BACKGROUND Transfusion transmissible infections(TTIs)are illnesses spread through contaminated blood or blood *** India,screening for TTIs such as hepatitis B virus(HBV),hepatitis C virus(HCV),human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-I/II,malaria,and syphilis is mandatory before blood ***,HCV,HBV,and HIV are the leading viruses causing mortality,affecting millions of people globally,including those with co-infections of HIV/HCV and HIV/*** highlight the impact of TTIs on life expectancy and health risks,such as liver cirrhosis,cancer,and other diseases in individuals with chronic ***,millions of blood donations take place annually,emphasizing the importance of maintaining blood *** To study the prevalence of TTIs,viz.,HBV,HCV,HIV I/II,syphilis,and malaria parasite(MP),among different blood donor *** The study assessed the prevalence of TTIs among different blood donor groups in Delhi,*** included total donors,in-house donors,total camp donors,institutional camp donors,and community camp *** for HIV,HBV,and HCV were done using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,while syphilis was tested with rapid plasma reagins and MP rapid card *** prevalence of HBV,HCV,HIV,and syphilis,expressed as *** in infection rates between the groups were analyzed usingχ²tests and P-values(less than 0.05).RESulTS The study evaluated TTIs among 42158 blood donors in *** overall cumulative frequency of TTIs in total blood donors was 2.071%,and the frequencies of HBV,HCV,HIV-I/II,venereal disease research laboratory,and MP were 1.048%,0.425%,0.221%,0.377%,and 0.0024%,***-house donors,representing 37656 donors,had the highest transfusion transmissible infection(TTI)prevalence at 2.167%.Among total camp donors(4502 donors),TTIs were identified in 1.266%of donors,while community camp donors(2439 donors)exhibited a prevalence of 1.558%.Institutional camp donors(2063 donors)had the l

Synthetic dyes are commonly used for graphite depression in poly-metallic flotation circuits; however,these dyes can be very expensive. The aim of this study is to evaluate performance of certain low-cost alternative depressants for a complex lead-zinc(Pb-Zn) ore rich in graphite(Gr-C) on a conventional mini pilot-scale flotation circuit. The reagents used were commercial and industrial grade starch; agro-based waste-sugarcane bagasse and charred(burnt) bagasse powder. The primary evaluation criteria were quality(grades) of lead and zinc concentrates, their recoveries(%), and graphite rejection(%) in the *** tests using nigrosine as graphite depressant showed 94.3% rejection of Gr-C. The results with commercial starch were found as effective with 93.8% graphite rejection. Furthermore, bagasse powder showed potential in improving product quality(36.4% and 65.6% Pb grade and recovery) with an intermediate effectiveness in graphite rejection(85.6%). The order of effectiveness in Gr-C rejection follows nigrosine % commercial starch > bagasse > industrial starch > charred bagasse. In addition, the effect these depressants on silver(byproduct) grade and recovery was also investigated.

In this paper,we generalize the concept of asymptotic Hankel operators on H2(D)to the Hardy space H2(Dn)(over polydisk)in terms of asymptotic Hankel and partial asymptotic Hankel operators and investigate some properties in case of its weak and strong ***,we introduce ith-partial Hankel operators on H2(Dn)and obtain a characterization of its compactness for n>*** main results include the containment of Toeplitz algebra in the collection of all strong partial asymptotic Hankel operators on H2(Dn).It is also shown that a Toeplitz operator with symbolφis asymptotic Hankel if and only if φ is holomorphic function in L∞(Tn).

This study presents a parametric system identification approach to estimate the dynamics of a chemical plant from experimental data and develops a robust PID controller for the *** system identification of the heat exchanger system has been carried out using experimental data and prediction error *** estimated model of the heat exchanger system is a time-delay model and a robust PID controller for the time-delayed model has been designed considering weighted sensitivity *** mathematical background of parametric system identification,stability analysis,and H∞ weighted sensitivity analysis have been provided in this paper.A graphical plot has been provided to determine the stability region in the(Kp,Ki),(Kp,Kd)and(KuKd)*** stability region is a locus dependent on parameters of the controller and frequency,in the parameter plane.

Influence of Various Parameters on Collapse Behaviour of Thin Cylinders

Axial compression experiments on as received aluminum tubes and tubes with wall thickness eccentricity incorporated by off centre machining showed that the eccentricity caused transition of their collapse mode from axisymmetric to diamond. The numerical simulation of the collapse phenomenon was undertaken using a static non-linear Finite Element Analysis in ANSYS, and results are found to compare well with the experimental load compression and energy absorption responses for axisymmetric concertina and non-axisymmetric diamond modes. Having validated the numerical model with experiments, it has been used to undertake a systematic study of the load - compression characteristics and collapse mode transitions of the tubes with varying eccentricities in wall thickness and boundary conditions, as well as the material properties.
