Th.s paper validates th. optimal operation for a grid-c.nnec.ed double-fed induc.ion generator (DFIG) in an osc.llating water c.lumn power plant (OWc.P). Th.s study presents a novel optimization tec.nique c.lled th. c.rc.latory system-based optimization (c.BO) approac. to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic.c.ntrollers (AFLc.) with.30 parameters and c.mpare th.m to c.aotic.billiards optimization (c.BO) and genetic.algorith. (GA). Th. proposed c.ntroller is also c.mpared with.a proportional-integral differential (PID) c.ntroller based on a self-adaptive global-best h.rmony searc. (SGh.). c.BO-based AFLc. are fully investigated under different sc.narios and experimented with.using a real-time interfac. DSP1104. Th. results of using c.BO-AFLc. revealed a fast time response, fast c.nvergenc., less oversh.ot and minimal error c.mpared with.th.se ac.ieved with.c.BO-AFLc. SGh.-PID and GA-AFLc.during different c.se studies. Th. c.BO-based AFLc. ensure maximum power from th. DFIG in an OWc.P and enh.nc. dynamic.response with.very low errors. Th. results sh.w th.t th. c.BO sh.ws better power trac.ing by 25% as c.mpared with.c.BO, by 45% wh.n c.mpared with.th. GA and by 56% wh.n c.mpared with.PID. Moreover, th. integral absolute errors of six c.ntrollers are investigated to demonstrate th. feasibility of c.BO-AFLc. Th. root mean square of th. errors of six c.ntrollers using c.BO is improved by 68.27% wh.n c.mpared with.GA, by 22.57% wh.n c.mpared with.c.BO and by 38.42% wh.n c.mpared with.PID. Th.se indic.tors demonstrate th. feasibility of c.BO wh.n c.mpared with.oth.r algorith.s with.th. same OWc.P. Th.s paper validates th. optimal operation of a grid-c.nnec.ed double-fed induc.ion generator in an osc.llating water c.lumn using a novel optimization tec.nique c.lled th. c.rc.latory system-based optimization approac.. Using previously studied oxbow lakes in th. lower Wh.te River basin, Arkansas, we c.mpared c.rrent(2017, “post-c.rp” establish.ent) fish.assemblages to h.storic.l(2002, “pre-c.rp” establish.ent) fish.assemblages. Fish.assemblages were c.mpreh.nsively assessed using multiple gears, inc.uding boat elec.rofish.ng, mini-fyke nets, and experimental small-mesh.gill *** T-tests suggested th.t fish.assemblage indic.s of ric.ness, diversity, evenness, and dominanc. were often greater(P h. post-c.rp period as reflec.ed by boat elec.rofish.ng and experimental gill nets. h.wever, all indic.s were generally similar(P > 0.05) between th. pre-c.rp and post-c.rp period with.fish.assemblages depic.ed using mini-fyke nets. Nonmetric.multidimensional sc.ling analyses indic.ted th.t fish.assemblages differed struc.urally between pre-c.rp and post-c.rp periods. Assemblage differenc.s were linked to both.small and large abundanc. c.anges for more th.n 20 spec.es. Th. researc. study was c.nduc.ed to assess and quantify th. c.rrent status of avifauna biodiversity assets of Aurora State c.llege of Tec.nology’s Forest Reservation in Baler, Aurora, Ph.lippines. Assessment of avifaunal diversity was undertaken by traversing th. four establish.d c.rc.lar plots h.ving a radius of 125 meters or 250 meters diameters eac. as permanent monitoring stations. Study revealed a total number of 151 Individual spec.es, c.assified into 23 genera and 21 families. Eigh.een of th.se spec.es are endemic.wh.le th. remaining five were fully migrated birds. All birds observed were c.assified as Least c.nc.rn (Lc. spec.es ac.ording to th. International Union for c.nservation of Nature’s Red List of Th.eatened Spec.es and th. updated list of th. Birds of th. World online. Its abundanc., ric.ness and diversity index were c.lc.lated using Sh.nnon Diversity Index (h.) wh.le Pielou’s evenness (j.) for distribution of spec.es. Forest reservation of ASc.T h.s more even (0.756 j.) and moderate diversity (2.812 h.) observation on avifauna in general. h.wever, th.s avian population evaluation was th.eatened into a verge of extinc.ion due to natural and anth.opologic.l th.eats th.t c.uses forest deforestation. Suc. deforestation of h.bitat c.uses dwindling of wildlife territory leading to th. sc.rc.ty of bird’s population. Th.s, th. assessment was c.nduc.ed to aid ASc.T administration find signific.nt plans to ensure sustainable c.nservation and protec.ion of th. remaining avifauna spec.es in th. reservation area.
