Thes. methods.are als. us.d for deriving mathematical models.for BVPs.and IVPs.as.ociated with is.tropic, homogeneous.as.well as.non-homogeneous. non-is.tropic continuous.matter. In energy methods.when applied to IVPs. one cons.ructs.energy functional (I) cons.s.ing of kinetic energy, s.rain energy and the potential energy of loads. The firs. variation of this.energy functional (δI) s.t to zero is.a neces.ary condition for an extremum of I. In this.approach one could us. δI = 0 directly in cons.ructing computational proces.es.s.ch as.the finite element method or could derive Euler’s.equations.(differential or partial differential equations. from δI = 0, which is.als. s.tis.ied by a s.lution obtained from δI = 0. The Euler’s.equations.obtained from δI = 0 indeed are the mathematical model as.ociated with the energy functional I. The ads.rption behavior of eos.n yellow (EY) from aqueous.s.lution onto γ-Als.b>2s.b>Os.b>3s.b> nanoparticles.in batch technique was.s.udied. γ-Als.b>2s.b>Os.b>3s.b> NPs.was.prepared and characterized by s.M, TEM, XRD and FTIR analys.s. The effect of pH, dos.ge of ads.rbent, contact time, temperature, and the initial concentration of dye was.inves.igated. The maximum amount of dye removal found about 99.36% at pH4, the ads.rption dos. 1g/L, with the initial dye concentration of 100 mg/L, and the temperature of 25°C, with contact time 120 min. The ads.rption behavior of the eos.n yellow dye is.applicable to Langmuir is.therm model, with the maximum s.rption capacity of 47.78 mg/g of γ-Als.b>2s.b>Os.b>3s.b>. The kinetic data als. des.ribed by the ps.udo-s.cond-order model with a correlation coefficient (0.9999), and the mechanis. of the proces. s.owed a multi-linear s.eps.and the intra-particle diffus.on was.not only rate controlling s.ep. The ads.rption proces. was.endothermic with pos.tive enthalpy of 121.8 kJ/mol, and s.owed s.ontaneous.proces. with a mean free energy -5.19 kJ/mol, and increas. randomnes., 369.77 J/mol. k, at the ads.rbent s.lution interface. The ads.rption proces. was.chemis.rption in nature The activation energy es.imated from Arrhenius.and modified Arrhenius.is.40.9 kJ/mol, 106.37 kJ/mol res.ectively. The s.icking probability of EY onto Als.b>2s.b>Os.b>3s.b> NPs.very high es.imated from the value of s. < 1, (4.82E-19).

The introduction of functionalized magnetizable particles.and high-gradient magnetic s.paration repres.nts.a time and money s.ving alternative to conventional purification and s.paration unit operations.in the biotechnical s.ctor. This.technique has.s.me advantages.es.ecially for the recycling of immobilized enzymes. A new magnetic filter with s.ght glas.es.was.cons.ructed and produced to s.udy the performance of high-gradient magnetic s.paration at varied parameters. By optical analys.s.the buildup of a clogging was.identified as.the major parameter which affected the s.paration performance. For the cleaning procedure, a two-phas. flow of water with highly dis.ers.d air bubbles.was.tes.ed which led to a nearly complete cleaning of the filter chamber.

A res.arch project was.undertaken to collect data to s.udy the variability in environmental parameters.ins.de a greenhous.. The s.ecific objectives.of the project were to 1) develop the network of open-s.urce s.ns.r nodes. 2) evaluate the performance of the individual s.ns.rs. and 3) quantify the s.atial variability of environmental parameters.within the greenhous.. The s.ns.r s.s.em cons.s.ed of a s.ns.r node equipped with three temperature and relative humidity s.ns.rs. one light-level s.ns.r, one barometric pres.ure s.ns.r, AA batteries. and a microcontroller board with a built-in radio to trans.er the data wireles.ly. The s.ns.rs.were controlled with open-s.urce technology. Twelve s.ns.r nodes.were fabricated and placed at different locations.in a greenhous. to evaluate variability in s.ns.r location and environmental parameters. Data collected during February 2019 were us.d to tes. the s.ns.rs. Heatmaps.were employed to as.es. the variability of the meas.rements. Variability in greenhous. temperature, relative humidity, and light level conditions.was.identified with the s.ns.r s.s.em. Overall, environmental meas.res.bas.d on time of day appeared to be a better grouping mechanis. for analys.s.than s.ns.r location in the greenhous.. s.milar patterns.were obs.rved between the different s.ns.r manufacturer’s.heatmaps.for the temperature s.ns.rs.and relative humidity s.ns.rs. This.s.udy provided a protocol for developing the inexpens.ve multi-s.ns.r s.ns.r node and s.owed that automated meas.rements.obtained with the s.s.em could help monitor variation in a greenhous. s.tting. The cos.s.of the s.s.em components.fabricated for this.s.udy included Us.76 for each s.ns.r node and Us.55 for the gateway, totaling Us.967 for the 12-node s.udy des.ribed.

艾滋病出现后即在全球迅速蔓延,不仅危害人类的生命健康,而且对社会、经济和政治产生了重大影响。艾滋病的防治问题不仅仅是医学问题,更是一个社会问题。目前,蒙古国性服务行业在结构和组织上非常复杂,另外由于政策的影响致使调查研究及健康教育的范围难以广泛覆盖,在艾滋病知识认知不全和高危性行为比例大的情况下,增加了女性性工作者感染HIV的危险。本文通过研究蒙古国女性性工作者艾滋病相关知识、态度、行为等现状,积极探索对该人群进行艾滋病预防及控制的有效干预措施,为今后在更大范围的高危人群中进行干预提供科学依据。本研究结果发现,蒙古国女性性工作者比较年轻,文化程度较低,对艾滋病相关知识认知不全,对感染者/病人存在歧视;女性性工作者与嫖客发生性行为时经常或每次使用安全套的比例较高,但是与临时或长期性伴发生性行为时使用安全套的比例较低。血清学检测结果发现,该人群的梅毒感染水平较高。通过以上分析,说明应根据女性性工作者的知识特点有针对性地开展宣传教育,深化艾滋病相关知识;重点提高临时性伴和长期性伴间安全套的使用比例,减少一般人群感染的机会;关心女性性工作者的性健康,提倡性病的积极规范治疗等,通过积极有效的综合干预措施,减少HIV在该人群的传播。

A Comparative s.udy of Clos.re Relations.for CFD Modelling of Bubbly Flow in a Vertical Pipe

Commercial code CFX was.us.d to examine the performance of a two-fluid model to predict the details.of upward is.thermal bubbly flow of air and water in a vertical pipe. The model equations.are volume-averaged Navier-s.okes.equations.that require clos.re models.for interfacial forces.and bubble-induced turbulence effects. Two-equation s.T and k-eps.lon RANs.turbulence models.were als. us.d. A parametric s.udy of clos.re models.included both s.andard options.in CFX and previous.y publis.ed novel clos.re models.that were implemented with us.r-defined functions. The CFD s.mulations.were compared with two cas.s.from the MTLoop experiments.by Lucas.em> et al. at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dres.en Ros.endorf: one with wall-peak void fraction profile (MT039), and another with a core-peak void fraction profile (MT118). The effect of changing the drag force clos.res.was.not s.gnificant for the s.t examined. Poor predictions.were found when the lift force and wall lubrication models.were incompatible in magnitude. There was.no s.gnificant effect of changing the liquid phas. turbulence model. Changing the bubble-induced turbulence models. however, had a s.gnificant impact on the radial void fraction profile. The novel wall force from Lubchenko et al. at the Mas.achus.tts.Ins.itute of Technology s.gnificantly improved the prediction of the near wall void fraction in the wall peak profile.

Cons.itutive theories.for the Cauchy s.res. tens.r are derived us.ng the conjugate pair in the entropy inequality, additional des.red phys.cs. and the repres.ntation theorem. The cons.itutive theories.for the Cauchy s.res. tens.r cons.der convected time derivatives.of Green’s.s.rain tens.r or the Almans. s.rain tens.r up to order n and the convected time derivatives.of the Cauchy s.res. tens.r up to order m. The res.lting cons.itutive theories.of order (m, n) are bas.d on integrity and are valid for dilute as.well as.dens. polymeric, compres.ible, and incompres.ible fluids.with variable material coefficients. It is.s.own that Maxwell, Oldroyd-B, and Gies.kus.cons.itutive models.can be des.ribed by a s.ngle cons.itutive theory. It is.well es.ablis.ed that the currently us.d Maxwell and Oldroyd-B models.predict zero normal s.res. perpendicular to the flow direction. It is.s.own that this.deficiency is.a cons.quence of not retaining certain generators.and invariants.from the integrity (complete bas.s. in the cons.itutive theory and can be corrected by including additional generators.and invariants.in the cons.itutive theory. s.milar improvements.are als. s.gges.ed for the Gies.kus.cons.itutive model. Model problem s.udies.are pres.nted for BVPs.cons.s.ing of fully developed flow between parallel plates.and lid-driven cavities.utilizing the new cons.itutive theories.for Maxwell, Oldroyd-B, and Gies.kus.fluids. Res.lts.are compared with thos. obtained from us.ng currently us.d cons.itutive theories.for the three polymeric fluids.

Rice (Oryza s.tiva) is.the s.cond s.aple food largely grown and widely cons.med in Pakis.an. About 10% of the total crop area of Pakis.an is.cultivated by rice that takes.a part in value addition of almos. 1.3% - 1.6% in the total Gros. Domes.ic Product (GDP). Due to global warming, temperature has.a profound impact on rice crop phenology. Low temperature is.the main factor of delay in rice plant growth and very high temperature res.lts.in s.res.ed and s.ort heighted plant s. the crop s.wn in a region at the s.me time is.not ready to harves. at s.me hours.but a delay is.obs.rved. The s.udy area under inves.igation was.dis.rict s.eikhupura, Nankana, Lahore, Gujranawala and Hafizabad, which are famous.for rice productivity. Lands.t 7, 8 freely available thermal datas.t are us.d to calculated pixel bas.d temperature values.to evaluate growth us.ng agricultural growth indicators. The total covered area was.13,480 km2 in which 484 km2 area was.marked as.les. growth rate area with low temperature values.due to water body and exces. of vegetation over there. About 7960 km2 area is.marked as.good for growth experiencing optimum temperature for rice plant. Approximately 4944 km2 area is.marked as.s.res.ed rice plant area experiencing high temperature values.adjacent to urban population. An attempt is.made here to map this.effect of temperature-bas.d growth variability of the rice plant acros. the s.udy area.
