provide guidelines for lifespa. estima.ion, but the a.justment to pa.ticula. conditions, bra.ds, or ma.eria. qua.ity is done by a.justing pa.a.eters. In this work we propose a.method to a.just the pa.a.eters of a.therma. model using Genetic a.gorithms, compa.ing the estima.ion va.ues of top-oil tempera.ure with mea.urements from 315 kVa.distribution tra.sformers, loca.ed in the province of Tucumán, a.gentina. The results show tha., despite limited da.a.a.a.la.ility, the a.justed model is suita.le to implement a.tra.sformer monitoring system.
