Enhanced saturation magnetization in La^(3+) doped NiCo ferrites prepared by sol-gel auto-combustion method

Lanthanum doped nickel-cobalt nano ferrites with chemical formula Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.05,0,10,0.15 and 0,20) were prepared using a simple sol-gel auto combustion *** basic structural properties were determined by X-ray diffraction method and the formation of single phased spinel ferrite was *** crystalline size decreased from 25 to 11 nm and lattice parameter a increases with increase of La *** surface morphology of these ferrites was observed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM) and agglomerated irregular grains are observed with increase of the rare earth element La ***-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) result confirms the presence of the required *** Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) spectrum indicates the formation of the spinel ferrite structure with M-O *** direct band measurements from ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis) spectroscopy indicate that the direct band gap decreases from 1.39 to 1.19 eV for x=0.05 to x=0.15,then increases to 1.28 eV for x=*** room temperature magnetic properties of these ferrites were studied by a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).The enhanced saturation magnetization of 49.73 emu/g is observed for x=0.10 and then saturation magnetizations are gradually decreased for x=0.15 and x=*** the remanent magnetization and coercivity also follow the same trend.

In this paper,we present a comprehensive system model for Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)networks empowered by Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA)and Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)*** network comprises essential components such as base stations,edge servers,and numerous IIoT devices characterized by limited energy and computing *** central challenge addressed is the optimization of resource allocation and task distribution while adhering to stringent queueing delay constraints and minimizing overall energy *** system operates in discrete time slots and employs a quasi-static approach,with a specific focus on the complexities of task partitioning and the management of constrained resources within the IIoT *** study makes valuable contributions to the field by enhancing the understanding of resourceefficient management and task allocation,particularly relevant in real-time industrial *** results indicate that our proposed algorithmsignificantly outperforms existing approaches,reducing queue backlog by 45.32% and 17.25% compared to SMRA and ACRA while achieving a 27.31% and 74.12% improvement in Qn ***,the algorithmeffectively balances complexity and network performance,as demonstratedwhen reducing the number of devices in each group(Ng)from 200 to 50,resulting in a 97.21% reduction in complexity with only a 7.35% increase in energy *** research offers a practical solution for optimizing IIoT networks in real-time industrial settings.

Transition metal selenides have attracted great interest in electrochemical energy storage applications because of their good electrochemical activity and conductivity ***,we reported the metal molybdenum selenide(M Se/Mo_(3)Se_(4)(M:Zn,Mn,and Ni))electrode materials on their morphological and electrochemical properties by varying the metal ions via a facile hydrothermal *** effects of the structural,morphological,and surface area properties of the prepared powder materials on their electrochemical performance were *** to the hierarchical porous and unique interconnected structure,the nickel molybdenum selenide nanosheet spheres(NMS NSSs)-based electrode material delivered an excellent specific capacity value of 252 mAh g^(-1) at a current density of 1 Ag^(-1).Moreover,the optimized NMS NSSs electrode exhibited outstanding cycling stability with a capacity retention of 80%and a corresponding coulombic efficiency of 99%after 80,000 ***,a pouch-type hybrid supercapacitor(HSC)device was assembled using NMS NSSs material as a positive electrode and activated carbon as a negative electrode in 1 M aqueous KOH ***,the assembled HSC device exhibited superior energy and power density values as well as magnificent cycling *** real-time practical applications,light-emitting diodes and a digital display were powered using two series-connected HSC ***,the obtained tremendous results strongly suggest that the NiSe/Mo_(3)Se_(4) NSSs-based materials could be a promising electrode for ultralong-life energy storage applications.

The early Archean oceans were marked by significant redox changes which have subsequently shaped the Earth’s *** chemical sediments of banded Iron and Manganese formations provide important geochemical proxies for these historical shifts in the redox conditions and to trace the ancient sedimentation patterns and *** this study,we investigate the proto-ore of the Archean Mn-formations of the Sandur,Chitradurga and Shimoga greenstone belts of Dharwar Craton of southern Peninsular India,which is geochemically characterised as quartz arenites,Mn-arenites,Fe-arenites,Mn-argillites and *** geochemical systematics suggest their deposition in shallow to deeper shelf in the Archean *** detrital zircon U-Pb systematics of Mn arenites and argillites indicate their maximum depositional age of 3230±52 Ma representing the oldest onset of sedimentation during the Paleo-Mesoarchean timeframe in the Chitradurga Group of Dharwar *** detrital influx proxies suggest variations in sedimentation rates associated with the Archean transgressive-regressive cycles and fluctuating hydrodynamic conditions,together reflecting an increasing trend in the contributions of recycled sediment from Sandur to Chitradurga and Shimoga greenstone *** available detrital zircon ages of the Mn arenites and argillites from these greenstone belts indicate a~600 Ma prolonged period of Mn deposition for which high-T hydrothermal fluids from Archean mid-oceanic ridges supplied the *** trace element compositions of the concordant detrital zircons suggest 3.3-3.1 Ga Dharwar basement TTG/granitoid source which is corroborated by the zircon crystallization temperatures of 690-820℃.The source-normalisedα-dose rates of the detrital zircons signify greater degrees of sediment transport and multi-cycle nature which correspond to the earliest episode of crustal growth in the Indian sub-continent associated with the Mesoarchean Ur supercontinent.T

Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is a progressive inflammatory disorder of the pancreas. It is predominantly idiopathic (with an unknown cause) in India and mostly due to alcohol in the West. Diabetes that occur secondary to chronic pancreatitis (T3c Diabetes) is often brittle, and is difficult to attain normoglycemia with conventional treatment requiring multiple doses of insulin. Mild and severe model of CP was induced in mice by repeated intraperitoneal injections of cerulein and L-arginine respectively with an intent to study islet dysfunction and develop therapeutic strategy in animal models of CP. Dietary intervention of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) was tested in both the models of CP for its beneficial effects on insulin secretory functions. Pancreata collected upon euthanasia were used to study alterations in the morphology of pancreatic parenchyma and inflammation by staining with H&E and fibrotic changes by Masson’s trichrome and picrosirius staining. Insulin secretory functions of islets were evaluated to test the efficacy of the dietary intervention on β-cell functions. Intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test was performed to monitor the glucose homeostasis before and after the dietary intervention. Both the models resulted in CP with dispersed acini, inflammation and fibrosis. The loss of acini and extent of fibrosis was more in L-arginine model. 2-fold improvement in glucose-stimulated insulin secretory functions of islets was observed with 0.5% EGCG dietary intervention in cerulein model of CP and 1.6-fold in L-arginine model of CP. A further improvement in insulin secretion by 3.2-fold was observed with additional dietary supplements like N-acetyl cysteine, curcumin in combination with EGCG. Our results thus demonstrate and highlight the therapeutic potential of dietary green tea (EGCG) supplementation in reversing islet dysfunction and improving glucose homeostasis in experimental chronic pancreatitis in mice.

Efforts have been made to evaluate the influences of the addition of nanoparticles on the strength,durability and mineralogical changes of high strength concrete(HSC).Therefore,mixes were prepared for conventional concrete mix(CCM)of M80 ***,various mixes were prepared by replacing cementitious materials initially with 1%Nano-CaCO_(3)(NC),2%NC,3%NC in the CCM,and then 1%NC and Nano-SiO_(2)(NS)NS,2%NC and NS,3%NC and NS(NC and NS were in equal proportion)in the *** developed concretes were then evaluated for mechanical properties,permeation characteristics,and mineralogical *** the studies,it is found that the concrete at 2%NCS possesses superior mechanical and superior permeation characteristics of all the mixes.A clear variation in the mineralogical structure with the addition of nanoparticles has been observed.

One-dimensional numerical investigation on multicylinder gasoline engine fueled by micro-emulsions,CNG,and hydrogen in dual fuel mode

This research work is the novel state-of-the-art technology performed on multi-cylinder SI engine fueled compressed natural gas,emulsified fuel,and hydrogen as dual *** work predicts the overall features of performance,combustion,and exhaust emissions of individual fuels based on AVL Boost simulation *** types of alternative fuels have been compared and *** results show that hydrogen produces 20%more brake power than CNG and 25%more power than micro-emulsion fuel at 1500 r/min,which further increases the brake power of hydrogen,CNG,and micro-emulsions in the range of 25%,20%,and 15%at higher engine speeds of 2500-4000 r/min,*** addition,the brake-specific fuel consumption is the lowest for 100%hydrogen,followed by CNG 100%and then micro-emulsions at 1500 r/*** 2500-5000 r/min,there is a significant drop in brake-specific fuel consumption due to a lean mixture at higher engine *** CO,HC,and NOx emissions significantly improve for hydrogen,CNG,and micro-emulsion *** fuel shows zero CO and HC emissions and is the main objective of this research to produce 0%carbon-based emissions with a slight increase in NOx emissions,and CNG shows 30%lower CO emissions than micro-emulsions and 21.5%less hydrocarbon emissions than micro-emulsion fuel at stoichiometric air/fuel ratio.

Rational manipulation of multicomponent materials into a sophisticated architecture is a prerequisite for developing lithium‐ion ***,mechanical diffusion‐induced strain accumulation leads to sluggish diffusion kinetics and anomalous structure instability,further resulting in inferior long‐term cyclability and rate ***,the von Mises stress distribution on open microcages composed of secondary nanoparticles(OCNs)is mechanically investigated by finite element simulation,which elucidates the pronounced stress‐release effect on OCNs ***,a facile metal–organic framework‐derived methodology is proposed for constructing multihierarchical carbon‐encapsulated oxygen vacancy‐enriched MnO/Ni OCNs(OV‐MnO/Ni OCNs).Due to structural and compositional integration,the OV‐MnO/Ni OCNs achieve extraordinary lithium storage performance with excellent reversible capacity(1905.1 mAh g^(−1) at 0.2 A g^(−1)),ultrahigh cycling stability(1653.5 mAh g^(−1) at 2 A g^(−1) up to 600 cycles),and considerable rate capability(463.3 mAh g^(−1) even at 10 A g^(−1)).The primary lithium storage mechanisms are further systematically determined by experimental and theoretical *** enriched oxygen vacancies,metallic Ni configuration,and N‐doped carbonaceous matrix provide more active sites,construct omnidirectional diffusion pathways,suppress volume expansion,and boost electronic conductivity,thus yielding an exceptional diffusivity coefficient and expedited electrochemical *** study offers profound insights for the elaborate design of multicompositional electrodes into a mechanical stress‐release structure toward advanced energy storage application and development.
