General noise cost functions have been recently proposed for support vector regression(sVR). When applied to tasks whose underlying noise distribution is similar to the one assumed for the cost function, these models should perform better than classical -sVR. On the other hand, uncertainty estimates for sVR have received a somewhat limited attention in the literature until now and still have unaddressed problems. Keeping this in mind,three main goals are addressed here. First, we propose a framework that uses a combination of general noise sVR models with naive online R minimization algorithm(NORMA) as optimization method, and then gives nonconstant error intervals dependent upon input data aided by the use of clustering techniques. We give theoretical details required to implement this framework for Laplace, Gaussian, Beta, Weibull and Marshall–Olkin generalized exponential distributions. second, we test the proposed framework in two real-world regression problems using data of two public competitions about solar energy. Results show the validity of our models and an improvement over classical -sVR. Finally, in accordance with the principle of reproducible research, we make sure that data and model implementations used for the experiments are easily and publicly accessible.

We consider the space of rapidly decreasing sequences s and the derivative operator D defined on it. The object of this article is to study the equivalence of a differential operator of infinite order; that is φ（D） =^∞∑k=0φkD^k.φk constant numbers an a power of ***, meaning, is there a isomorphism X （from s onto s） such that Xφ（D） = D^nX？. We prove that if φ（D） is equivalent to Dn, then φ（D） is of finite order, in fact a polynomial of degree n. The question of the equivalence of two differential operators of finite order in the space s is addressed too and solved completely when n = 1.

AIM:To evaluate the long-term response to the fixed combination of dorzolamide/timolol in patients with primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and the addition of other intraocular pressure(IOP)lowering medications such as prostaglandin analogs and ***:A retrospective,non-randomized,and descriptive clinical study was performed with 182 eyes diagnosed with *** were divided into three groups:a group with fixed combination of dorzolamide/timolol only,a second group with prostaglandin analogs plus fixed combination of dorzolamide/timolol,and a third group with the addition of brimonidine to the same fixed *** data were gathered retrospectively and the differences between groups were ***:IOP was reduced satisfactorily in all three groups;however,a progressive IOP reduction was noted in the group with the fixed combination plus prostaglandin *** this group,a progressive,significant and more homogeneous response of the reduction was noted in comparison with the other ***:IOP reduction was efficacious in all three *** addition of prostaglandin analogs showed progressive IOP reduction,progressive responseand absence of long-term *** did not show a significant additive effect.

Introduction: Left Ventricle Postinfarction Pseudoaneurysm (LVPs)—false aneurysm occurs after a free-wall rupture contained by the adjacent pericardium. LVPs lacks the normal structure of the ventricular wall and disrupts the normal chamber anatomy. However, the natural history, clinical presentation and surgical outcome are still unclear. For that reason, it is necessary to describe the most relevant anatomical characteristics of LVPs and the appropriate surgical strategies currently applied. Methods: We reviewed the anatomical characteristics of several patients diagnosed of LVPs and the surgical technique performed. In this work two different anatomical types of LVPs are described in detail, with the surgical and structural implications for left ventricle reconstruction. Results: There are two different anatomical forms of LVPs: 1) Typical pseudoaneurysm, with a small gateway neck between the Left Ventricle and the false aneurysm chamber (Figure 1(A));2) Atypical pseudoaneurysm, in which the anatomical defect is bigger, without well-defined edges, extends over a large segment of infarcted and thinned myocardial tissue. In both cases, the therapeutics targets and the surgical techniques used were directed to restore the normal geometry of Left Ventricle, keeping the optimal mitral valve function. Conclusions: The surgical key-step is to preserve or to remodel the ventricular chamber anatomy. This fact restores the ventricular geometry, not only removing the wall discontinuity that generated the pseudoaneurysm. Nevertheless, final prognosis depends on the underlying ischemic cardiomyopathy and mechanical complications, such us mitral regurgitation or ventricular septal defect.

jatropha curcas is a species with a variety of uses. It is grown primarily for oil for biodiesel, but also has agronomic and medicinal applications. Two methods were evaluated for cryopreservation of seeds and zygotic embryos of j. curcas: desiccation followed by rapid immersion of seeds and embryos in liquid nitrogen (LN, -196°C), and vitrification of zygotic embryos. Prior to cryo-preservation, seeds were manually scarified and the moisture content (MC) of seeds and embryos was determined. Explants were disinfected after cryopreservation. seed germination after LN exposure was 100%. Plantlet development was better in sand substrate than that in vitro. survival of zygotic embryos after cryopreservation was also 100%, without significant differences between treatments. Optimal development (100%) and plantlet length (51.77 mm) were observed with embryos dried for 60 min to 9.4% MC under laminar flow prior to cryopreservation. Zygotic embryos subjected to the vitrification procedure did not withstand LN exposure. survival data for non-cryopreserved embryos after each step of the vitrification procedure provided information about embryo tolerance to cryoprotectants.

Latin-America (LATAM) is the second region in gastric cancer incidence;gastric adenocarcinoma (GA) represents 95% of all cases. We provide a mutational landscape of GA highlighting a) germline pathogenic variants associated with hereditary GA, b) germline risk variants associated with sporadic GA, and c) somatic variants present in sporadic GA in LATAM, and analyze how this landscape can be applied for precision medicine. We found that Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela are the countries with more published studies from LATAM explicitly related to GA. Our analysis displayed that different germline pathogenic variants for the CDH1 gene have been identified for hereditary GA in Brazilian, Chilean, Colombian, and Mexican populations. An increased risk of developing somatic GA is associated with the following germline risk variants: IL-4, IL-8, TNF-α, PTGs2, NFKB1, RAF1, KRAs and MAPK1 in Brazilian;IL-10 in Chilean;IL-10 in Colombian;EGFR and ERRB2 in Mexican, TCF7L2 and Chr8q24 in Venezuelan population. The path from mutational landscape to precision medicine requires four development levels: 1) Data compilation, 2) Data analysis and integration, 3) Development and approval of clinical approaches, and 4) Population benefits. Generating local genomic information is the initial padlock to overcome to generate and apply precision medicine.
