The Role of <sup>18</sup>F-FDG PET/CT in Staging Breast Carcinoma in Hanoi Oncology Hospital, vietnam

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the role of 18F-FDG PET/CT scans in staging breast carcinoma. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study on 46 patients who were diagnosed with breast carcinoma in Hanoi Oncology Hospital, vietnam from June 2019 to June 2021. Those patients underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT scans for pre-treatment staging. Results: There was a positive correlation between the size of primary tumors and their SUV (p vity and specificity of 18F-FDG PET/CT were 75% and 100%, respectively. The rate of distant metastasis detection was 15.2% (7/46 patients). Metastatic lesions were found in bone, lungs, liver, and lymph nodes. There was a significant difference in SUV among organs (p 18F-FDG PET/CT. After PET/CT, 17.4% patients (8/46) had their treatment plan changed. Conclusions: 18F-FDG PET/CT plays an important role in staging breast carcinoma. Determining accurately the breast carcinoma stage by 18F-FDG PET/CT could help alter treatment strategy to best suit with patients, and avoid unnecessary surgery.

Rice （Oryza sativa） is sensitive to salinity, but the salt tolerance level differs among cultivars,which might result from natural variations in the genes that are responsible for salt tolerance. High-affinitypotassium transporter （HKTs） has been proven to be involved in salt tolerance in plants. Therefore, wescreened for natural nucleotide polymorphism in the coding sequence of OsHKT1, which encodes the HKTprotein in eight vietnamese rice cultivars differing in salt tolerance level. In total, seven nucleotidesubstitutions in coding sequence of OsHKT1 were found, including two non-synonymous and five synonymoussubstitutions. Further analysis revealed that these two non-synonymous nucleotide substitutions （G50Tand T1209A） caused changes in amino acids （Gly17Val and Asp403Glu） at signal peptide and the loop ofthe sixth transmembrane domain, respectively. To assess the potential effect of these substitutions on theprotein function, the 3D structure of HKT protein variants was modelled by using PHYRE2 webserver. Theresults showed that no difference was observed when compared those predicted 3D structure of HKTprotein variants with each other. In addition, the codon bias of synonymous substitutions cannot clearlyshow correlation with salt tolerance level. It might be interesting to further investigate the functional roles ofdetected non-synonymous substitutions as it might correlate to salt tolerance in rice.

Assume that we want to shell an asset with unknown drift but known that the drift is a two value random variable, and the initial distribution can be estimated. As time goes by, this distribution is updated and base on the probability of the drift takes the small one gives us the stopping rule. Research results show that the optimal strategy to sell the asset is if the initial probability that the drift receives a small value greater than a certain threshold then liquidates the asset immediately, otherwise the asset holder will wait until the probability of the drift receives a small value passing a certain threshold, it is the optimal time to liquidate the asset.

This study develops the approach by Minh & Khanh [1] to the classic Barro and Sala-i-Martin method [2], [3] named “expanded Barro regression method”, and applies this approach in analyzing the convergence of provincial per capita GDP in vietnam over the period of 1991-2007. Different aspects of provincial convergence are considered in this paper. The estimated result on conver-gence from our model is compared to other models.

The objective of this research is to examine impacts of exchange rate volatility and FDI on efficiency of the vietnamese agricultural sector at the provincial level for the period 1998-2011. Due to the characteristic of high uncertainty in agricultural production, the chance-constrained programming model would be used to estimate efficiency of the agricultural production sector. In order to study impacts of exchange rate volatility and FDI, we employ the two-stage model. In the first stage, we use the chance-constrained programming model to measure technical efficiency and ARIMA model to quantify exchange rate volatility. In the second stage, we use the fixed effect model to evaluate impacts of exchange rate volatility and FDI on efficiency of agricultural production in poor and rich provinces. The estimated results show that fluctuation in exchange rate volatility would reduce efficiency in agricultural production but FDI has an insignificant impact on the efficient production in vietnam agricultural sector.

Misallocation means that the source is not distributed efficiently. This leads to an important question of how the relationship between misallocation and efficiency is (see [1]). The purpose of this study is to address the empirical relationship between misallocation and efficiency in the electric and computer industry in vietnam during the 2005-2015 periods. To do this, we built a model that allowed us to evaluate the impact of misallocation and other factors on efficiency. The slack-based measured efficiency (SBM) model (Tone [2]), and the super-efficient model (Tone [3]) are used to estimate the firms’ efficiency. The approach of Hsieh and Klenow [4] is used to measure misallocation in the study area. Estimated results of the model about the relationship between misallocation and efficiency show that the variable representing the misallocation has a negative sign and statistical significance in all models. In other words, the misallocation negatively affects efficiency. The bigger the misallocation, the lower the efficiency.

Traditional HPC （High Performance Computing） cluster is built on top of physical machines. It is usually not practical to reassign these machines to other tasks due to the fact that software installation is time consuming. As a result, these machines are usually dedicated for the cluster usage. virtualization technology provides an abstract layer which allows several different operating systems （with different software packages） running on top of one physical machine. Cloud computing provides an easy way for the user to manage and interact with the computing resources （the virtual machines in this case）. In this work, we demonstrate the feasibility of building a cloud-based cluster for HPC on top of a set of desktop computers that are interconnected by means of Fast Ethernet. Our cluster has several advantages. For instance, the deployment time of the cluster is quite fast： We need only 5 min to deploy a cluster of 30 machines, Besides, several performance benchmarks have been carried out. As expected, the embarrassingly parallel problem has the linear relationship between the performance and the cluster size.

随着经济全球化的趋势不断加强,越南经济发展与世界经济的发展越趋紧密化,越南经济发展愈受国际关注。近些年全球范围内的石油价格和粮食价格的不断上涨,以及越南本国的粮食价格飞涨、流动性过剩和宏观调控的失误使越南的经济发展面临着很多困难,其中最显著的难题就是通货膨胀。越南的货币贬值与物价上涨现象,一定程度上使居民生活受到影响,同时对国家经济发展的稳定也造成影响。近年来,越南政府学者积极探索通货膨胀的治理问题。本文在深入分析越南经济发展的基础上,采用VAR和格兰杰因果检验的实证分析方法,探讨越南2004-2014年通货膨胀的主要影响因素。实证证据表明:第一是国际原油价格对CPI有显著的影响。越南CPI与国际原油价格的各阶滞后期均呈现正比例的变化关系,意味着短期内国际原油价格对其有很明显的影响。国际石油价格对CPI的主要传导途径是通过影响国内原油价格,进一步影响原材料购进价格,进而影响交通运输业价格、用油工业品价格和居民燃气价,最后引起CPI变动。第二是国际大米价格对越南CPI有显著的影响。由于越南是重要的产米大国,同时是世界第二出口国家,国际大米价格对越南CPI有重要的影响。国际大米价格通过外贸途径和期货途径对国内大米价格波动产生影响。第三是汇率对CPI的影响不显著,但CPI对汇率冲击存在响应。在实证的周期内,并不能得到汇率变动影响越南通胀的证据。但对于汇率短期内的冲击,CPI响应较大,滞后3期达到高位,但在5期左右衰减为零。随机经济体开放程度越来越高,越南国内物价变动受到国际汇率变动的影响程度也在提高。第四是利率变动对CPI的影响不显著,且CPI对利率冲击响应很弱。由于越南特定的经济环境中,利率调整对消费者价格指数影响的实证证据并不显著,且对于利率的短期冲击,响应很弱。第五是工业产值变动与CPI存在显著的正相关关系。经济的快速且持续的增长,带动需求的强劲,在一定程度上引起通货膨胀。论文的主要贡献体现在,系统探讨了越南通胀膨胀的主要影响因素,并提供了实证上的证据,并以此对通胀治理提出相应的建议。
