In this paper, the problem of maintenance task scheduling is tackled with a twofold objective: meeting the performance criteria of a company and taking into account some operators’ requirements. The production manager makes sure that makespan is optimised while developing operators’ flexibility. The use of skill matrixes enables him to make pairs and to develop training in order to make trainees more autonomous. Operators’ requirements are in particular related to periods of unavailability and their wishes relating to their tasks. Given the complexity of the problem, an exact solution isn’t conceivable and our research focuses on a metaheuritic method giving us a solution that is considered satisfactory. A multi-criteria analysis of the results is performed in order to reach a compromise among conflicting goals.

In this paper we report a multifunctional nanostructured surface on glass that, for the first time, combines a wide range of optical, wetting and durability properties, including low omnidirectional reflectivity, low haze, high transmission, superhydrophobicity, oleophobicity, and high mechanical resistance. Nanostructures have been fabricated on a glass surface by reactive ion etching through a nanomask, which is formed by dewetting ultrathin metal films （〈 10 nm thickness） subjected to rapid thermal annealing （RTA）. The nanostructures strongly reduce the initial surface reflectivity （-4%）, to less than 0.4% in the 390--800 nm wavelength range while keeping the haze at low values （〈 0.9%）. The corresponding water contact angle （0c） is -24.5~, while that on a flat surface is -43.5~. The hydrophilic wetting nanostructure can be changed into a superhydrophobic and oleophobic surface by applying a fluorosilane coating, which achieves contact angles for water and oil of -156.3~ and -116.2~, respectively. The multicomponent composition of the substrate （Coming~ glass） enables ion exchange through the surface, so that the nanopillars＇ mechanical robustness increases, as is demonstrated by the negligible changes in surface morphology and optical performance after 5,000-run wipe test. The geometry of the nanoparticles forming the nanomask depends on the metal material, initial metal thickness and RTA parameters. In particular we show that by simply changing the initial thickness of continuous Cu films we can tailor the metal nanoparticles＇ surface density and size. The developed surface nanostructuring does not require expensive lithography, thus it can be controlled and implemented on an industrial scale, which is crucial for applications.

Non-alcoholic steato-hepatitis (NASH) is related to insulin resistance and, thus, frequently occurs as part of the metabolic changes that accompany obesity, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. In childhood, the overwhelming boost of obesity and its co-morbidities have lead to the extraordinarily increased prevalence of NASH. Establishing effective therapeutic strategies to treat the disease represents the challenge for hepatologists and gastroenterologists in the next decade. Therapeutic approaches have aimed at treating associated conditions (obesity, insulin resistance, hyperlipemia, etc ) or reducing liver oxidative damage (vitamin E).

The dissemination of laparoscopic colorectal surgery(LCS) has been slow despite increasing evidence for the clinical benefits, with a prolonged learning curve being one of the main restrictions for a prompt uptake. Performing advanced laparoscopic procedures requires dedicated surgical skills and new simulation methods designed precisely for LCS have been established: These include virtual reality simulators, box trainers, animal andhuman tissue and synthetic materials. Studies have even demonstrated an improvement in trainees' laparoscopic skills in the actual operating room and a staged approach to surgical simulation with a combination of various training methods should be mandatory in every colorectal training program. The learning curve for LCS could be reduced through practice and skills development in a riskfree setting.

Aim:Targeted muscle reinnervation(TMR)is a procedure pioneered to improve control of myoelectric prostheses and was fortuitously found to improve postamputation pain by transferring residual nerve ends from an amputated limb to reinnervate motor nerve units in denervated *** study sought to perform a systematic review of the literature regarding the postamputation pain-related outcomes following ***:PubMed database was queried using the key term“targeted muscle reinnervation”.Articles were chosen based on the following criteria:(1)clinical studies on TMR;(2)greater than one subject;(3)studies were case-controls,comparative cohort analyses,controlled trials,or randomized controlled trials;and(4)studies included one or more outcomes of interest:prosthetic use and functionality,improvement or persistence of pain,indications,complications,donor nerves,and technical aspects of ***:Overall,9 studies including 101 upper extremity and 252 lower extremity nerve transfers were analyzed,with nerve transfer type,amputation location,and specific neurotizations *** studies assessed the efficacy of TMR in addressing phantom limb pain(PLP)and residual limb pain(RLP),with 3 out of 4 studies reporting significant improvements in PROMIS(Patient Reported Outcome Measurement Information System)scores in TMR subjects compared to *** additional studies did not analyze PROMIS scores but reported subjective improvements in pain ***:Included studies demonstrated TMR had lower maximal pain and pain intensity,behavior and interference compared to the standard of *** TMR used to treat patients with established painful neuromas also reported improvement in pain compared to baseline.

Preparation and Characterization of Flexible, Transparent and Thermally Stable Aromatic Co-polyamides

Two aromatic co-polyamides were synthesized combining two diacid monomers containing bulky pendant groups, 5-(9,10-dihydro-9,10-ethanoanthracene-11,12-dicarboximido)isophthalic acid(DEAIA) and 5-tert-butylisophthalic acid(TERT), with 4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dianiline(HFA) or 2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-1,4-phenylenediamine(Durene) by direct polycondensation. The structures of the obtained aromatic co-polyamides were confirmed by FTIR, Raman and 1 H-NMR. The co-copolyamide films, DHTH and DDTD, exhibited rms-roughness values between 0.94 and 1.60 nm, respectively. Moreover, they presented good thermal stability up to300 °C. Young's moduli of the co-polyamide films were between 4.1 and 4.3 GPa. X-ray diffraction results showed that the co-polyamide films were amorphous due to the incorporation of both bulky pendant groups, tert-butyl and dibenzobarrelene. The combination of bulky pendant groups provided intrinsically transparent co-polyamide films with a transmittance higher than 88% in the range of 400-780 *** to these outstanding film and optical properties, they are suggested to be flexible substrates in applications for solar cell and other portable electronic devices.

Metal-halide perovskites are revolutionizing the world of X-ray detectors,due to the development of sensitive,fast,and cost-effective ***-powered operation,ensuring portability and low power consumption,has also been recently demonstrated in both bulk materials and thin ***,the signal stability and repeatability under continuous X-ray exposure has only been tested up to a few hours,often reporting degradation of the detection *** it is shown that self-powered direct X-ray detectors,fabricated starting from a FAPbBr_(3)submicrometer-thick film deposition onto a mesoporous TiO_(2)scaffold,can withstand a 26-day uninterrupted X-ray exposure with negligible signal loss,demonstrating ultra-high operational stability and excellent *** structural modification is observed after irradiation with a total ionizing dose of almost 200 Gy,revealing an unexpectedly high radiation hardness for a metal-halide perovskite thin *** addition,trap-assisted photoconductive gain enabled the device to achieve a record bulk sensitivity of 7.28 C Gy^(−1)cm^(−3)at 0 V,an unprecedented value in the field of thin-film-based photoconductors and photodiodes for“hard”***,prototypal validation under the X-ray beam produced by a medical linear accelerator for cancer treatment is also introduced.
