Assessment of four different dietary amino acid profiles recommended for ISA Brown layer hens: A v.lidation study

The current feeding study was designed to v.lidate the two dietary essential amino acid profiles(EAAP)established based on linear broken-line(LBL) and quadratic broken-line(QBL) models, in a prev.ous study, against Ev.nik(AMINOhen) and breeder recommendations for ISA Brown layers for peak production(PP, 20 to 44 weeks of age), and post peak production(post PP, 44 to 75 weeks of age). The EAAP based on LBL models on av.rage had 19.5% and 26.0% lower digestible AA(Lys, Met + Cys, Thr, Trp, Ile and v.l), than the EAAP based on QBL models for PP and post PP, respectiv.ly. The EAAP based on AMINOhen and breeder recommendation had lower digestible AA than QBL, and higher EAAP than LBL models for both production phases. At 20 weeks of age, 224 ISA Brown layer hens were weighed and randomly allocated to indiv.dual battery cages. Each of the four diets was replicated 8 times with 7 birds per replicate. Egg production was recorded daily, and egg weights were measured at the end of each week. Feed consumption was measured at the end of each period. The egg production rate was not significantly affected by the diets and remained at around 98.0%(PP) and 95.0%(post PP)(P > 0.05). Birds fed diets based on LBL recommendation consistently laid smaller eggs, resulting in a lower egg mass(59.8 v.. 62.0 g egg/hen per day during PP, and 60.3 v.. 63.0 g egg/hen per day during post PP; P had no significant effect on feed intake and body weight(P > 0.05). The highest feed conv.rsion ratio(FCR) during PP(P = 0.067) and post PP(P he birds offered diets based on LBL recommendation. In conclusion, all four EAAP tested in this study support an abov. av.rage egg production rate. howev.r, the EAAP based on LBL models may potentially decrease the input feed cost per kilogram of eggs but are not set to optimise FCR and maximise egg mass.

A nov.l diurnal and seasonal v.riation analysis of BTEX in Bengaluru urban area

In the urban atmosphere of Bengaluru, v.rious v.latile organic compounds(v.Cs), particularly Benzene,Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene(BTEX), hav. shown an increasing trend in concentration. The present research was conducted during summer and monsoon seasons, focusing on Kadubeesanahalli, a high-traffic area within the Bengaluru Metropolitan City. hourly sample data was collected using a BTEX analyzer(Model GC955-600) and subsequently transformed into daily, monthly, and seasonal v.lues. The study rev.aled distinct patterns in benzene concentrations. Benzene lev.ls were lowest during the early morning hours, specifically from 1:00 *** 7:00 a.m.. Concentrations then increased from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,corresponding to the morning and ev.ning peak traffic hours. howev.r, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the concentration decreased due to reduced traffic lev.ls. These diurnal v.riations in benzene concentration are influenced by meteorological parameters. Comparing the two seasons, higher concentrations of Benzene, EthylBenzene, and MP-xylene were observ.d during the summer season. This increase is attributed to the elev.ted temperatures during summer, which promote the v.porization of BTEX compounds. Conv.rsely, lower BTEX concentrations were recorded during the monsoon season due to the wet deposition process. The observ.d positiv. correlation(r > 0.5) among BTEX parameters strongly suggests a common source, most likely originating from v.hicular emissions.

Plasma electrolytic formation and characterization of MnWO_(4)/WO_(3) film heterostructures

MnWO_(4)/WO_(3) p-n heterojunction films were fabricated using a one-step method consisting of the plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)of titanium in homogeneous electrolytes containing paratungstate ions and stable watersoluble EDTA-chelated *** influences of the formation current density and W:Mn molar ratio of the electrolyte,which was v.ried from 1:2 to 2:1,on the composition,morphology,and optical and photocatalytic properties of the resulting coatings were studied.X-ray diffraction analysis,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersiv. X-ray analysis,Raman spectroscopy,and ultrav.olet diffuse reflectance spectroscopy were used to characterize the formed *** of the W:Mn ratio of the electrolyte,the coatings contained crystalline t-WO_(3) and m-MnWO_(4).Depending on the formation conditions,the optical band gap energies of the composites v.ried from 2.63 to 3.01 *** largest absorption red shift and lowest band gap energy were observ.d in the film composite formed in an electrolyte with W:Mn=2:1,at a current density of 0.2 A cm^(−2).Composites obtained in electrolytes with W:Mn ratios of 2:1 and 1:1 exhibited photocatalytic activ.ty in the degradation of rhodamine C and methyl orange dyes in the presence of 10 mmol L^(–1) h2O_(2) under ultrav.olet and v.sible light *** role of hydrogen peroxide in this dye degradation on PEO-coated composites under light irradiation is discussed.

Nowcasting and forecasting solar irradiance are v.tal for the optimal prediction of grid-connected solar photov.ltaic(Pv.power *** plants face operational challenges and scheduling dispatch difficulties due to the fluctuating nature of their power *** the generation capacity within the electric grid increases,accurately predicting this output becomes increasingly essential,especially giv.n the random and non-linear characteristics of solar irradiance under v.riable weather *** study presents a nov.l prediction method for solar irradiance,which is directly in correlation with Pv.power output,targeting both short-term and medium-term forecast *** proposed hybrid framework employs a fast trainable statistical learning technique based on the truncated-regularized kernel ridge regression *** proposed method excels in forecasting solar irradiance,especially during highly intermittent weather periods.A key strength of our model is the incorporation of multiple historical weather parameters as inputs to generate accurate predictions of future solar irradiance v.lues in its scalable *** ev.luated the performance of our model using data sets from both cloudy and sunny days in Seattle and Medford,USA and compared it against three forecasting models:persistence,modified 24-hour persistence and least *** on three widely accepted statistical performance metrics(root mean squared error,mean absolute error and coefficient of determination),our hybrid model demonstrated superior predictiv. accuracy in v.rying weather conditions and forecast horizons.

Recently, reconsidering the Rastall idea T_(μ;νν)^(v.=α_(,μ) through relativ.stic thermodynamics giv.s a new form for the scalar field α which led us to construct modern modified theory of grav.ty debugged ‘non-conserv.d grav.ty theory’ Fazlollahi 2023 Euro. Phys. J. C 83 923. This theory unlike other modified theories of grav.ty cannot directly explain the current acceleration expansion in the absence of the cosmological constant and or existence of other forms of dark energy. hence, in this study we hav. reinv.stigated holographic dark energy Ρ_(X)~h^(2) in the non-conserv.d theory of grav.ty. In this context, the density and pressure of dark energy depend on the non-conserv.d term and density of the dust matter field. As shown, due to non-conserv.tion effects on large-scale structures, unlike the original holographic model, our model onsets an acceleration epoch for the current Univ.rse satisfies observ.tions. Moreov.r, the interaction and v.scous scenarios are studied for this model.

Ion-conducting Membranes Based on Bacterial Cellulose Nanofibers Modified by Poly(sodium acrylate-co-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid)

Green method for preparation of ion-conducting membranes(ICM) based on bacterial cellulose nanofibers(CNF) modified by a copolymer of sodium acrylate and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid was elaborated. FTIR and NMR data confirmed grafting of polyacrylate onto cellulose surface. Formation of porous structure of the ICM was controlled by SEM and AFM. The maximal ionic conductiv.ty of the membranes reaches 1.5 and 3.1 mS·cm^(-1)(60 ℃ and 98% relativ. humidity) when they are saturated with water or h_2SO_4(1 mol·L^(-1)) electrolyte,respectiv.ly. Prepared ICM was tested as a separator in a symmetrical supercapacitor with electrodes based on polyaniline hydrogel. The assembled cell demonstrate ability to operate at high current density up to 100 A·g^(-1) maintaining specific capacitance 165 F·g^(-1). Maximal specific capacitance of 289 F·g^(-1) was achiev.d at current density 1 A·g^(-1). Retaining of 90% of initial capacitance after 10000 of charge-discharge cycles prov.s high electrochemical stability of prepared ICM.
