This work presents a machine-learning(mL)algorithm for maximum power point tracking(mPPT)of an isolated photovoltaic(PV)*** to the dynamic nature of weather conditions,the energy generation of PV systems is *** there is no specific method for effectively dealing with the non-linear data,the use of mL methods to operate the PV system at its maximum power point(mPP)is desirable.A strategy based on the decision-tree(DT)regression mL algorithm is proposed in this work to determine the mPP of a PV *** data were gleaned from the technical specifications of the PV module and were used to train and test the *** algorithms predict the maximum power available and the associated voltage of the module for a defined amount of irradiance and *** boost converter duty cycle was determined using predicted *** simulation was carried out for a 10-W solar panel with a short-circuit current of 0.62 A and an open-circuit voltage of 21.50 V at 1000 W/m^(2) irradiance and a temperature of 25℃.The simulation findings demonstrate that the proposed method compelled the PV panel to work at the mPP predicted by DTs compared to the existing topologies such asβ-mPPT,cuckoo search and artificial neural network *** the proposed algorithm,efficiency has been improved by>93.93%in the steady state despite erratic irradiance and temperatures.

The present investigation is concerned with the effect of rotation on an infi- nite circular cylinder subjected to certain boundary conditions. An analytical procedure for evaluation of thermal stresses, displacements, and temperature in rotating cylinder subjected to thermal load along the radius is presented. The dynamic thermal stresses in an infinite elastic cylinder of radius a due to a constant temperature applied to a variable portion of the curved surface while the rest of surface is maintained at zero temperature are discussed. Such situation can arise due to melting of insulating material deposited on the surface cylinder. A solution and numerical results are obtained for the stress components, displacement components, and temperature. The results obtained from the present semi-analytical method are in good agreement with those obtained by using the previously developed methods.

The effects of rotation and gravity on an electro-magneto-thermoelastic medium with diffusion and voids in a generalized thermoplastic half-space are studied by using the Lord-Shulman (L-S) model and the dual-phase-lag (DPL) model. The analytical solutions for the displacements, stresses, temperature, diffusion concentration, and volume fraction field with different values of the magnetic field, the rotation, the gravity, and the initial stress are obtained and portrayed graphically. The results indicate that the effects of gravity, rotation, voids, diffusion, initial stress, and electromagnetic field are very pronounced on the physical properties of the material.

The present investigation is focused on studying the surface wave propagation in a generalized magneto-thermoelastic materials taking(Green Lindsay)model with *** general surface wave speed is derived to study the effects of magnetic field and rotation on surface wave in the presence of *** addition the present study can be comprehensively applied to the magneto-thermoelastic medium with *** possible non-dimensional frequency of surface wave propagation has been obtained as the solution of an algebraic equation involving a determinant whose elements contain the material parameters,the direction of applied magnetic field and rotation of surface wave *** comparisons for the physical quantities are established numerically and represented graphically in different cases with respect to the used effects.

This paper studies the effects of the magnetic field and the porosity on a poroelastic bone model for internal remodeling. The solution of the internal bone remodeling process induced by a magnetic field is presented. The bone is treated as a poroelastic material by Biot＇s formulation. Based on the theory of small strain adaptive elasticity, a theoretical approach for the internal remodeling is proposed. The components of the stresses, the displacements, and the rate of internal remodeling are obtained in analytical forms, and the numerical results are represented graphically. The results indicate that the effects of the magnetic field and the porosity on the rate of internal remodeling in bone are very pronounced.

The effect of magnetic field on the plane vibrations for an elastodynamic orthotropic sphere is studied. Equations of elastodynamic problems of the orthotropic hollow sphere in terms of displacement are solved. The numerical results of the frequency equations in the presence of magnetic field are discussed and shown graphically. Compar-isons are made with the result in the presence and absence of magnetic field in the case of orthotropic sphere. The results show that the effect of magnetic field is very pronounced.
