The aim of this editorial is to evaluate the evidence for using pimavanserin for the treatment of Parkinson's disease psychosis(PDP)from randomized controlled trials(RCTs).We only identified two published trials that evaluated the use of pimavanserin among individuals with *** studies found that pimavanserin improved psychotic symptoms among individuals with PDP when compared to *** was fairly well tolerated in both studies and did not appear to cause significant sedation or worsen motor symptoms among individuals with ***,given the limited data,additional confirmatory studies are required before pimavanserin can be considered as a first line agent for the treatment of psychotic symptoms among individuals with PD.

Medicinal plants are generally suggested for degraded land or areas having low *** paniculata is an important medicinal plant known for its diterpene lactone *** exposed 26 genotypes of *** to rain-fed condition during early-season rain-fed(ESRF)and mid-season rain-fed(MSRF)conditions and compared with the control to assess their suitability in semi-arid climate region of Gujarat,*** study was performed during two consecutive years 2016–2017 in split plot design with rain-fed conditions as main-plot treatment and genotypes as sub-plot treatment in three *** gaseous exchange parameters taken at 85100 days after transplanting exhibited mean photosynthesis rate was 20.5 lmol CO_(2) m^(-2)s^(-1) ranging between 15.9 lmol CO_(2) m^(-2)s^(-1) and 24.0 lmol CO_(2) m^(-2)s^(-1).Exceeding 7%decrease in stomatal conductance was recorded compared to the control plants under imposed rain-fed *** mean value of transpiration rate was 4.8 mmol H2O m^(-2)s^(-1).The mean value of water use efficiency was *** condition decreased leaf water potential from-0.517 to-1.189 *** dry herbage decreased by 29.2%due to MSRF condition as compared the *** andrographolide yield per plant suffered significantly and under ESRF condition it reduced mainly due to reduction in andrographolide *** andrographolide yield per plant in MSRF condition was mainly due to reduction in herbage *** revealed that ESRF and MSRF condition characterized by erratic rainfall pattern and dry spell is not beneficial for quality production in *** on the least decrease in andrographolide,yield two genotypes viz.,AP 6 and AP 12 identified to be suitable for ESRF condition and two genotypes viz.,AP 19 and AP 6 suitable for MSRF ***,four genotypes,AP 35,AP 39,AP 61 and AP 24 were suitable as the promising genotypes having high andrographolide yield.

成形极限图是一种用来描述使板材不发生局部颈缩所需最大主应变的重要图形。它是一种预测板材变形过程中变形极限的方便、有效的工具。本研究中,在400°C和不同样品宽度的条件,通过Nakazima实验得到了Ti-6Al-4V合金的成形极限图。此外,为了使用成形极限图对材料参数进行理论预测,提出了不同的各向异性屈服准则(Barlat 1989,Barlat 1996,Hill 1993)和不同的硬化模型(Hollomon幂定律、Johnson-Cook(JC)模型、改进的Zerilli-Armstrong(m-ZA)和Arrhenius(m-Arr)模型)。结合所提出的屈服准则和本构模型,通过Marciniak和Kuczynski(M-K)理论确定了Ti-6Al-4V合金的成形极限图。结果表明:屈服模型对材料成形极限图的影响大于本构模型的影响。然而,材料的厚度缺陷系数(f_0)与其硬化模型密切相关。Hill(1993)屈服准则最适合于成形极限图右边区域的预测,而Barlat(1989)屈服准最适合于成形极限图左边区域的预测。由于所得到的混合理论成形极限图兼具Barlat(1989)和Hill(1993)屈服模型和m-Arr硬化模型的优点,因此,它与实验得到的成形极限图吻合很好。

Ten marine sponge species from Rameswaram,southern India were studied for their filamentous fungal *** results suggest that fungal symbionts of marine sponges are *** such as Acremonium,Alternaria,Aspergillus,Cladosporium,Fusarium and Penicillium were frequently isolated;no true marine fungal species were *** of Aspergillus were dominant and co-dominant in all the sponges *** fungal isolates produced antialgal,antifungal,antioxidant,antibiotic,antiinsect metabolites.A few fungi produced acetylcholinesterase inhibitors.

This paper is to identify and classify the various types of shunt and line faults in transmission line. The faults may be an insulation failure, lightning or accidental faulty operation. In a transmission line protection important factor is identifying a fault because if any error occurs in finding fault may leads to abnormal operation of the protection system. So either a disturbance or steady state variation is called power quality variation. The proposed test system is modeled based on the neural network and fuzzy algorithm. The online symmetrical components are extracted by this above algorithm. The fuzzy is used to separate the oscillating components and average components. Here input for the fuzzy is trained by using neural network. It is based on current samples and very effective in fault classifier using rule base. This method is very much suitable for online implementation.

In industrial drives, electric motors are extensively utilized to impart motion control and induction motors are the most familiar drive at present due to its extensive performance characteristic similar with that of DC drives. Precise control of drives is the main attribute in industries to optimize the performance and to increase its production rate. In motion control, the major considerations are the torque and speed ripples. Design of controllers has become increasingly complex to such systems for better management of energy and raw materials to attain optimal performance. Meager parameter appraisal results are unsuitable, leading to unstable operation. The rapid intensification of digital computer revolutionizes to practice precise control and allows implementation of advanced control strategy to extremely multifaceted systems. To solve complex control problems, model predictive control is an authoritative scheme, which exploits an explicit model of the process to be controlled. This paper presents a predictive control strategy by a neural network predictive controller based single phase induction motor drive to minimize the speed and torque ripples. The proposed method exhibits better performance than the conventional controller and validity of the proposed method is verified by the simulation results using MATLAB software.

The wireless sensor network is an emerging technology, which is used to sense and monitor the environment. As the nodes are deployed in an open environment, the security is one of the essential factors. The cryptography techniques can ensure confidentiality, integrity and authentication. However, wireless sensor network also needs to deal with inside and outside attackers. To deal with outside attackers, attacks by compromised or malicious nodes, trust management system is suggested by many researchers in the area of wireless sensor network. Trust management system can be implemented in various applications for security management such as secure data aggregation, secure cluster head selection, trusted routing, access control, etc. Many researchers provide different kind of solutions for these secure applications based on trust management. However, to incorporate, all such applications on a single sensor node in the network, it is essential to design and develop a trust management system, which considers various aspects and applications of wireless sensor network. As a result, in this paper, we would like to propose a parameter and trust factor based secure communication framework and design a trust management system for wireless sensor networks. Our main contribution is to identify various parameters and trust factors which influences on trust in wireless sensor network and developing a framework for a trust management system based on various parameters and trust factors. The working of the proposed model is shown by simulation experiments conducted in MATLAB for the application of secure communication, data aggregation and intrusion detection in wireless sensor networks.

An Integrated Face Tracking and Facial Expression Recognition System

This article proposes a feature extraction method for an integrated face tracking and facial expression recognition in real time video. The method proposed by Viola and Jones [1] is used to detect the face region in the first frame of the video. A rectangular bounding box is fitted over for the face region and the detected face is tracked in the successive frames using the cascaded Support vector machine (SVM) and cascaded Radial basis function neural network (RBFNN). The haar-like features are extracted from the detected face region and they are used to create a cascaded SVM and RBFNN classifiers. Each stage of the SVM classifier and RBFNN classifier rejects the non-face regions and pass the face regions to the next stage in the cascade thereby efficiently tracking the face. The performance of tracking is evaluated using one hour video data. The performance of the cascaded SVM is compared with the cascaded RBFNN. The experiment results show that the proposed cascaded SVM classifier method gives better performance over the RBFNN and also the methods described in the literature using single SVM classifier [2]. While the face is being tracked, features are extracted from the mouth region for expression recognition. The features are modelled using a multi-class SVM. The SVM finds an optimal hyperplane to distinguish different facial expressions with an accuracy of 96.0%.

Rapid changes in Tropical Cyclone(TC)structure and intensity are the most diffi cult aspects of TC *** intensity and structural changes associated with rapid intensifi cation(RI)and rapid weakening(RW)instances of TCs of North Indian Ocean(NIO)are analysed based on 5 cases each for RI and *** vertical profi les of heat(Q_1)and moisture(Q_2)based on heat and moisture budget equations are analysed to bring out the role of diabatic heating during the RI and RW *** associated structural changes are analysed based on the Fourier fi rst order wave number-1 asymmetry in the precipitation patterns associated with RI and RW *** RI process,there are 2 predominant Q_1 maxima associated with latent heat release near the TC centre,one in the upper troposphere and the other in the lower *** RW process,there is a single dominant Q_1 and Q_2 maxima in the *** the structural changes,there is a pronounced front-back asymmetry in both RI and RW *** asymmetry amplitude in the inner core is lower in the case of RI events but,is quite high for RW ***,RW events are characterised by large convective asymmetry.
