目的：绿原酸（CGA）是一种普遍存在于传统中药和食物中的多酚类化合物，包括金银花、杜仲叶、茶和咖啡。本文的目的是阐明绿原酸对心肌细胞铁死亡和心力衰竭的影响。方法：我们通过运用主动脉缩窄（TAC）诱导的心力衰竭小鼠模型，评估了绿原酸对心脏功能的影响，具体指标包括左室射血分数（LVEF）、分数缩短（LVFS）、舒张末期容积（LVEDV）、收缩末期容积（LVESV）、收缩末期直径（LVESD）和舒张末期直径（LVEDD）。同时建立了异丙肾上腺素（ISO）诱导的H9c2心肌细胞模型，并用不同浓度的绿原酸进行干预。为了评估绿原酸对心肌细胞铁死亡的影响，我们检测了细胞活性，并使用荧光染色评估了细胞内活性氧（ROS）、亚铁离子（Fe2+）和脂质过氧化物的水平。为了明确绿原酸调控铁死亡的信号通路，我们使用western blot检测了H9c2心肌细胞和小鼠心肌组织中铁死亡生物标志物的表达，如溶质载体家族7成员11(SLC7A11)和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶4(GPX4)。结果：绿原酸显著增强了小鼠心脏功能指标，如LVEF、LVFS、LVEDV、LVESV、LVESD和LVEDD。异丙肾上腺素诱导的H9c2心肌细胞显示出降低的细胞活性及升高的ROS水平、Fe2+含量和脂质过氧化水平，然而，绿原酸显著改善了这些变化。此外，在H9c2心肌细胞和TAC小鼠心肌组织中，绿原酸增加铁死亡相关的蛋白表达，如SLC7A11和GPX4。结论：绿原酸具有通过SLC7A11/GPX4信号通路增强心脏功能，减少心肌细胞中的脂质过氧化、ROS水平和心肌细胞铁死亡的作用。这些结果为绿原酸的临床应用和心力衰竭的治疗提供了新的见解。

We propose a novel quantum nonlinear interferometer design that incorporates a passive parity-time(PT)-symmetric coupler sandwiched between two nonlinear sections where signal-idler photon pairs are generated.The PT symmetry enables efficient coupling of the longer-wavelength idler photons and facilitates the sensing of losses in the second waveguide exposed to analyte under investigation,whose absorption can be inferred by measuring only the signal intensity at a shorter wavelength where efficient detectors are readily available.Remarkably,we identify a new phenomenon of sharp signal intensity fringe shift at critical idler loss values,which is distinct from the previously studied PT symmetry breaking.We discuss how such unconventional properties arising from quantum interference can provide a route to enhancing the sensing of analytes and facilitate broadband spectroscopy applications in integrated photonic platforms.

The interest in dynamic modulation of light by ultra-thin materials exhibiting insulator–metal phase transition,such as VO_(2),has rapidly grown due to the myriad industrial applications,including smart windows and optical limiters.However,for applications in the telecommunication spectral band,the light modulation through a thin VO_(2) film is low due to the presence of strong material loss.Here,we demonstrate tailored nanostructuring of VO_(2) to dramatically enhance its transmission modulation,reaching a value as high as 0.73,which is 2 times larger than the previous modulation achieved.The resulting designs,including free-topology optimization,demonstrate the fundamental limit in acquiring the desired optical performance,including achieving positive or negative transmission contrast.Our results on nanophotonic management of lossy nanostructured films open new opportunities for applications of VO_(2) metasurfaces.

The two-photon state with spatial entanglement is an essential resource for testing fundamental laws of quantum mechanics and various quantum applications.Its creation typically relies on spontaneous parametric downconversion in bulky nonlinear crystals where the tunability of spatial entanglement is limited.Here,we predict that ultrathin nonlinear lithium niobate metasurfaces can generate and diversely tune spatially entangled photon pairs.The spatial properties of photons including the emission pattern,rate,and degree of spatial entanglement are analyzed theoretically with the coupled mode theory and Schmidt decomposition method.We show that by leveraging the strong angular dispersion of the metasurface,the degree of spatial entanglement quantified by the Schmidt number can be decreased or increased by changing the pump laser wavelength and a Gaussian beam size.This flexibility can facilitate diverse quantum applications of entangled photon states generated from nonlinear metasurfaces.

Geometrical dimensionality plays a fundamentally important role in the topological effects arising in discrete lattices.Although direct experiments are limited by three spatial dimensions,the research topic of synthetic dimensions implemented by the frequency degree of freedom in photonics is rapidly advancing.The manipulation of light in these artificial lattices is typically realized through electro-optic modulation;yet,their operating bandwidth imposes practical constraints on the range of interactions between different frequency components.Here we propose and experimentally realize all-optical synthetic dimensions involving specially tailored simultaneous short-and long-range interactions between discrete spectral lines mediated by frequency conversion in a nonlinear waveguide.We realize triangular chiral-tube lattices in three-dimensional space and explore their four-dimensional generalization.We implement a synthetic gauge field with nonzero magnetic flux and observe the associated multidimensional dynamics of frequency combs,all within one physical spatial port.We anticipate that our method will provide a new means for the fundamental study of high-dimensional physics and act as an important step towards using topological effects in optical devices operating in the time and frequency domains.

The paper proposes a methodological scheme that thoroughly accounts for natural-climatic conditions which can impair the stability and longevity of transport facilities （roadways）, to ensure the best possible quality of the initial road design. Factors determining the formation of water-heating mode subgrade soils are allocated, and an information database for mathematical modeling of geocomplexes is shown. Values of strength and deformability of clay soils are calculated within the limits of the defined, homogeneous road districts in Western Siberia to provide the required level of reliability of design solutions.

Integrated photonics is a leading platform for quantum technologies including nonclassical state generation1–4,demonstration of quantum computational complexity5 and secure quantum communications6.As photonic circuits grow in complexity,full quantum tomography becomes impractical,and therefore an efficient method for their characterization7,8 is essential.Here we propose and demonstrate a fast,reliable method for reconstructing the two-photon state produced by an arbitrary quadratically nonlinear optical circuit.By establishing a rigorous correspondence between the generated quantum state and classical sum-frequency generation measurements from laser light,we overcome the limitations of previous approaches for lossy multimode devices9,10.We applied this protocol to a multi-channel nonlinear waveguide network and measured a 99.28±0.31%fidelity between classical and quantum characterization.This technique enables fast and precise evaluation of nonlinear quantum photonic networks,a crucial step towards complex,largescale,device production.

We predict theoretically a regime of photon-pair generation driven by the interplay of multiple bound states in the continuum resonances in nonlinear metasurfaces.This nondegenerate photon-pair generation is derived from the hyperbolic topology of the transverse phase matching and can enable orders-of-magnitude enhancement of the photon rate and spectral brightness,as compared to the degenerate regime.We show through comprehensive simulations that the entanglement of the photon pairs can be tuned by varying the pump polarization,which can underpin future advances and applications of ultracompact quantum light sources.

nowadays,holography translates from a pure technical tool for recording the phase and amplitude of the light wave to a widely applicable research-based method.Holographic devices are used for security enhancement,entertainment,3D display technologies and augmented reality.Binary computer-generated holograms(amplitude or phase-based)are of specific interest.They are easy to compute and their manufacturing methods are fast and robust.In this work,a method of manufacturing amplitude-only binary holograms out of biopolymers films is proposed.Opaque cargo bits made out of different bioactive substances(antibiotics,dyes,etc.)absorb or scatter specific parts of the incoming light wave.Cargo release was conducted by submerging the produced holograms into the aqueous solution at specific pH and temperature levels.Drug elution from the film was traced out by the numerical analysis of the far-field diffraction pattern,which otherwise could only be measured post-factum using sophisticated spectroscopic or chromatography devices.This approach broadens the application of general holography over to the field of biomedical research relevant to quantitative monitoring of the drug elution.
